Part 8

Caitlin smiled as she watched Alex and a blond head over to their table. She was at a table with Barry, Cisco Ramon, Ronnie who had just gotten back from Starling. Iris West and her boyfriend Eddie Thawne.

"So glad that you could make it. I'm Caitlin. That is Cisco, Iris, Eddie, Ronnie and this loveable dork is my boyfriend Barry." Said Caitlin wrapping her arms around Barry.

"Nice to meet all of you. I'm Alex and this is my sister Kara." Said Alex

"Kara, I think I have seen you before. You ever get pot stickers from that Chinese place on 7th and Elm?" asked Barry

"Yeah. I mean they have some of the best in the city. Much better then I ones I use to get in Midvale." Said Kara

"If you are ever in Starling City you should try the ones at the Green Panda." Said Ronnie

"You're from Starling?" asked Alex

"Cait is too." Said Barry

Caitlin shot him a look that said to shut up. Other than Ronnie no one else knew much about her past. Or where she grew up. No one sure as hell knew that she was the stepdaughter of one of the richest men in the country.

"Caitlin, I didn't know you were from Starling." Said Iris

"Uh yeah. Most of my family is still there. My mom, stepfather, stepsister and my stepbrother just moved back there a couple months ago." Said Caitlin

"Where was your stepbrother before that?" asked Eddie

"Overseas. That is why I went home back then to see him. I hadn't seen him since he had gone overseas."

"Yeah Cait really missed him. They got close before he left." Said Barry

"So Caitlin you ever going to tell me anyone in your family's names? Cause you have never brought up their names." Said Cisco

Caitlin bit her lip. She knew Cisco was right. She never referred to anyone by name in her family. Not even any of her friends. She was not ashamed of any of them. But she did like to keep her personal life to herself.

"Cisco why is that so important to you?" asked Caitlin

"We are friends. I thought that I was one of your best friends." Said Cisco

"You are Cisco. I just like to keep my family separate from everything. Barry hasn't even met my family."

"Well one member but he seems to like to keep a tight lid on that too." Whispered Barry

Caitlin leaned over and kissed Barry. They spent the rest of the night talking and enjoying each others company. Later when they were leaving Ronnie pulled Caitlin a side.

"Cait, your mom and Uncle Robert are hoping that you will come home for Thanksgiving. They want the whole family together."

"Yeah I know. Mom told me. I am thinking about it."

"Good. You know my sister Jesse would be happy to see you. She looks up to you."

"I know. Maybe I will see if Barry wants to come and meet everyone."

"You really love him don't you? You never let any guy you dated meet the family."

"I do love him Ronnie. I think he is the one."

"I am happy for you."

"Thanks Ronnie."

"Cait, when are you going to believe that I see you as much as my cousin as Oliver and Thea?"

"I am beginning to."

Ronnie gave Caitlin a hug and she headed back to her apartment with Barry.

Oliver laid in the backseat of Felicity's car waiting for her. He had just been shot by his own mother. He had paid her a visit as the vigilante. She had shot him. He had barely made it the three blocks from Merlyn Global where she was a vice president of the company. Felicity got in her car and let out a soft scream.

"I didn't do anything please don't hurt me."

"I'm not going to hurt you Felicity."

"You know my name. How do you know my name?"

"Because you know mine."

It was then Felicity recognized him.

"Oliver? Oh my god you have been shot. You need me to take you to the hospital?"

"No take me to my father old steel factory in the Glades. I can't go to the hospital. Too many questions. Please Felicity."

Felicity finally agreed and drove to the old factory. When they arrived she followed Oliver's institutions and went down to the bunker. She found Diggle there and the two of them got Oliver got down there where Diggle patched Oliver up. Oliver was unconscious and Felicity sat with Diggle waiting for Oliver to wake up. When Oliver woke up he thanked Felicity for her help and offered to let her join the team.

"Let's be clear. Who knows that you are the vigilante Oliver?"

"Only the people in this room. Plus my sister Caitlin. She is not happy about keeping it a secret from the guy she is dating."

"Who is she dating?" asked Diggle

"Some guy that works at CCPD as a CSI. Barry Allen I think."

Oliver watched as Felicity started to type away at one of the computers.

"Ok his full name is Bartholomew Henry Allen. He does work as a CSI for Central City PD. His father Dr. Henry Allen is in prison for the murder of Barry's mother Nora Allen. Barry was taken in by CCPD Detective Joe West. Barry who was eleven at the time claimed to see a man in yellow inside a ball of lightning. His father also claimed to see the lighting. But no one believed them."

"You got to admit a man in a ball of lightning is a little farfetched." Said Diggle

"If you only had seen some of the things I have during my time away. That wouldn't be so farfetched. I happen to know that magic is real. Caitlin isn't in any danger from this guy right?" said Oliver

"Nothing more then a possible broken heart if it doesn't work out." Said Felicity

"Good. I would rather not have to kick his butt."

"I don't think your sister wants you to interfere with her relationship." Said Diggle

"Well I am her older brother. It is my job to look out for her."

"Ok if you don't need me any more I am going to go. By the way what are you going to do with this place? I mean the upstairs."

"Working on that. One thing I know we don't need another night club."

"I will let you know if I come up with something."
