Email Session #6
At the Dubai Airport Lounge…
When Asuka woke up from her long slumber at the G Corp Barracks, there was a note that was slipped under the door. It was from Bruce. It turns out it was a letter of apology and goodbye. He would find Lucky Chloe and try to figure things out in case Kazuya was victorious against his father. So he gave instructions on obtaining a plane ticket back to Japan if she really needed it. Asuka actually felt a little better that Bruce would do this gesture for her. Asuka had no reason to stick around G Corp anymore, so she took whatever belongings she had and got a Lyft driver over to her location so that way she can reach the airport.
Inside an internet outdoor lounge…
Asuka found a quiet spot overlooking Terminal B of Dubai's Airport since her plane would not arrive until nightfall. So she pulled out her laptop and placed it on the table as she sipped on a slushie drink. Of course, Asuka had several emails pop up due to her absence. She even got one from her father since he never did hear back from her. So she started to answer his email first before any others.
Email #1: "Asuka, it's me your father! You must have lost your phone again! If you don't answer this message within the next 24 hours I am personally going to Japan's Secret Service Office and have them send a search team to find you! I shouldn't worry for that you are a top martial artist but do answer me back! I really mean it!"
Asuka: "Okay! Okay! I'm here! Alright! And I never lost my phone! I just kept it off all of this time! I hope you are happy to know that I plan to head back to Osaka now that the tournament is cancelled. So just don't call the government to come find me please! I'll explain everything when I get back alright?"
Email #2: "Yo Asuka! How is life lately! Good luck in the elimination rounds!"
Asuka: "How is life? Like a b*tch! That's how. And I hope you heard about the tournament status by now dude."
Email #3: "What are your thoughts about the tournament getting cancelled?"
Asuka: "I'm mad as f*ck about it! I mean how could Heihachi just cancel the tournament so suddenly like that? What was the point of even hosting the event? I know the world is all screwed up because of the feud, but this is a slap in the face to rest of the competitors!"
Email #4: "Sorry to hear about the tournament. Aren't you supposed to fight Yoshimitsu in the first elimination round?"
Asuka: "Yeah, but it doesn't matter now."
Email #5: "Did you see Lili's fight against Master Raven the other night. Lili got beat so easily. I hope you don't cross paths with that ninja lady. She's good!"
Asuka: "No, but I'm not surprised Lili lost. I won't lose to any ninja! Kazamas are ninja proof!"
Email #6: "Osaka has seen a spike in crime in recent days. How soon are you planning to come home and clean up the streets again?"
Asuka: "I'm coming home tomorrow, but don't go telling everybody ok? I'm just one person. I plan to visit my dad and then if any gang creeps try anything stupid around us then of course they will get whopped by yours truly! ; )."
Email #7: "There are rumors going around that Ling Xiaoyu has been missing since her final preliminary match. Do you know where she could be at this time?"
Asuka: "She went missing? Well I hope she is okay. Ling is a tough girl despite how she looks so I would not worry too much about her disappearance."
Email #8: "If you wan to Asuka you can punch me in the face if you are wanting something to hit after the tournament announcement."
Askua: "Eh…are you feeling okay. I ain't gotta punch you but I am upset about this announcement. No lie."
Email #9: "Did you ever fight Feng Wei in this tournament?"
Asuka: "No and I wished I did because I still haven't given him the punishment he deserves!"
Email #10: "Are you ready to do live chats at some point?"
Asuka: "Whenever this BS is over, then maybe."
Email #11: "How mad are you that Heihachi ended the tournament?"
Asuka: "Dude! I am ready to punch a hole through his chest! And I should do the same to Kazuya or Jin. Assuming Jin acts crazy again!"
Email #12: "How much money do you make off these tournament fights?"
Asuka: "Well if you win, the Zaibatsu will give you check for travel expenses. Its just enough to get by for maybe 4 or 5 days so sometimes I have to watch how much I spend. I can save thousands of yen by eating cheaper food and staying in decent hotels instead of the super fancy ones that Lili and people like her stay in all the time. So winning fights helps out a lot."
Email #13: "Why don't you answer emails compared the rest of the girls in the tournament?"
Asuka: "Maybe because I'm busy?"
Email #14: "Watch out for Kazumi! That woman is very dangerous! She has been destroying G Corp and Zaibatsu facilities everywhere she goes! Just a heads up!"
Asuka: "I'll keep that in mind. I have seen her fight in person before, so I know she is powerful. I might be the one to stop her from destroying the world."
Email #15: "How many foreign languages can you speak Asuka?"
Asuka: "How many? I know some English and a little French because of my encounters with Lili, but nothing else."
Email #16: "Where are you right now? When is the next webcam?"
Asuka: "I'm on my way back to Osaka. I dunno when I'm doing a webcam. Sorry."
Email #17: "I think you should do modeling. You have one of the best rear ends in the tournament. I swear!"
Asuka: "Again with these suggestions? How about I serve you a knuckle sandwich!"
Email #18: "What was the most embarrassing to ever happen to you in the tournaments?"
Asuka: "Aw man. I don't even know if I should tell it. And this happened outside the fights. At my debut tournament, that creep Hwoarang pulled down my pants before my fight against that Marshall Law guy back in America. That made me so mad! I nearly fought him instead, but the officials stopped me! F*ck him!"
Email #19: "Heard your cousin Jin recently lost a match against Miguel. Jin looks disinteresting in fighting to me. Did you see that match?"
Asuka: "No I haven't had the chance. Jin wouldn't lose to a nobody unless something was bothering him. That is probably what happened."
Email #20: "Do you think it's a good idea to have the Tekken girls stay together in a house for 1 week. What do you think can happen if given an opportunity to do so?"
Asuka: "Ehhhh. I don't like that idea. There would be so many fights between us it wouldn't even be enjoyable. If its just I dunno, maybe Xiaoyu and her friends then I'd be fine with it. Anybody else is questionable to me. So I'll pass."
Email #21: "Could you imagine doing a live stream with Lili? You two would argue, curse, and fight each other every time when you both get on the air together. It would be must see video!"
Asuka: "Well I don't want to! She really should leave me alone! I dunno why you people want me to be buddies with her so badly!"
Email #22: "Are you gonna play the new Super Mario game coming out next month?"
Asuka: "Really? There is a new one? What kind of Mario game?"
Email #23: "You fought Jin earlier in the tournament? Has he treated you any better since then?"
Asuka: "Sort of. Well I haven't heard from him since we left Nagoya about a month ago. I really should find out where he is. I know he has to be pissed about the tournament getting cancelled."
Email #24: "Do you know when you will be fighting Yoshimitsu?"
Asuka: "No. It doesn't matter now the tournament is already over. Freakin' Heihachi!"
Email #25: "What has been your favorite place to fight so far Asuka? Like what was the most memorable atmosphere for you?"
Asuka: "My favorite place to fight? Well obviously I liked fighting at the Tokyo Dome because it is in Japan, but I guess outside the country I liked the setting when I re encountered Feng Wei in England at night time. Too bad he embarrassed me that night."
Email #26: "Who is one opponent you have not fought yet, but would like to fight in the future?"
Asuka: "Ehh…I will have to think about that one. Oh wait. Never mind. I would fight Heihachi for cancelling this tournament!"
Email #27: "Can you do splits like Lili can?"
Asuka: "No, but I can kick high. Just not like her."
Email #28: "Do you think Jin will take over the Zaibatsu if Kazuya kills Heihachi?"
Asuka: "No he won't because I'm gonna be there to smash his skull if he does! The Zaibatsu should end with Heihachi gone! I can take care of Kazuya too if he gets out of control!"
Email #29: "My little girl is a big fan of yours. Think you can give us an autograph when you get a chance? We would be so grateful if you did that Asuka. Thank you!"
Asuka: "Sure! No problem." (Pastes the Signature Photo in her response)"
Email #30: "Is your father's dojo taking in students?"
Asuka: "Not right now. He would tell me if he did resume taking students."
Just then, a voice call for Asuka's flight is announced…
Asuka: "It's almost time to go. Well, here I come."
Asuka shuts down her laptop and grabbed her backpack so she could leave from her table. She had a lot to think about during her walk to the gate. Was her dad going to keep her home for being out yet again? What would she even do after the eventual fight between Kazuya and Heihachi? Then there was that lady Kazumi? What would she do at this point in time? Asuka had no way to contact Jin. She never could get a hold of him. The next couple of days would reveal all the answers for Asuka.
