That night Peter with Gwen and Felicia would watch Mary Jane's play Roses in the West at the Manhattan Broadway where Mary Jane was the director of acting She would also play the main character who is the planter of roses and flowers in the western era. "Ladies and gentleman I present to you our play 'Roses in the West'!" Mary Jane says over the microphone.
The audience cheers and applauses. "This should be a good one" Gwen says. "You mean a fantastic one" Peter says. "An amazing one" Felecia says. The play then begins with Mary Jane as the planter singing a song about her dream of making the western desert more rainy and flowery. After the first scene the audience makes a loud applause and cheer. "You go MJ!" Peter yelled.
After the play Peter, Mary Jane, Gwen, and Felicia all talk. "That was a great play. You were amazing" Peter complimented. "I appreciate that Peter" Mary Jane said upon kissing him. "How are things going between the two of you?" Gwen asked. "Up and down. Peter has been struggling with the past" Mary Jane says. "Yeah about me hurting Mary Jane at the jazz club and making you feel bad. Plus my past demons and rivals including Eddie" Peter said. "Eddie Brock?" Felicia asks. "Yes he's referring to Eddie the photographer who forged a photo of Spider-Man robbing a bank and the one who would take modeling pictures of us. Plus tried to force me into going out with him when I had no interest in being his boyfriend" Gwen said. "I agree he was such a total douchebag. I dated him for like a few months but dumped him after realizing he was only using me for his own personal gain" Felica said. "How dare he do that to you" Mary Jane says. "Let's get off these topics and move along to better ones" Peter says. "Anyways it was great seeing you guys again and please continue to have conversations with one another so you'll have a successful marriage" Gwen says. "We will Gwen" Peter says. "See you all around" Felecia says before walking with Gwen. Peter and Mary Jane walk to the cab to go back to their apartment.
