The Mythical Knights

Chapter 8

James called Bonnie's mother. Jenny sat with her daughter on the pile of cushions on the floor, with James and Ann Possible. Tara was with sitting next to Kim and Bonnie with a huge smile on her face, she knew what was about to happen.

James and Mary walked in with staff and stood before the women "Mrs. Rockwaller and Mr. and Mrs. Possible! It is good that you are all here, what I am about to tell you might shake your very beliefs, but I need you to remain calm and wait until I am finished!" finished James and the two women nodded, Mary then stood beside her husband and said

"You may come in now," said James, and Benjamin and Pearl Stoppable walked in with Ron. He was wearing a yellow Hanfu that was made up of a knee-length tunic tied with a Red and golden sash, narrow cuffs called a Yi, a narrow knee-length skirt called a Shang and was accompanied by a long piece of fabric that reached the knees called a bixi, and on his head, he wore a golden band or crown.

"There has been an incident where Ron has been exposed to a set of the Monkey Kings' jade idols, along with your daughters are very special, they have the very power of the gods and goddess within them. Ron has been selected by the Monkey King himself and from now on can be classed as cousins. All four of them were chosen to have the knowledge of the gods, Girls, please stand and move to the middle of the floor," The three girls stood and walk to the middle of the floor

"Daughters of Zeus, appear before me!" All three girl glowed, Kim brought he wrist together and became Athena, Bonnie just snapped her fingers and became Artemis, and Tara, she changes into Bastet. "Tara, there was something I was hiding from you," James then rose his staff and dropped the end on the floor and both James and Mary became Zeus and Hera. The new Monkey king then joined the three girls, while Ben and Pearl joined the other parents.

It was the first time that Tara saw her true father and why he knew so much, and by instinct, all three girls kneeled. "Get up you three and join Ronald!" said James, and all three girls stood "We are here to guide you four through your future, there are going to be times that you all will need each other. The gods have chosen us and others so they can live again through you, soon they will be no more and what we do will be their new story, a new chapter in this worlds history. Parents, I pray you are not too scared, but these three girls and Ron will have a different life than the one you planned. They are and will always be your children, but they are also the Children of Zeus and Hera!" finished James

The six then return to normal, then the girl gave their testimony on how they received their statues and power. The parents knew there was something special about their children, for the rest of the day being looked after by the temple's servants and slaves. Soaking in the mineral bath, a receiving message, and enjoying fine meals though out the day. By the time Ann return home with Kim, she was more comfortable as to what the future may hold. Ron and the three girls began training with Sakura, Tara, James, and Mary, even Bonnie's sister would go through the basics to prepare them for their time in the gladiator ring.

With the four working together, they quickly defeated Drakken and his goons again in their mission of the Attack of the Killer Bebes. Thanks to her dad's money, the team would always take something from every mission and store it in an underground volt on Tara's Temple grounds. Three new temples were being built, one for Kim, Bonnie, and Ron, each designed to keep their idols safe

During these missions, the first year of high school was very busy, but something else was happening that had the police very nervous. James knew it was happening and became very worried for the four, a great evil was coming to life and it will be up to the four to stop him.

The first incident or mission the four was needed was on a very rainy night, clouds not only blocking out the moonlight! They were also heavy and dark and low enough to affect the street lights, that night was a night of evil. A body of a woman was found in a witches circle, the body was drained of all it's life-force and was left a dried husk on the ground. All four felt the evil that night, the three goddesses told the three girls that Hades had been released by one of his foolish followers and he needs to be sent back to the underworld.

The next very dark night happen on the week of the mission GWA Pain King and Steeltoe vs the Jackal, that night Kim and Tara fought several Hade's soldiers. It was the day that Kim first met Monique and the day that Kim and Bonnie found out that Monique also loved some things Ron liked. After Jackie Oaks was arrested and the talisman return to the Museum, Tara was the first to meet these soldiers, six Jackal headed beings called Anubis broke Oaks out of jail and had taken him to the park, that was when Hades appeared out of the fires of hell itself and pick him up. "You dare to steal my talisman just to fail in your quest!" Oaks was unable to speak because of fright "Now here is your reward!"

"Drop the frighten little man Hades!" said Tara. Taking her father's advice, Tara wore a full-body tight-fitting catsuit, tail and all instead of changing into Bastet. The bodysuit was made for her with every piece of tech that he could find, it all went into a suit that turns Tara into the Catwoman. Her face was completely covered in a full-faced mask of a cat, that had all the sensors that even the military had. Well, he did share the markets with another company for building arms for the military.

When Tara first started to wear the suit, her father started to tease her, "I can't see a Catwoman, more like a kitten-girl," Sadly though, Tara had to be careful about changing into Bastet of any cat as they were very expensive to build, but his scientist were still working on a new suit call the centurion armor. A prototype suit that would easily retract when she changes from human to cat and back again, but until then! The leather outfit will have to do, she just has to remember not to change.

"Well! Well! Well! If it ain't Bastet little kitten! He has to pay the price of his contract little kitty, ask your goddess, but if you wish to slow me down a little, Kill her boy's" said Hades as he drains the last of Oak's life out of him. Tara began with a back-flip to dodge a khopesh (Egyptian Curved sword) only to remove the creature's hand that was holding the khopesh with one of her swords, while still spinning in the air, the other hand with Tara second sword remove the creatures head, and it turned into dust.

"Well, this is not fair! Six against one!" said Kim

"Fell free to help K!" said Tara as she removes that second creature's head "You need to remove their heads to stop them!"

"On it, T!" and Kim slammed her wrist together, in a flash of light, Kim changed into Athena's battlesuit. But instead of a Toga, Kim wore a bodysuit of white. A golden necklace and chest plate and a golden crown upon her head. In her hands was her own golden khopesh and shield.

"I was hoping you were close by," said Tara

"Well! Tonight will be a night to remember," said Hades as he dropped the dead carcass of Oaks "Athena's little bitch and Bastet Kitten for me to kill!" and he rose his hands, twelve more soldiers appeared.

"I don't think so!" said Tara as she changed into the biggest and meanest black panther Kim ever saw "Great! There goes my suit" angry Tara started taking the heads of the Anubis off with her claws. This was also going to be the first time when Kim used what she had learned, blocking the swings from the soldiers and swing around removing their heads. The two worked great together and had destroyed the last of the Anubis very quickly, Tara as the black panther sook all the dust from her fur and turn to look at Hades as police sirens began to be heard in the distance.

"You two girls have done well for our first contact, but as you can hear! We going to have company," and with that, he opens a portal of fire and walked into it, "I think it's time to leave," and the portal closed behind him.

"Think he is right! Meet you at the temple!" said Tara as she jumps into the darkness, Kim's nodded to the Panther as she turned back to her normal self. The police arrive and talk to Kim, she told the officers that she heard a scream and found what was left of Jackie Oaks. When asked how she knew it was him, Kim handed them his wallet, after a few more hours, the police left the area, Kim left to join Tara at the temple.

The following day, both Bonnie and Ron went to the temple, to find out if what they heard about Tara and Kim was true, yesterday was more than just saving the world stuff! This was supernatural and scary as Ron put it. So the two went by Kim's place to bring her to the temple, Ron pressed the doorbell and waited for a few minutes when Mrs. Dr. P opened the door, "Ronald! Bonnie, it's good to see you two, come on in!"

"Thanks, Mrs. Dr. P, Is Kim here?"

"Sure! I just call her for you," and looked up the stairs and yelled "Kim! Ronald and Bonnie are here to see you!"

"Coming!" she yelled down and the sound of footsteps came down the steps, in the lounge room "What's up Ronnie,"

"We heard what happen last night in the park, I think we should all go to the temple," said Ron,

"I was going to ring you to meet us there, we all have a big problem, Mum! We are all going to Tara's place, talk to you later?"

"Okay sweetie," said Ann, who was also worried as she also heard what happened. At Bastet temple, Tara was in the spa/pool when the three walked into the pool area.

"Tara, we heard you and Kim had a bit of a problem last night?" said Bonnie

"Yes, Kim and I know him as Hades, I think your people call him Lucifer Ron?" said Tara, and Ron nodded his head

"To us Catholics and other Christians he is known as Satan, or the Devil, and the serpent!" finished Bonnie as she started to shake and sat down.

"Bon Bon! You okay?" said Ron as he came over and hugged her

"He is a friend of yours?" said Tara

"Only in my nightmares! But thanks to Artemis and Ronnie who saved me that night," and Bonnie and Ron told Kim and Tara the whole story the night he saved her in the park. "Up unto that night, he used to come to me in my dreams and said if I wanted to be popular, I need to serve him."

"And you refuse him?" said Tara

"And he tried to kill me!" finished Bonnie

"Through your sister?" said Kim finally get why she didn't want to punish them.

"Yes!"

"I think from now on, we all will need to be together when we go on patrol," said Ron

"Yes,"

Two nights later, Athena came to Kim while she was meditating and said. "To stop Hades, you must find and destroy his crown and this would send him back to the underworld," The crown would be disguised and somewhere in the park! in plain sight.

Bastet also came to Tara while she too was meditating and told her the same, Hades crown is in the park, hidden in plain sight. The four began to walk through the park many times to find out where this crown was hidden, there were many statues in the park, and all of them had some sort of crown or headwear and would be hard to one that was out of place. The rest of the year went on the same, every few weeks or two, more bodies were found in the same place and every now and then, the four would fight his jackals' guards, that was until October 31st, the day before Halloween and Hades first defeat.
