With each frail breath after another his heart sunk. He cursed himself constantly, regretting that he only had half demonic powers, half strength and half speed. She started to shiver in his arms so he held her tightly nervously biting his lip and stressed to the outmost max.

ANYTHING... isn't strong enough to heal you...I'm sorry Kagome, because of my recklessness and selfishness Koga was able to take advantage of you, and me showing up in a confused heated up state...it just made the situation worse...but I couldn't, I couldn't just stand there and WATCH as he tried forcefully... taking you...I just couldn't...and because he knew it would've PISSED me off farther he went a step too far and bit you. Kagome reached up and winced. Instead she grabbed a fist full of his robe and closed her eyes. Her ear was right by his accelerated heart. " Why have..." She hissed out " why have you been avoiding me?" He ended up leaping and that caused her to whimper he looked down at her apologetically. Then leaped again tree top to tree top, he couldn't afford to waste anymore time. " Did I...did I do something wrong?"

The demon inside wanted to SCREAM out all the dirty vile things that she did that was driving me completely out of this world. He wanted to whisper in her ear how he fantasized about lowering her to the forest floor and ripping that skin tight short skirt of hers COMPLETELY off in shreds.

Or how he wondered what she tasted like or how the thought made his mouth water.

Or how he pictured himself thrusting animalisticly deep inside her while gripping and suckling on her breast.

He wanted to tell her how EXTREME the lustful frustration was. He wanted to punish her for taunting him, but the human part of him also knew and understood that in all honesty Kagome had NO knowledge that he had feelings for her besides friendship cause...that's basically how he made it seem. She wasn't aware that he loved her, she thought he still harbored feelings for a lost memory. " You did nothing wrong!" he replied his voice thick. " I was the one who was at fault not you" he admitted through tight lips.

She shivered and coughed a little this time blood seeped through her lips.

His throat hitched and fear out ran his train of thought

" I FUCKED UP, I'm more then aware of my stupidity. All this time you thought I still held feelings for Kikyo. You still felt like a stepping stone and a pawn in her image. But Kagome... YOUR NOT. The village was just up the hill he was able to see the elder priestess hut and the villagers.
