Chapter 16 The Road to vengance

"...I didn't go back to the hotel. Charlie would never look at me again. And she would probably try to stop me from doing what needs to be done. That's why I came straight here to you guys. So then... can we get it done?" I asked the founder of I.M.P.

"Heh. Yeah we can, and don't worry... because your now my favorite buddy... this ones on the house." Blitz said.

"Heh. Thanks Blitz." I said as I shook his hand.

"No problem... Mad Max." Blitz said.

"Hey if your going, then so am I." I looked over and saw Loona.

"Loona? Your coming?" Blitz ask.

"After that stunt you pulled off on the news, I kinda got a new level of respect for you."

"Heh, welcome aboard." I said. As I stuck my hand out. She grabbed it and pulled it, to whisper in my ear.

"After this is over, What say we go out sometime?" She said.

Woah... I'm not into furries but for some reason Loona is really attractive.

"Okay then, now where is your armory?"

Later

I was walking with Moxxie as he showed me the armory.

"Okay then, take your pick, we have almost everything." He said. I looked around for a bit and saw something that caught my eye. Two 50 cal Desert eagles.

"... nice." I said.

Later

I was now talking with Millie, about our plan. "Okay here's the plan... prom night is coming up, while everyone is in the gym we'll lock everyone from the inside, the gym connects to the school, and while everyone is inside, that's when we'll make our entrance."

"I like it." Millie said. Then I got a phone call from... Aw shit.

"What the fuck do you want Angie?" I asked.

"What? We can't ask to tag along?" He asked.

"Please like I'd ever let you- wait... What do you mean we?"

"Hehe, meet me at the hotel." Angie said.

"Not a good idea." I said.

"Don't worry about her, just come over." Angie hung up the phone.

"... c'mon, we're going back to the hotel."

Later, Hazbin hotel

I stood outside of the hotel. "I hope your not in the lobby at the moment Charlie." I said.

I walked into the hotel and saw Angel dust... along with Cherri bomb, Octavia and, oh no... Velvet.

"Why'd you call me Angel dust, and what's everyone doing here?" I asked.

"Well, we want in on the action too."

"After what you done to that bitch Katie, you started gaining fans, me included. And since I know you personally, I thought I tag along with ya." Cherri said, I looked over at Octavia.

"Via..."

"Hey... Max." She said.

"Why are you here?"

"I want a shot on that bitch who killed you. Your my friend and I respect you." She said as she put her hand on my shoulder. Then all of a sudden Velvet put a knife to her throat.

"Hey... he's mine." She said.

"Velvet down girl." I said.

"Yes hubby." She said with a bubbly tone.

I looked over at Angie. "How's she doing?"

"I don't know, she must be pretty upset though."

I felt bad. But this needed to be done. Those fuckers has to pay for their sins. And if that means losing the only person who ever treated me so kindly, then so be it.

"... let's go."

Mission briefing

"Okay, we only have 5 days until prom, we have to be ready by then. Now we'll need to find a way to get our targets away from the other students. We don't want any unnecessary blood on our hands. Still... until it's confirmed that our targets are in the gym, nobody goes in, or out."

"What about the teachers?" Moxxie asked.

Max had a flash back of a teacher.

"We'll probably kill one in the process, that damn useless bitch."

"How do you suppose we make our entrance?" Octavia said.

"Still trying to figure that out, it'll come to me." I said. I looked over at everyone in the room. These people are helping me. Something nobody ever did... well maybe one person... Charlie. Ugh... Dammit, I just realized I had nowhere to go and sleep. I needed to go back to the hotel... will Charlie even look me in the eye?

"Hey, you alright?" Cherri asked me.

"Yeah, I'm fine... I'm just thinking." I said. "Okay team, everyone get geared up, for when the day comes." I said. I looked over at Angel dust. "Hey Angel... I have nowhere else to go... you don't think she's there right now do you?"

"She probably is. But still... ugh look just come back, and just try to avoid her, okay?"

"Yeah... I'll come." I said.

Hazbin hotel

Me and Angel walked through the front door of the hotel, I didn't see Charlie anywhere, so I just head straight to my room.

Me and Angel were riding the elevator in silence, until we reached Angel's stop.

"Guess I'll... see you around." I said.

"Yeah... good luck with... Charlie... if you see her." Angel said.

"Yeah... thanks." I said as the elevator door closed.

After the elevator ride I walked up to my room and used my insert my key. But when I walked in I saw... I saw her... Charlie... and Vaggie were cleaning the room I destroyed.

"..."

"..."

Me and Charlie just stared at each other, not saying anything. Then I broke the silence.

"... want some help?"

"... yeah... That'd be nice." Charlie said.

Later

After we cleaned up. I just sat on my bed and looked at Charlie.

"You don't have to stay... I know your probably mad at me for what I'm about to do."

"I won't stop you... What those people did to you was just horrible... and to let them get away unpunished... it's like you took their place in hell. They should be down here just as much as everyone." Charlie said.

"Agreed... that's why I'm coming with you too." Vaggie said.

"Vaggie?" I said.

"Yeah... trust me, I hate those guys just as much as you do now. Your my friend, Max... and I wanna help too." Vaggie said as she puts a hand on my shoulder.

"Thanks Vaggie... could you leave... there's something I gotta tell Charlie."

"Yeah sure." Vaggie said, and left the room. Me and Charlie sat on my bed in silence.

"So... what do you wanna tell me?" Charlie asked.

"So... I feel like I'm obligated to tell you this, but for the past few days since I've been here and met you people... I've... kinda... feel for you." I said.

"I know you have Vaggie, and even if it is one sided, my feelings for you will never fade. You can leave now if you want." I said.

"... hey Max."

"Huh." I looked at Charlie and when I did she gave me a quick peck on the lips. I was left dumbfounded... "That was my... first kiss." I said.

"Oh... so I'm your first? You should be honored that it came from a princess." She said as she poked my nose. "Now I have a future wife AND husband."

"!!!" My thought instantly went back to my dream I had the other day. Then again, If it was anything like that, Vaggie would have to agree to share Charlie.

After that she left. And Vaggie was standing outside. She must've heard all that.

"Uhh look Vaggie I-" I was cut off when she lifted her finger at me.

"Let's get one thing straight. If this is gonna happen, we're gonna share Charlie okay?"

"!!!"

"What?" She asked.

"N-nothing, just a... dream I had the other day."

"Okay." I said as I held out my hand.

"Good. But I'm letting this happen because I feel bad about that fake girlfriend that played you, if it was any other guy I would've just straight up killed him."

"Thanks Vaggie... your really a nice person."

"*blush* s-shut up. So... when is it going down?"

"Heh, glad to have you on board."
