Sinon and Talken sat there talking, as Sinon had invited Talken to. "By the way, how did you even get an apartment in Selmburg? They're extremely expensive,"Talken asked. Sinon blushed at that. "Actually, I don't own this place. This was where Asuna lived before she moved to the 22nd floor Log House. Asuna offered this to me a week after the 100th floor incident, since I still had not place to stay,"Sinon admitted. "Yeah, Asuna's a great friend. You are an even nicer person,"Talken commented. They fell silent, thinking about everything that had happened today.
"I've had to face that fear over and over again now,"Sinon whispered, admitting. Talken sighed, "There are some fears that never go away. For example, mine is talking to girls." Sinon's eyes go wide and she asks, "Really? I would think you're really smooth with girls." "Yeah, somehow I feel brave when I'm around you,"Talken answered without missing a beat, then realizing what he said, looked down at his shoes bashedly. Finally he added, "You're amazing, you know that right?" Sinon finally looked up, seeing him looking at his shoes. The Sinon side suddenly came out.
Sinon stood up, walked over to Talken, kneeling down, and placing a hand under his chin so he had to look at her. "You know, it always seemed to me that there were two sides of me. The Sinon side, and the Shino Asada. Right now, Shino Asada would have done the same thing. But sometimes I'm glad that teh 100th floor incident happened, because right now, I can be both, switching between. I can be bashful or brave. Somehow it seems everytime I'm around you I always feel brave,"Sinon said, expressing her feelings, then leaned in and kissed a very bashful and surprised Talken.

As Lisbeth walked in the streets, she watched Klein walk ahead of her, and realized she never paid him back for that night at the Inn, nor the breakfast. She ran to catch up and then said, "I owe you a meal for that time at the bar." She walked off, expecting Klein to follow, but after a few seconds, she still hadn't heard him move, she stopped and turned around. "Why are you just standing there?"Lisbeth asked. "I don't know Lisbeth. I'm really confused. What is going on between us?"Klein asked. "Well I don't know! You're the one who started it! Tell me what we are!" Klein was about to retort that he flirted with every girl, even Asuna once or twice, but then closed his mouth again.
Klein had made up his mind finally. He'd finally gotten a girl to say yes, and he wasn't going to let her go so easily, even if she was seven years younger than him. He grabbed her hand and teleported to the 48th floor, then fell into a full sprint, pulling Lisbeth along, not stopping until he got into her shop. "What is wrong with you, Klein?!"Lisbeth yelled, finally able to wrench her hand from his. Klein pulled out his silver khatana. Then he asked, "Lisbeth, can you make rings?" Lisbeth blinked, surprised, but nodded. Klein nodded, then he gave her his sword, and then knelt on both knees, and in his heart, he hoped that he was doing this right. "Lisbeth, you're the first girl that's ever said yes to me, you know that right?"Klein asked. Then he continued, "I don't have an engagment ring to give you. I'm too poor. I don't have wedding rings either. But I have my sword. Melt it and make rings of them. I can buy another cheapers swored. Marry me." Lisbeth stared at him, mouth open.

Asuna and Kirito ushered Yui into what used to be the storage room, which was now her bedroom, and tucked her in, as Midori went to sleep in their room. They sat there holding Yui's hands for a while before she fell asleep. Kirito pulled her covers up to her chin, and Asuna kissed her forehead, before they walked out and sat down on the couch. They had just arrived home, and hadn't even had time to change or eat dinner.
After a while of sitting there just relaxing, with Kirito's left arm around Asuna, she looked up and said, "Kirito, about how far along am I?" "Hmm?"he replied, "Ergh, almost three months." "Kirito, I was thinking... maybe we could give our positions to somebody else and settle down and make the Institution you talked about. We could still be part of the front lines as well, just not Commander and Vice Commander. And, we need to plan for the baby, because we have no room for a new addition,"Asuna explained, telling him her worries. Kirito smiled, pushing playing with a strand of her hair as he answered, "Yeah. I guess I'm tired too. But that doesn't mean we have to move out of here. We can still be in the front lines while we work on the Institute. I was thinking that since we right now, the floor to the roof is all one space, we could add something in between and separate it so it becomes an attic, and add two rooms up there." Asuna smiled up at him, and nodded. Even the best fighters had to rest once in a while, and settle down eventually.
