"My name is Padme Amidala" The woman now known as Padme says as she holds out her hand for Yugi to shake, which he happily does.
"It is very nice to meet you" Yugi says with a bright smile
"Why don't we all go ahead and sit down,Anakin should be done with dinner very soon,". Padme says as she guides Yugi & Ahsoka into the dining area. Yugi & Ahsoka take a seat next to each other as Padme sits across from them and leaves a seat open next to her for Anakin.
Ahsoka & Padme then begin to talk about the war, The Jedi, Anakin among other things, leaving Yugi & Yami to their thoughts.
"Yami, I am still worried about that vision we had" Yugi says as he begins to remember the vision that transpired mere moments ago. The vision held so many questions. Why were the Egyptian Gods fighting & how were they even summoned in the first place? The two figures cloaked in black were definitely pure evil and the one cloaked in black armor felt familiar to Yugi somehow.
"I am as well Yugi" Yami replies " There is so much about the Jedi & Sith that we don't understand, as well as our powers & abilities to summon our monsters. We don't even know how to summon the Egyptian Gods yet".
"Yeah, I know. Still, this vision means something perhaps it involves your memories and the Millennium Items"?
"Perhaps Yugi, but you have to remember, as far as we know, none of the Millennium Items came with us to this world & if they did, the Puzzle would've acted on that feeling"
"Yeah, I guess you're right Pharaoh"
"How about we enjoy this dinner with our friends & figure out the meaning behind this vision later"
"Sounds like a plan to me Yami"
Yugi & Yami then end their mental conversation just in time for Anakin to come out with dinner, alongside R2 & Threepio. The dinner wasn't anything to fancy, just simply some meat along with some veggies & rice.
"So Yugi, tell me a little about yourself" Padme says as she stops to take a sip of wine "Ani hasn't told me anything about at all & I am dying to know about his new padawan"
"Well what do you want to know?" Yugi asks in response
"Anything at all," Padme says. Before Yugi could speak, Anakin decided to intervene.
"Yugi is a very special case Padme. His personal life & situation are heavily classified"
"Since when does classified mean anything to you Ani" Padme says while smirking which earns a groan & pout from Anakin.
"Well Skyguy, more people are going to find out about Yugi. Why not let Padme be the first one. at least we know & trust her" Ahsoka says
"I suppose that's fair Ahsoka" Anakin states. He then nods at Yugi to tell Padme his story & situation
"Well, you're not going to believe this, but I am from another world or well another universe entirely" Yugi says
"Really?!" Padme says in complete shock and bafflement "Can you prove it?" As she says this, Ahsoka & Anakin simply smirk, knowing exactly what Yugi was going to do.
"You ready Pharaoh" Yugi asks
"Heh I was born ready" Yami replies
"YUGIOHHHHH". A bright light then consumes the room, blinding Padme for mere moments. Once the light dims down, Padme removes her hands from her eyes & is shocked at the scene before her. She sees Yugi, but taller and more commanding, similar to that of Anakin. She couldn't help, but blush, which didn't go unnoticed by Anakin nor Ahsoka, which also elicit a sense of annoyance from the Jedi Knight.
"Hello there Padme, my name is Yami" Yami says to her as he extends her hand out to her & she takes it albeit, a little nervously.
"So, how did you do this?" Padme asks "Is this a new Jedi mind trick or a new ability that only certain Jedi have"
"Not exactly," Anakin says. He then tells her the story of how Yugi ended up in Ahsoka's room & was brought to the council in order to figure out how he got there. From there, Anakin tells her that the person in front of them isn't exactly Yugi, but his dark counterpart Yami, much to the irritation of Yami. He also tells her about the Millennium Puzzle & how Yami once wore the item when he was Pharaoh 3,000 years ago.
"That is quite an amazing story" Padme says as he looks at Yami & then back at the Millennium Puzzle. "What else can the Puzzle do?"
"Yugi & I have the ability to summon monsters from our universe to aid us in battle by using the Force & the Puzzle"
"May I see one of your monsters Yami"
"Of course" Yami then concentrates as the Puzzle begins to glow…..
"I summon Kuriboh" Yami says as a brown, furry creature with cute little claws, feet and big eyes spawns in and immediately latches onto Yami, much to the annoyance of the Pharaoh
"Awwwww, he's so cute," Padme says. Kuriboh then notices her and jumps over to her, rubbing his fur against her cheek causing her to laugh. He then does the same to Ahsoka & Anakin before going back to Yami. Yugi also switches places, startling Padme. Kuriboh also rubs up against Yugi, causing him to chuckle in amusement.
"You certainly are an interesting Jedi Yugi" Padme says "I can see why Anakin picked you"
"Well Skyguy didn't even want Yugi, until Obi-Wan forced him too" Ahsoka says to which Anakin glares at her, making her chuckle under her hand
"Keep talking Snips & I'll have R2 shock you awake whenever you're late for another meditation session" Anakin says which inturn also earns him a glare from the Togruta.
"Snips?" Yugi says questioningly as he turns towards Ahsoka "Your nickname is Snips"
"Yep, because she snippy like an old lady" Anakin replies in a snicker, which earns him a nudge from Padme. For the rest of the dinner, the 4 allies/friends spent the night laughing and playing around with Kuribo, R2, & Threepio. However, before their night was officially over, Yugi sensed something from the force.
"Go...Tatooine….Find Item…...Mill….Alone" the force whispered into Yugi's ear startling both him and Yami. Kuriboh seemed to sense it as well as he froze & stared at his master.
Anakin & Ahsoka noticed Yugi freeze up as well along with Padme.
"Is everything alright Yugi?" Ahsoka asks
"I don't know" Yugi replies "The Force had whispered something to me"
"What did it say" Anakin asks as he is now on full alert. He knows firsthand that if the Force does something, whether it'd be a whisper or a vision, that it must be important.
"It asked me to go to Tatooine to search for an item alone," Yugi says. As he says this, he senses Anakin's force signature skyrocket into pure anger. Padme, even though she isn't force sensitive, notices Anakin's anger and asks him to go into his room, which he happily, albeit forcely does.
"Did I do something wrong?" Yugi asks in concern for Anakin
"No you didn't Yugi" Padme says as she looks down for a moment, before turning her attention back to Yugi. "You see Yugi, Tatooine is where Anakin was born. He was born into slavery before the Jedi found him, but a couple of years later, his mother died on Tatooine".
"Yeah Skyguy doesn't really like it when anyone mentions Tatooine, that includes me, Obi-Wan, & even Padme" Ahsoka states. "You should go to Tatooine Yugi. If the Force has decreed it, then you must go"
"How do I even get to Tatooine?" Yugi asks "I don't have a ship and I don't have the ability to summon one of my stronger monsters right now. I don't even know if any of my monsters can really survive space".
"You can borrow my ship Yugi" Padme interjects before Ahsoka can say anything else "My ship already has Tatooine programmed into its database and can get you there fairly quickly. I'll have one of my handmaidens send the ship to the Jedi ship is something you cannot miss as it is fairly long and shining silver. "
Yugi quickly thanks Padme and leaves her home. He takes Ahsoka's speeder and rides off to the Temple. Once he reaches the hangar, Yugi sees Padme's ship and one of her handmaidens standing by.
"You must be Yugi correct?" the handmaiden asks to which Yugi nods to "My name is Sabe' "
"She certainly looks like Padme, doesn't she Yami" Yugi says to his 3,000 year old counterpart
"Indeed she does. Perhaps she is Padme's twin sister?" Yami replies back
"I kindly ask you to not damage Ms. Padme's ship in anyway as the senator has an important meeting in the morning"
"Wait, Padme is a senator?" Yugi says in bafflement. He for one was very surprised, as well as Yami. They wouldn't have expected someone like Padme to be senator. In their eyes, she seemed so peaceful & well mannered and didn't seem to have the determination & backbone that most senators have.
"Yes, Ms. Padme is a senator & a busy one at that. So I say again, DO NOT DAMAGE THIS SHIP" Sabe' says as she narrows her eyes at Yugi, making him sweat drop before promising not to damage the ship. Yugi then quickly thanks Sabe' & boards the ship, he turns on the engine and flies out of the hangar into the busy skies or Coruscant.
Once Yugi gets past the busy skies & makes his way into space. He sets the ship's autopilot on & lets the ship guide him to Tatooine.
"Yugi" Yami asks
"Yeah Pharaoh?"
"The item the Force wants us to find...Could it be a Millennium Item?"
"I don't know Pharaoh. It shouldn't be possible. After all the only item to come through Kaiba's portal was our Puzzle, but maybe since the Egyptian Gods came with us, that inturn made the items come as well".
"If it is a Millennium Item….Then the war Ahsoka & the others have been fighting has now gotten more dangerous than they could've possibly imagined".
The ship finally arrives out of hyperspace & arrives at the sandy, desert planet of Tatooine. Once the ship finally lands, Yugi notes how this planet is very much similar to Egypt. The blue-clothed Jedi then begins to walk aimlessly throughout the desert, looking for a sign of a Millennium Item. He seemed to be searching for what felt like hours before finding a little cave and sitting in it to relax.
"We've been walking around for ages Pharaoh & we haven't found anything so far. Do you think the Force was wrong?" Yugi says while massaging his feet from walking
"Be patient Yugi...Like the Jedi say, The Force works in mysterious way" Yami replies
As the Pharaoh says this, Yugi hears the Force whisper "Farther….Cave….Go". Yugi, at first reluctant, heeds the Force's words and walks farther into the cave. He continues to walk into the cave before...falling off the side of a cliff in the cave!
"AHHHHHHHH" Yugi says as he falls into the darkness below and lands with a solid thud on the ground.
"Yugi, are you ok?" Yami asks in concern for his hikari
"Yeah, I'm fine Pharaoh" Yugi says while rubbing his sides "Where are we anyways?"
"I'm not quite sure, but it seems like we're in some sort of chamber"
"Well, I guess we'll just have to explore" Yugi says as he pulls out his lightsaber and ignites the blue side to help guide him along the way.
The young Jedi once again seemed to be walking around for what felt like ages before the Force whispered to him again "Forward...Go...Item". Yugi then heeds the Force's words and walks forward into an empty room with a light shining above on a rock. Yugi walks towards the rock & gasps at what he has discovered.
"Yugi….Is that what I think it is" Yami asks in pure shock
"Yes...It is exactly what you think it is" Yugi replies back as he picks up the item from the stone.
Inside this chamber, the Force had guided both Yugi & Yami to one of the Millennium Items….
THE MILLENNIUM EYE.
