The Serpent, with all its head, glared at the Hallow, it appeared more terrific than the latter. Harry directed his wand towards the Hallow, leading the Serpent's eyes to glow in red, and Serpent form got dissociated to form densely packed magical clouds around the Hallow.
A loud screeching noise came suddenly from the clouds, which appeared like a baby scream.
"Don't let your focus go Harry. It is trying to confuse you." Yelled Hermione.
But she was too late, and the Hallow used the deviation to break apart the charm and turned towards its caster, Harry Potter.
Before Harry could defend, his wand got repelled away from his hand, and he was floating in mid-air with his full body immovable, trying hard to breathe due to suffocation.
"Harry" Hermione screamed, and her wand raised unconsciously, like a magnet towards the Hallow, and there was a sudden, blinding flash of blue light.
Once everything became visible again, Harry was lying down unconsciously, and an old man was lying some distance apart from him. Hermione was still pointing her wand towards the same position, and she fell down to her knees, with a deep sigh, after giving a look at Harry Potter.
"Renervate" said McGonagall pointing her wand towards Harry. Harry wakes up with a sudden gasp.
"You are not supposed to get a normal day at Hogwarts, Mr Potter," Said McGonagall with her sweet smile.
"Maybe I'm jinxed, Professor" replied Harry with his usual wit.
Albus and James had already reached there. Some moments later Hermione along with Rose joined them. Remaining students were lead back to their dormitories, by their perfects.
"I'm alright. You can return to your dormitories. Congratulations Albus, be a brave Gryffindor, son. Oh! How could I fail to notice my loyal Hufflepuff? Congratulations Rossie dear." Said Harry with a smile.
"Harry, I thought for a moment..." Hermione stopped for a moment and hugged him. She was sobbing and struggled to hide her tears.
"But you saved me and Hogwarts, once again. Seriously, you could've done this in the first place." Said Harry mockingly.
"A mirage of delusion. It's the last and worst way to solve a problem. An inexperienced practitioner could've driven, himself and every other people in this hall, into insane and irreversible madness. The strongest form of confundus charm." Suddenly Hermione's voice attained a serious tone as if she was reminded of a serious offence.
"That's why we have you, the honourable and wise minister of magic. And actually, no magic could've made you more insane, than the current level."
Once Harry finished speaking, everyone exploded into laughter, even McGonagall. But Hermione doesn't laugh.
"Miss Granger you've got to relax. Don't be so rude, with these jokes." said McGonagall.
"It is not about the joke. Actually, we are unaware of the skimpy pieces of facts." Continued Hermione after a deep sigh and bellowed.
"I DON'T CONJURE THE MIRAGE OF DELUSION. IT WAS SOMEONE ELSE, WHO I DON'T KNOW WHO"
Everyone became silent for once. Harry's eyes widened in wonder.
