Hi everyone.
Obviously it's been a little while since I've updated or been in contact with this story. Writing is such a strange thing for me because once I pump out chapters I start pumping them out 2,3,4 times a week. I don't want to make excuses, but around the time I stopped updating, I dealt with a personal loss which really threw stutter in my rhythm.
Everytime I sat down to write it was strange. It's hard to really put things like that into perspective and I simply did lose motivation to write. I focused on my family and school and time was poured into things like that. I actually started an internship over the summer and moved cities in September, so I was dealing with some things I decided to focus more attention on and prioritize.
In an ideal world, I would be able to jump straight back into this, as I really do want to finish and do justice to all the tributes that I had been given. However, when I was initially writing this story, I filled a lot of slots with my own tributes and it was difficult to be inspired by them, because I whipped them up to be nothing tributes.
So I'm going to start writing again, I've set a schedule and I plan to set a publish date everytime I churn out a new chapter, so you know if something's gone wrong and relatively when to expect me.
Everyone who's submitted previously, I'll give you the chance to withdraw your tributes if you'd like to submit them elsewhere and entrust them to somebody else, but otherwise I'm going to keep writing. I've reopened some slots that I had had filled, and hopefully some of you will claim them. I'm not capping submissions, so if anyone who's already submitted would like to submit, I'm happy to give slots to whoever wants them. I'm sure many of you have already moved on, but those of you who are still around I'd love to hear from you through a review or a PM if you'd like an additional slot.
I expect to have the District 5 reapings out by Wednesday, November 18
