LATER THAT DAY

Addison got in her swimsuit, she pulled a summer dress over it, and headed out to meet up with Wyatt.

When they arrived, paused to look at the scene."You coming snow? Wyatt hollered from below."

"I'm coming." she hollered back with a giggle, hopping down to the lake. Down at the lake, Wyatt took off his shirt, and Addison slipped off her dress, Wyatt treads into the water first getting about waist deep then looking back to Addison who was dipping her toe into the water for testing

"It's not too cold snow, you coming in?"

She smiles, and nods, slowly easing into the water, She was about knee-deep when Wyatt splashes her with the cool water, She gasps wide-eyed "WYATT!" Forgetting adjusting to the water, Addison dove into the water and tackled Wyatt, he splashed her back and she squealed, they swam around exchanging splashes, diving under the water to avoid the others' splash.

"Hey snow follow me."

"Okay?"

They walked up the trail back through the trees, to an opening above the on the branch was a rope to swing from into the water.

Wyatt took hold of the rope "You want to swing?" Addison bit her lip as she took a step back "I'm actually afraid of heights, just a bit"

She shivered slightly rubbing her hand along her arm for warmth, "but I am ready to get back in the water so I guess I can try"

"What if we swung together would that make it any better?"

"Maybe." He grabs her hand guiding to the rope as she steps on the bottom knot, her heart beginning to pound.

Wyatt's hand rested on her hips holding her,

"Are you ready?" he asked she let out a heavy breath "as ready as I'll ever be"

As he let go they swung in the air, and Wyatt let go splashing into the water, Addison clung on to the rope still.

"You've got to let go snow"

"Not happening" she shouted

I can catch you, just pretend that it's cheer practice"

"I don't know wolfy"

"Trust me, I promise to catch you"

"Okay" she took a deep breath and let go, Wyatt caught her and they both went under the water. Coming up from underwater, Addison squealed with delight

"That was so much fun, thank you!"

"Anytime snow"

She rested her forehead against his, They were so close, all she wanted was to close that gap between, her eyes flickered to his lips, then back up at him and back to his lips once more. She silently took in a breath and closed the gap connecting her lips with his. In shock Wyatt didn't respond to the kiss, then he slowly kissed back, Addison wrapped her legs around his waist and arms around his neck deepening the kiss, Wyatt glided his hands down her moving them along the curves of her waist down to her hips, and down her thighs where he comes to a stop, and pulls away. Calming the inner wolf, still slightly out of breath he says,

"Addison, we can't do this"

She shakes her head in confusion and began to ramble an apology "I'm sorry Wyatt, I don't even know what happened, we were fine then there was this feeling like I was being drawn to you and then I kissed you and, I don't know I can't explain it,"

It's fine addy, stuff happens," he smirks and splashes her, she scowls narrowing her eyes at him before tackling him into the water, which he goes under…..

At 10:00 pm Addison gets home, exhausted but happy she got showered, dress, and went to bed dreaming of the kiss she shared with Wyatt
