A/N: I missed an update day, whoops. This chapter is slightly longer due to that

*SLICE* The last black bokoblin falls to the ground with a thump, I turn to look at the princess, she looks over the all the dead monsters, multiple lynels, moblins, and bokoblin on the ground without any movement, I sheath the Master Sword and I feel a sharp pain right arm, I look at it and see a cut going right down my humorous, I wince and hold the cut, adrenaline must of kept me from not feeling it, the princess turns to me and gasps.

"Are you ok, Lynk?" Zelda- the princess asks me as she walks over to me, she walks straight up to me and moves my hand off the cut.

"Look, you are not ok, sit down, I'll try to treat the wound as best as I can." The princess has been treating me differently ever since I saved her from the Yiga, like she is opening up to me.

"That cut doesn't look too bad actually, but you know that there is a fine line between courage and recklessness." I let out a sigh, that Farore the cut isn't as bad as I thought.

"As brave as you are, that doesn't make you immortal," Oh, here comes the lecture. At least it a helpful lecture instead of her taking out her anger on me for doing nothing.

"It seems not only the frequency of these attacks are on the rise, but the scale of the beasts we are facing is increasing as well." I can't deny that, I don't think I've seen this many silver and white-maned lynels in one place.

"I fear that - I fear that this is an omen which portends the return of Calamity Ganon." If this is an omen, It would be really hard to fight the Calamity while fighting off hordes of monsters as well. The princess then gets up and I look up to her while still sitting.

"And, if that's the case, I'm ready to expect the worst. We need to make preparations as soon as possible." I agree we don't know when the Calamity will come back to Hyrule, for Din's sake it could come tomorrow and we would never expect it. I get up to meet the princess's gaze.

"Come on, we have no other business around her." The princess then starts to walk down the mountain, I follow close behind her. The rocky terrain is hard to traverse but the closer we got to Hyrule Fields the smaller the rocks became and we finally got down the mountain and to some flat, grassy land.

"I think this is a good place to have lunch." The princess then pulls a mini pot out of her bag and places it down on the grass.

"Wait here Lynk, we need dry wood, the princess then walks off to a bushy area. I turn back to the pot and notice that there is grass under it, with that if we set the wood on fire, it would burn this whole grassy area. I start digging up the grass around the pot until a good area is down to dirt, I smirk slightly at my work before turning back around to see the princess walking back with a bunch of sticks.

"This should be good enough for a fire." She says as she places down the sticks under the pot, I'm glad I dug up the grass.

"We might have a small problem." The princess interrupts my thought as I turn to her looking in her bag as if she is trying to find something she lost

"We have no editable food left in the bags we got from Goron City." She points the bag at me and all I see are rocks, of course, the Gorons gave us rocks, we should have said meat, eh. I get up and I symbol the princess to follow, she gets up but tilts her head slightly.

"Where are we going, Lynk." The princess asks me as she follows behind me walking up a small mound in the grassy plains, I then point to 4 goats grazing on the grass, unaware that we are here. I then hold an invisible bow in my hand and point at the bag.

"We have a royale bow with 8 arrows, is that enough." The princess asks me and I nod and grab the bow. I pull the bow back and let the arrow fly, hitting one of the goats' in the head, I grab another and hit another one in the head. The other two get out of my range before I can shoot them.

"Amazing." The princess whispers quietly, I feel slight heat on my cheeks but I just shake it off, it can't be anything important. Me and Zelda-the princess then get the goats and shart cooking them, the princess starts rambling on about the divine beasts and I contently listen while the goats cook. Then she says something unexpected.

"Lynk, why are you so silent." A long silence happens after that and I look at the princess, I look down and take a deep breath.

"With so much at stake and so many people either looking down or looking up to me, it's easier to stay strong and to carry any burden when you don't talk.

The goats finish cooking as soon as I finish my sentence, breaking how awkward it was as we both silently agree to move on like it was perfectly planned. I finish eating the meat and I look over to the princess and see meat still in the pot, the princess seems finished eating so I eat what's left, I hear gigging and look at the princess.

"I knew it, so you are a glutton," she says while laughing, I just down and to the left and feel that same warmness on my cheeks when she complimented me, I wonder what that feeling is.

Zelda's Journal

"Bit by bit, I've gotten Lynk to open up to me. It turns out she's quite a glutton. She can't resist a delicious meal! When I finally got around to asking why she's so quiet all the time, I could tell it was difficult for her to say. But she did. With so much at stake and so many eyes upon her, she feels it necessary to stay strong and to silently bear any burden. A feeling I know all too well. For her, it has caused her to stop outwardly expressing her thoughts and feelings. I always believed her to be simply a gifted person who had never faced a day of hardship. How wrong I was. Everyone has struggles that go unseen by the world, I was so absorbed with my own problems, I failed to see hers. I wish to talk with her more and to see what lies beneath those calm waters, to hear her speak freely and openly. And perhaps I, too, will be able to bare my soul to her and share the demons that have plagued me all these years."
