RAVEN's POV

I woke up, the ring on my finger still as heavy as the moment Damian put it on me yesterday. I still had to go to work for the rest of the week. I turned on the shower and went back to look through my clothes I could wear for the day. I felt him waking up and I peeked back to see his hand running over the place I had been laying and then his head snapped up and he looked around.

"In here." I called and his eyes found mine before he turned and moved to get out of bed. He walked slowly until he was in the doorway to watch me. "What are you doing?"

"Watching you get dressed... or maybe joining you in the shower." He smirked as he leaned against the opening again.

"Oh yeah? And what will you be doing today while I am at work?" I asked and he smiled before walking towards me.

"Telling my father about you saying yes... a few meetings before lunch that shouldn't take more than half an hour each... and then I am coming to get you for lunch." He smiled before coming closer. "I will message or call you when I am on my way." He told me and I just nodded. I was going to put my trust in him now. He had to follow through or stop making plans with me.

"What do you think your father is going to say?" I asked and tilted my head. He smirked even wider and moved closer to me, wrapping an arm around my hips and pulling me closer to his chest.

"He is going to want to throw a party." Damian winked and then bit his lower lip. "I can probably talk him into it being just a few close friends... not the city." He told me and I gulped. "The city will go crazy over their 'billionaire' hunk loss. And of course there will be stories of the issues we are having over a prenup, and then about the wedding details." The more he talked about gossip the more it made my stomach roll. "What?"

"What if I don't want all of that? Why can't we keep it quiet until the wedding or just never talk about it?" I asked and he grabbed my left hand, giving my finger tips a small kiss before leaning his forehead on mine.

"Beloved... you're not having second thoughts are you?"

"No... not about you... just about the public having their say, and the made up stories and stuff." I told him and he sighed and nodded before looking around.

"So what if we did do everything in secret? Only have those who matter to us there?" He asked and I gulped.

"Why not just drive down to city hall with Bruce and maybe Greyson? But he will bring Kori, and this Jason and-"

"It's going to be hard to get married with anyone besides Bruce. If we get Kori then Greyson comes, but then the others, including the old Titans will be upset they weren't also invited. I say... we take a drive down to the court house... today. At lunch. I would have already told Bruce by then, so he will come with us." Damian leaned in, his lips skimming mine before his hips met mine, his hand went back down my lower back, cupping my ass before lifting me again and actually taking me towards the bed.

"Damian." I whispered and he clicked his tongue and dropped me down before moving down to pull down my short shorts. "I have to go to work." I told him and he gave a laugh over my hip and I pushed away from him before going right over to the bathroom. He was quick and followed me right into the shower.

"Don't go... not to work. Go and find a nice white dress, and then we can go get married sooner." He backed me into the corner. I was no cleaner than when I first got into the shower, but I didn't mind at all. "You should be in a big white dress and we can get our first dance..."

"You really are a romantic Damian Wayne." I teased and he nodded before leaning in to kiss me one more time.

"Say you will do it. Please Rae." He begged and leaned his lips on my nose for a moment. I got lost in the green eyes and before I even realized what I was doing I was agreeing and calling into my work.

"Are you sure you can't come in today Rachel? I am not sure about your calls and items but one day could mean giving up your lead-"

"I know. I just need today as my personal day. It's very important." I told her and she hummed and started asking if there was a familial issue that would take more than just today and I told her that it was actually very personal but not a problem that would compromise the rest of my work week.

"Okay, today is approved and I will see you tomorrow. I hope everything you need is done today." She told me and I thanked her quick before hanging up.

"Got it?" He asked as he spit out his toothpaste and I nodded and walked towards him.

"So... where do I go to buy a white dress?"

"A bridal shop is my guess." He smirked and I jabbed his shoulder. "If you don't want to shop... I'm sure you could conjure a more beautiful dress. And it would be unique like you."

"That would take most of my morning for sure." I told him and he sent me a smile and rinsed his mouth one last time before facing me.

"That gives me time to speed through my meetings." He told me and I smiled back. "Message me when the dress is done, I will end the meeting I am in, and then I will come get you and we will just take a drive down to city hall." He moved a piece of my hair and I bit my lip.

"Okay." I watched him get ready for his day and I followed him to the door. I went right to my computer and started looking up dresses for some kind of idea.

I wished we had more time, it at the same time I didn't want the media in our business. At all. I didn't want drama. I didn't want gossip and I didn't want a huge wedding.

Damian's POV:

"Father... I need you to get everyone important to Rachel and I, were getting married this afternoon. If they can't make it we understand. It will be at the city hall." I swerved in and out of traffic, needing to get to the meetings just so I can get them over with.

"She said yes to a small wedding?" I rolled my eyes. Trying to find the words.

"Technically she said yes to a fast wedding." I told him and honked at an imbecile that wasn't moving at a green light.

"Where are you?"

"Heading into a couple meetings. I also need you to bring my best suit to the office so I can change into that before going to pick her up."

"You can't pick her up. Does she even have a dress?" Damian sighed as his father started to say how weddings were just supposed to be a drive down to city hall, especially not for any Wayne. "You'll get married here, at the manor. I will get everything ready. Couldn't of given me a whole day." He grumbled before just hanging up on me.

I rolled my eyes and hit the gas until I was pulling into the drive. I got out, went to the elevator and before I could really focus on the meetings I told them that I would look over the files again, the reviewed ones, and would get back to them in three days with all the decisions.

No one questioned me and as I made my way to the office to get the rest of the files from before I realized I had to head to Wayne manor to see what my father was up to.

Getting to the manor was easy, finding a place to park was the difficult part. Large trucks were outside, people carrying tables and chairs and setting up a tent on the front lawn. It was a circus.

I walked through and crowds, looking for my father when I heard him yelling where to put some food.

I stormed into the kitchen just in time to see the others leaving and him staying behind. "What is all this?"

"You're here! Great, I assumed you would want a vanilla cake with white chocolate frosting-"

"Father what have you done?" I asked looking at the giant tent in the yard, the catering staff running around to get tables and chairs set up.

"You want a fast wedding but you don't really want a courthouse wedding. Raven will love this." Father told me and shook his head as he looked around. "If we weren't billionaires we would not have this problem."

"If we weren't billionaires we wouldn't need to do a quick wedding." I told him and crossed my arms.

"Is she far along?" I narrowed my eyes and cracked my neck.

"She's not pregnant Jason." I told her he annoying voice behind me and turned to see him carrying a load of chairs.

"Sure she isn't. And Bruce doesn't love a criminal." He laughed and kept walking and I looked to father and he had a bit of a smirk.

"She isn't? You're sure?"

"We just wanted to do this before the media and annoying people in our lives know too much about the engagement and try and spy on us for our wedding plans. If we pretend this is just a party and it's a wedding... less invasion that way." I explained slowly and father laughed but nodded like it made sense before laughing a bit.

"Go get your bride. We're almost set up." Father waved me off and I sighed. I'd get dressed when I got back and she probably would too.

I got in my car and headed out. I got to our apartment and headed up to see her in her robe and fresh from a shower. "Found a dress?" I asked and she nodded. "Good, hello." I smiled and leaned over to kiss her.

"Hi." She whispered and I relaxed into her. "Shall we go for that drive to city hall now?" She asked and I nodded before moving to lay against her leg. I cuddled into her and she ran her hands through my hair and I couldn't wait any longer to make this woman that takes care of me my wife.

"Let's go." I lifted myself before bringing her with me. We got in the car... and we took our drive... to Wayne manor.
