"So, Im just gonna probably put the rest of my stuff in storage until I find a place" liv told Abby
"That sounds good for right now, so when are you filing the paper work?" Abby asked while sipping her coffee
"I'm meeting with David Rosen in a couple of days to figure it all out"
"And fitz?" Abby smirked
"We haven't really talked about the possibility of a relationship but we have something" liv smiled thinking about what fitz might be doing right now.
"You guys are at a good pace. What's your plan for Jake?" Abby asked
Olivia watch her hands fidgeting with her bracelet "I want to give him enough respect to tell him rather then serving him" liv confessed
"Liv he doesn't deserve your respect" Abby scoffed shaking her head "liv you are too kind to that man he doesn't deserve, curtesy or you holding his hand through this process because liv he will think that you still want him and play into to that. Let your lawyer handle that. you don't owe him anything"
Olivia knew Abby was right but, even after all jake did she felt, because she took those vowels in the good she should be there through the bad even with the pending divorce. Olivia married Jake when she lost unaware of a whole other life where she could be happy and not fake each supposed happy moment. She found that she was getting the courage to stick up for herself. "I know" was all she said. There wasn't anything that would change Abby's mind because after all it was her opinion. "I appreciate you" liv smiled
"I know" Abby patted her leg

Fitz was worried about liv he wasn't sure if she was still at home, or if Jake had done something to her. He wanted to know what Jake and Charlie were talking about before he walked in. Oh it was bugging him all morning. It's close to lunchtime, so fitz dropped liv a line.
"Hey" he smiled hearing her voice.
"Hi" she wanted to call earlier but she felt like one of those clingy teens and decided against it. Which is why she was ecstatic that he called
"I'm calling to see if your free for lunch?" He nervously rubbed his neck.
"I am, what do you have in mind?"
"Uh, I'll bring the food and you bring yourself" Fitz smirked
"Let's meet at the national mall, in...let's say 30mins"
"Sounds good" fitz hung up, "Rick Im going out for a long lunch, cancel my afternoon meeting with Charlie, thank you" fitz said to his assistant on his way out.
Fitz picked up Liv's favorite chicken burger and some fries on the way
"I've done more site seeing over the last two days, then I've done in last three weeks" Fitz teased hugging liv holding their food.
"I don't want you getting lost" she smiled sitting down
Fitz joined her, opening the paper bags "I got you the famous chicken sandwich you love" he smirked handing her the bag
"You circled here twice to get me food from my favorite restaurant?" Her heart felt like it grew times ten. It was the thought, the effort. She was trying hard not to compare fitz and Jake, but when was the last time Jake did something thoughtful like this.
"I didn't know what else you liked and I really enjoyed it too"
"Thank you" she leaned in pecking his in the lips.
They finished their food and now they're just sitting and enjoying the view.
"Liv?" Fitz turned facing her "Did something happen last night when you went home?"
Liv looked confused "no why?"
"You would tell me if something happened right?" Fitz asked fully concerned
"Yea, but why did you ask?"
"I sent Jake out of town for an IPO, but when I got there he and Charlie were talking about something I obviously came in on the last part, but I heard Charlie ask "what did you do to her" and I was worried about you?"
Liv frowned "Jake and Charlie were talking about me?"
"Yea, thats why i asked did something happen I thought he hurt you or something"
Liv laughed softly, "he is so cute when he worries" she thought " I haven't been home for a couple of days I've been staying with Abby" liv admitted
Fitz let out a sigh of relief "I'm sorry I didn't mean to pry"
Liv traced her hand over his "no..it's actually nice knowing that someone cares." Liv smiled "you sent jake out of town?" She circled back
"Yea, i wanted to spend some time together, but I hadn't realized you left him"
"I wanna spend time with you too" she hugged his arm
"I have the rest of the day, is there anything you wanna do?"
"I just wanna stay here, with you" she felt safe with him.
"good morning Liv" Abby walked past her smiling.
"What time is it?" She asked rubbing her eyes
"Like 10am, late night" Abby smirked teasing her
Liv sat up wrapping the blanket around her shoulders "we didn't do anything" Liv admitted
"Mhmm" Abby rolled her eyes playfully "what time did you get in last night?"
"Um. . .sometime after midnight"
"Okay, well get ready" Abby gave her a push.
"What time is Sarah getting here?" Liv asked
"She said she'll meet us at the bridal shop"
"Okay" Liv got up throwing the blanket to the side.

Sarah walked into the shop. "Hi, I'm looking for Abby Whelan" she asked the woman at the front desk.
"Right this way ma'am" the lady led her to Liv, and Abby was already trying on dresses.
"Thanks"
"Omg finally your here" Liv quipped
"Yea, how many dresses have I missed?"
"We just got here so this is technically the first one, at this store at least"
"Oh good, I can't wait" She smiled
"Champagne?" Liv held up the bottle
"Yes please" Sarah grabbed a glass.
Abby stopped at the curtain "Liv you have to be honest I need to find the best dress so don't hold back, okay"
"Ok" Liv agreed
Abby stepped from behind the curtain holding the train of the dress
"Omg ABBY!!!" Sarah exclaimed
"Sarah, when did you get here?" Abby ran up hugging her
"A few minutes ago" Sarah stepped looking at the dress. "But you look great. this dress is amazing"
"Yea Abby I agree and we've been looking for months abby this is beautiful"
"Sarah you don't know how happy I am to have you back i missed this" Abby pulled Liv and Sarah in embracing them.
"Oh abby! if you want I can design your bridesmaids dresses"
"Omg really?" Abby asked me excitedly
"Yes,how many girls are there?"
"It's just you and Liv"
"Wait really, you want me to your bridesmaid?" Sarah squealed
"Yes, Im so glad we're together again" Olivia expressed

"so Liv" Sarah smirked "you and my brother" she wiggles her eyebrows teasing her
Olivia rolled her eyes smirking "yea, we haven't...you know" she clarified
"But still you guys are great"
"And Jake" Abby reminded
"I'm getting to it abby, but he's out of town right now"
"What" Abby exclaimed
Sarah sipped her Lemon water
"Yup, Fitz sent him out of town for some IPO"
"That's Fitz" Sarah shook her head chuckling
"He just wants to spend some time together and so do I" Liv smiled
The server approached the table "a salad, pasta and one chicken burger" he sat the food down "is there anything else I can get for you ladies"
"We're fine, thank you" they said almost in unison.
"So...are you inviting him to the wedding?" Abby questioned
"Can i?" She asked incredulously
"I think you should" Sarah nodded
"Yes! Weddings are so romantic" Abby said
"Ok I guess I'll ask him" Liv's phone started buzzing "speaking of Fitz that's him now. Hello"
"Hey Liv do you wanna take a day trip?"
Liv smiled "a day trip...where?"
"You know I love to surprise you, so is that a yes?"
"Yes"
"Okay I'll pick you up from Abby's?" Fitz confirmed
"Yea"
"I'll be there in an hour" Fitz hung up
Liv finished her burger "okay we have to go Fitz is gonna be at Abby's in" Liv checked her watch. "45 minutes"
"Where are you going?" Abby asked
"Yea" Sarah chimed in
"He said a day trip so let's see what he has planned, I need an outfit" Liv squealed

"Should I wear this" She held up a flowing skirt "or this" Liv asked presenting a pink sundress.
"Pink sundress, and knowing my brother there's gonna be water involved so wear a bikini underneath" Sarah explained
Abby nodded in agreement to Sarah.
"Okay, I'll be right back" it never really took Liv too long to get dressed. "Okay Im ready" she said after 15 minutes
"Wow, okay I love this. Liv you look good"
"Yea Fitz is gonna lose his mind" Abby said
Olivia grabbed her phone "oh actually... he's outside, see you later, Abby bye Sarah" Liv blew them a kiss closing the door behind herself.
Fitz got out to open Liv's door "you look amazing" Fitz leaned down kissing her.
"You don't look so bad yourself" Liv got in the car "so where are we off to?"
"It's a surprise, but I think you'll love it"

An hour later Fitz and Liv pull up to ocean city beach.
"Fitz" she squealed
"Come on" Fitz took hold of her hand leading her onto the beach. "Here is good, close to the water but not too close" Fitz laid out a blanket
"You spoil me" Liv smiled joining him on the blanket "I'm glad we're here together"
"Me too, let's get in the water" Fitz pulled her up throwing her over his shoulder. This was straight out of a movie the sun shining, playing in the water with the person you adore.
"Fitzzzz" she squealed
They were splashing around having fun, Liv and Fitz weren't realizing it but they were falling deeply in love. Just knowing that he could make her happy by the little things and her allowing him to be the man to make her happy made him shoot for the stars. Liv ran out of water escaping his water attacks, just for him to pull her back in kissing her passionately. Liv threw her head back in a fit of laughter being in his arms felt like the world had stop spinning and for a second they were the only ones on earth. Olivia and Fitz went back to their set up.
Fitz pulled Olivia down into his lap, planting small kisses on the blade of her shoulder, Liv giggled. her neck was a weak spot. Olivia flipped around so she was sitting in his lap facing him. "You make me feel safe" she confessed as she laid her head in the nape of his neck.
"I'll never hurt you" Fitz whispered in her hair. Fitz thought Olivia deserved the world and knowing that there was someone in her life that was hurting her. Hurt him because Olivia is amazing and she's everything to him now.
"I know" Liv pulled her head back kissing him.
Fitz broke the kiss looking into her eyes "you can tell me anything, you know that right"
Liv nodded "yes" Liv shifted off his lap, laying across the blanket she propped her head up with his shirt and Fitz laid his head on her belly. "I was a daddy's girl" Liv started with "we were always together up until the day he died" she choked back her tears
"Liv we can talk about something else" Fitz raised up looking at her.
"It's fine, i want you to know me like I wanna know you" she smiled softly
They talked for a good hour and a half trading family stories and laughs. Liv was so open with him about her and her family and Fitz was the same but Liv danced around her marriage with Jake and Fitz wasn't going to force her to talk about something that shes not comfortable talking about. He was happy to tell Liv about his mom and dad he even threw in some embarrassing stories about Sarah and him back in the day. Olivia slipped her dress back on, it was getting dark and cold.
"Want me to take you home?" Fitz asked while he was pulling his shirt over his head.
"Can I-" she paused collecting her words "can we go to your place?"
Fitz was surprised but he was down "ok" he smirked

By the time Fitz and Olivia got back to D.C, she was sleeping, Fitz picked her up, and took her inside, that penthouse elevator door really came in handy.
"Hey Sarah" Fitz whispered
Sarah raised up "hey, punk, looks like the gym is finally paying off" she teased.
"Are you sleeping out here, or the guest room"
"I can sleep here"
Fitz went and put Olivia in the guest room.
"Whew" Fitz huffed sitting down with Sarah.
"Where'd you take her?"
"Ocean city beach"
"I knew it" she smiled
"Yea we had a great time" Fitz looked so happy
"Im happy for you two"
"Thank Sarah." Fitz stood up "Alright well I'm gonna shower and go to bed, goodnight"
"Goodnight"Sarah shot back
Olivia woke up in the middle of the night to get some water. Sarah was still up
"Hey wheres the kitchen?" Liv asked
"Through there" Sarah pointed
Liv got a glass of water "what are you doing up?"
"I was watching reruns of the bachelor" Sarah admitted.
"Well if you want the bed, you can take it" liv offered
"You sure?"
"Yea, i don't like sleeping alone" Olivia snorted "where's fitz's room?"
"Down that hall next to the first bathroom" Sarah told her.
"Goodnight" liv said heading to fitz's room, where he was still sleeping.
She took off her dress, put one of fitz's shirts on and climbed into bed with him, she snuggled in wrapping his arm around her and fell asleep.
