(The scene is now the Shishigumi headquarters room on the top floor. There is furniture, plants, and sliding doors that lead to the porch. The full moon is still visible. The light shines on a small table. Soft music plays as Haru writes on a piece of paper.)

(The music slows as Legoshi slowly approaches her. Legoshi helps her up and dances for a little while. Legoshi fads into the background and Haru reaches out to him as he fads. She faces the audience.)

(Haru sits back down at his desk as the audience cheers. Suddenly the Chef Lion walks in. Dark music plays.)
Chef Lion:
" Talking to yourself again? I hope all the moping around was worth it. I have checked every inch of you and I am already starving! I hope the boys say that you are as tender as you look."
Haru:
" You're wrong!"
(The Chef Lion grabs Haru by the shirt and pushes her down. The Chef and Haru struggled for a bit but the chef got a good hold of her and her neck became exposed. Before he could bite down, Haru kicked away the cane that was supporting him. The Chef falls and Haru stands back up and kicks him. The audience cheered.)
Haru:
" Now you listen here you feen! All the moping around was my own will and testimony! I started to realize how much I squandered my life being a defenseless rabbit!
*she steps closer to the Chef as he backs up*
All that I have been through and everything all the way up to this moment was all because I took things safe. Well guess what? If I am going to die tonight, I might as well let you know one thing: Regardless if you eat me, you will never have the satisfaction of tasting tender meat! So go ahead! I'll be your worst dinner ever!"
(The audience cheers again as the Chef struggles to stand)
Chef:
"You think... that all this… brave talk... is going to scare me into not eating you? You can convince the higher ups of our world to not strike you down but you can never convince a starving lion to wait for his next meal!
(The Chef jumps and struggles with Haru again. The music becomes more suspenseful. The cane is kicked away by Haru again but it skids off stage right.)
I never accept hard meat as an option for dinner! But you, my dear… you will be tonight's exception!"
(Haru screams but suddenly one of the Lions enter the room.)
Lion:
" Sir!"
Chef:
" WHAT IS IT?!"
Lion:
" Sir… we are being attacked! Two men just broke into the front entrance and started fighting all of us!"
Chef:
" Impossible! Who the hell are these two anyways? Trained soldiers? Assassins? What are they?"
Lion:
" They are just-"
(The lion is smacked upon the head with the cane. He falls to the floor. Legoshi walks in, his eyes focused on the Chef. The audience cheers as Legoshi walks carefully toward the Chef. Suspenseful music plays until he trips over the unconscious lion and drops the cane.
The audience laughs.
The Chef and Haru watch as he gets back up again with the support of the cane and music kicks back in again.)
Legoshi:
" Step away from rabbit… and you won't get hurt."
Chef:
" Tough talk from a student. A student! Out of all the mammals in the world who can try to suppress me and the Shishigumi, a mear high school student comes forth!"
Legoshi:
" I'm not alone… I have… a panda!"
Legoshi swings at the Chef and the two brawl it out. Music plays as the two fight and throw fists at one another. Haru backs away to avoid getting hit. Legoshi pushes the Chef away and quickly hands her his shirt.)
Legoshi:
" Put it on, quick! I'm sorry if it smells of blood and other things!"
Haru:
" WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!"
Legoshi:
*struggles with the Chef* " I'm here to rescue you!"
Haru:
" WHAT?! WHY?!"
Legoshi:
" Because I- gah!"
(Legoshi is punched in the stomach and knocked down. He's on the ground holding his stomach.)
Chef:
" I had enough of this, boy. Once I am done with you, the girl will become the main course. And you? Well… you might be the perfect side dish!"
Legoshi:
*holds out his hand* " Wait!"
Chef:
" What?"
Legoshi looks over to Haru slowly.
Legoshi:
" I'm sorry that you have to see this."
Haru:
" See-"
(Legoshi screams as he lunges at the Chef. The lights turn red as the sound of flesh ripping and blood splattering fills the theatre. When the lights return to their normal color, the Chef is on the floor in pain. Legoshi stands up slowly, his back is toward the audience. When he turns around, his mouth and part of his clothes are covered in blood.)
Haru:
" Legoshi…"
(Legoshi spits out blood and weakly smiles.)
Legoshi:
"I am so sorry about what you had to see…"
(the tune of You Knew starts to plays)
Haru:
You knew~
You knew I would be here…
Legoshi:
Yes I knew~
I knew I couldn't leave you here…
At long last you are free.
"Haru…" will you run away with me?
(When the song ends, Legoshi slumps on Haru. Haru struggles to keep him from crushing her.)
Haru:
" Uh, Legoshi? Legoshi! Come on buddy. You have to get up, I can't support you forever, big guy!"
(Legoshi staggers back up, holding Haru's hand as they walk toward stage right. Haru pauses and looks to the audience before leaving with him.)
Haru:
" Boys. The things they do for love…"
(She shrugged her shoulders and leaves. The audience laughs and clap.)
(The Chef Lion gets up.)
Chef:
" That… brat! How could I let a 18-year-old walk into my territory and make a fool out of me! Argh…
(He limps over to the porch at the back of the stage and looks out)
There he is now, walking alongside the rabbit… why her? Out of all the rabbits in the world. Why did this wolf and his colleague slaughter nearly all of my men for her? No matter…
(He turns to the audience, takes out a gun, and grins.)
Legoshi… you may have won this fight. But you are still too oblivious to how harsh this world will treat you… let me be your lesson."
(He aims his pistol at the wolf but someone else on this side of the sliding door aims a gun at his head. He then walks into view.
Louis.)
Louis:
" Class is canceled for this evening.
You are not going to hurt her anymore. In fact, you aren't going to hurt anyone else after tonight. Now, I want you to beg for your life."
Chef:
" How did you…? Where did you...?"
Louis:
" The deer dances quietly."
(The stage goes dark then a loud gunshot rings out.)
