Chapter 7: Starshine Festival Part 2, Return of the Sailor Scouts!:
Day 2 of the Starshine Festival dawned and the Oliver family went to the fairgrounds. While they didn't do much the first day due to Yolei and the battle with Zeltrax, they planned to pack in as much fun as they could. Each member of the family including Eijirou had plenty of cash. As well as a debit card if need be. Pluto with some aid from Anton Mercer, Andrew Hartford, and Mr. Collins created merchandise of the Legionaires. Some of which would be available at the Festival.
Walking around munching on cotton candy Eijirou chuckled as he saw a little boy playing Legionaires with his friends. One proclaiming himself Red Riot making the red haired hero happy. He idly wondered if this was what Pro's back home felt like seeing children on the street. Eijirou since he came to the Oliver home, felt a sense of home and happiness. And it baffled him! Denki had expressed he the fact he felt the same at the Scott home. Which made no sense to them. Unless...this was their original birthplace and they were sent to Heroes Valhalla. Eijirou pondered it for a moment finishing his cotton candy. He threw the stick into a garbage can and caught up with his family.
Rin looked at the Legion's merchandise in both amusement and intrigue. Eventually deciding to buy one of the figurines of Chargebolt and Light Hope together. Rin bought it because she honestly thought Chargebolt and Light Hope were a cute couple. Len bought one of just Light Hope. It was odd because no one knew who these Legionaires were out of uniform. Well as far as Rin knew. Len knew who they were. Along with the Oliver's, Scott's, Pluto of course, Ken, and Doctor Grayson. Ken and Len both acted as informants about situations in Japan.
While also handling collecting evidence for a case Demiyah had recently been handed as head of all Police around the world. Captain Stone recently discovered it. When confronting the chief at the time, he was repulsed to discover, because the parents of the missing child were teenagers, the case was swept under a rug. And the mother went missing shortly after turning eighteen! She was a legal adult! So the chief went against protocol not once but twice and got away with it! Stone was furious. The chief tried to confiscate the file but he handed it directly to Officer Jack Landers of Space Patrol Delta with orders to hand it over to Supreme Commander Demiyah Oliver. Birdie might think he was the over all commander of SPD and if they didn't have a branch on Earth he would be. But instead, Demiyah was in charge. Because any and ALL police organizations including SPD fell under her jurisdiction as Cyber Mysic Rescue 7. Demiyah was feeling a little stressed since there was a missing person's case and a kidnapping case report filed by her uncle Rocky! All he had to contribute were a couple of pictures of his fiancée Sharon Firus and their son Tyson DeSantos. Demiyah made a note to ask Ken to see if he could snag one of Taichi's baby pictures from the Kamiya's and a more recent picture as well. It would be a while before she would crack the case. As she will have discovered something sickening a couple days after the Festival.
Demiyah was walking through the Festival grounds with Jasper, Lapis, and Peridot. Sailor Pluto in her civilian identity Trista Matthews walked up with a familiar pink haired girl with amber eyes instead of red from when Darien was her dad. Drmiyah squealed seeing her little Moon Bunny. "Rini!" The Legionaires looked up to see their leader happily hugging a pink haired girl. Eijirou said, "Dude, it looks like someone showed us the love child between Demiyah and Denki!" Rini said, "So you already know who my parents are?" Denki was blushing like mad while Jake, Danny, Ichigo, and Chris were howling. Rini said, "Laugh it up. My friends, the second gen Legionaires will show up eventually. Your future kids." Which got everyone shutting up. Rini said, "Formally introducing myself. My name is Serena Elpis Kaminari-Scott. I go by Rini for short. Future daughter of Demiyah Serena Oliver and Denki Billy Kaminari-Scott. I'm the oldest girl of a family of ten kids five of each. I will say this mom, you might want to check in with your online science sib Double L Down. She's got something big to share with you and grandpa Kasai. Since you were two when grandma Natsumi and auntie Juniper died and grandpa Kasai lost his memory. It'll be a shock. Trust me on that." Looking at Trista she said, "Dare I ask?" Trista said, "I'll confirm everything after you find out my lady. But it will be upsetting for all parties." Denki asked, "I have to ask, why did you introduce yourself as Kaminari-Scott?" Rini replied, "Dad, look into trans-dimensional portals designed to hide someone in a one way trip. Then get a DNA test compared to Jason and Kat. While Eijirou has one compared to Grandpa Tommy and Grandma Kimberly done. Uncle Eijirou's results will put a thought as to why the two of you feel more comfortable here compared to your original World. It can also solve the two other kidnapping cases caused by Zedd and Rita years ago."
Taichi walked up to Demiyah and her group saying, "Miya I wanted to introduce you to Marcus Damon, Keenan Crier, Thomas Nordstien, and Yoshino Fujieda. They were forced or tricked into becoming part of the Digital Accident Tatical Squad. Hashima reported the Organization once he had sufficent evidence against them. Kurata is a wanted man internationally. Mrs. Damon was irritated but Mr. Damon took down 150 of Kurata's men during a raid SPD did rather recently." Demiyah said, "First off, I would like to publicly apologize for what you were forced to do. Second of all, I'm glad you were helped out before the Biohybrid fisco went out of control. Lastly, if you have questions about the Digital World division of the Power Rangers you can ask me or Email me. I did make some booklets for new Destineds that I want to make standard practice to hand out when the alert comes over the network. Mostly what I learned about the Digital World and what I discovered about the Digivices and bonds between human and Digimon."
Thomas flipped through it and was amazed at what he saw. "DATS never told us this! How many human and Digimon pairs did we forcibly break apart?" Marcus commented, "DATS lied to us Thomas. Not surprising considering the circumstances." Keenan said, "Frigimon told me stories of you. How you were a hero. Always did what could for Digimon as if you were Digimon. Why?" Demiyah replied, "Because as a Digidestined I was chosen to be more than a soldier for a war. I was selected to be someone to bring Hope for the Digital World. It was my job to be someone all Digimon could count on even if they were just having a bad day. Being a Digidestined means your part of something bigger than just yourself. It means you act as a bridge between Humans and Digimon. Knowing both Worlds and protecting both. Just like how the Power Rangers protect the whole Universe not just Earth. Despite most modern Rangers being from Earth." The other Generations heard the Second Genration leader give her speech. They had to hand it to her. Demiyah knew what being a Digidestined meant. They even looked through the booklets she had written. Most were shocked at the discoveries. Koushiro was impressed she went as far as she did to make things easier for later groups of Digidestined. Setting up forums, websites, even areas to help their Digimon accimilate to the Human World such as education centers and training centers! Demiyah walked away from the Digidestined after meeting each of the other groups and getting contact information for each of them. It was nice to be sort of close. Gennai appeared trying to get Demiyah to return to Japan following the Alphamon issue, but Demiyah due to her status as one of Pluto's group he couldn't legally do anything. And he and his fellow Guardians had to file damage reports due to them hacking and changing many rescue organizations mainframes to have nothing of the Digital World's interactions on file.
Gennai said, "We were trying to protect the Digital World from being colonized!" Demiyah said, "I may have believed that if it was a rogue government server. But you messed with Organizations I run Gennai. If not for the fact I have backups on a seperate server, you would be in for a mountain of trouble. Those Organizations are Power Rangers based. Above the law when it comes to saving the World. According to the Power Rangers Act of 2000 and the Equal Rights Act of 2004 what you did could be considered acts of terrorism. Since those Organizations are for helping newly fledged Destineds and reconstruction efforts after Major attacks on Earth following issues like what happened when Myotismon invaded Earth or the Quartzmon incident. I've been running both a financial and rescue empire for the benefit of the Digital World. All these programs and Organizations for the benefit of both Worlds. Then you so called Guardians show up and decided you know better than those who have defended the ENTIRE UNIVERSE before you were created. You set the latest projects back at least six to ten months. Further more you conviently forgot the Sovereigns were originally partner digimon themselves! Then an evil sociopath I am unfortunately, well aquainted with his antics, corrupted the partner of my Uncle Leo Corbett into hating humans! By the Cosmos Gennai! Your worse than the idiot wand wavers in Britain! I swear you remind of a very delusional old man who resembles a goat. Now if you'll excuse me. I have to meet my female friends. We're taking part in a music contest here at the Festival. Then I have to meet with Queen Rita of the Mystic Realm. She wanted to discuss some business before the sign up for the Starshine Princess competition."
Demiyah stalked off meeting Trista, Rini, and seven other girls. A blue eyed blonde who wore a red ribbon in her hair, a violet eyed ravenette, a blue haired and eyed girl, a girl with purple tinted black hair and violet eyes, a girl with short blonde hair and hazel eyes, a girl with brown hair and green eyes, and a girl with teal hair and blue eyes. These seven girls were Mina Andrews, Rayanne Hinton, Amy Anderson, Hailey Tomoe, Amara Tanner, Lita Kingston, and Michelle Kyle. These girls were a local girl group called the Crystal Stars. An inside joke considering what they had learned when three Scouts visited from outside their system. These nine young women were also the heroes the Sailor Scouts. Trista is Sailor Pluto, Michelle is Sailor Neptune, Amara is Sailor Uranus, Hailey is Sailor Saturn, Mina is Sailor Venus, Lita is Sailor Jupiter, Rayanne is Sailor Mars, Amy is Sailor Mercury, and Demiyah is their leader Sailor Moon. As she is Rini's mother in the future this makes Rini Sailor Mini Moon. The girls werepreparing to go on stage for some fun. Yamato did a fair job on his turn. Then the Crystal Stars took the stage.

Yamato was shocked at how skilled Demiyah was of a musician. Her voice was bright and loving. The song her group did conveyed love, family, and happiness. It was shocking that she would talk of positive things. But he usually went for issue songs. Maybe that's why his band wasn't as popular.
The MC went up and said, "The winner of the competition is...The Crystal Stars!" Demiyah and her group went up to the stage and claimed their prizes.
Demiyah met with Queen Rita who said, "After the Starshine Princess contest on the third day I would like to Knight your friends at the festival." Demiyah said, "That would be wonderful!" Rita chuckled, "Your Legionaire companions deserve it. They are true friends and give you the support and love you need."
Demiyah after signing up for the Starshine Princess contest, Sighed. While beauty pagents weren't her thing, she would do them for the scholarships offered. Mostly because while it was possible to get a sponsor for certain programs in Silver Guardian Academy's college level, it was easier if you got college scholarships. Besides, it was nice to have something she liked without hearing Yolei complain about it. Even she had some respect for beauty pagent contestants. however, when she went to find her friends or family members she heard an explosion towards the center of the festival.
Demiyah ran to the source of the explosion and saw a very familiar man. "Of course. Malachite. Wish I could say it was nice to see you again. But I would be lying." The entire city was watching. Either in person or on television. Since the reveal of the Green and Pink Rangers yesterday captured by a reporter looking to interview Demiyah and Len it came as a shock. However, the people of Reefside were getting and even bigger shock today. Demiyah pulled out her broach and called out, "Moon Spirit Crystal Power!" A bright flash of white light encased the raspberry haired girl. When it died down there she stood in her new Sailor Scout uniform only without the armor. The people of Reefside were shocked silent the kind hearted Demiyah Oliver had been their Magical Girl protector?! The shock continued as eight others stepped up holding wands and calling out their own Phrases.

Low and behold standing next to their leader in white, silver, and galaxy blue were her companions and sisters in arms, the Sailor Scouts. Warriors and heroes who defended their planet from Darkness. The nine warriors were giving everything they had. But a combined attack was what ended the shadow creature.
Yamato walked over to Demiyah and said, "Demiyah, I want to apologize for what I did back then. You inherited my Crest and what I did was messed up. Any chance we could start over?" Demiyah smirked as a upbeat funky sort of tune started to play.

All in all day two of the Festival wrapped up with a major surprise. But it also showed that no matter what, there would always be people who would protect their planet with everything they have. Before heading back to the hotel Yamato asked, "Hey Demiyah, what do you think will happen on the final day of the Festival?" Demiyah chuckled, "One never knows Yamato. One never knows."
