Meanwhile at Arkham Asylum, Dr. Jonathan Crane is in his lab conducting experiments to cure mentally insane patients and they worked well with the rats he used as lab tests. He was also using rats as test subjects for his hallucination gas and it worked well on them as well. "Yes. Yes! My invention is a success! Bruce Wayne you're going down big time! And of course Batman. You will be going down as well!" Jonathan yelled. He kept laughing evily until a knock came through the door. "Dr. Crane. Are you in there?" Commissioner Gordon asked. Crane answered, "Yes come in." Commissioner Gordon said, "We got Jervis Tetch on the first floor of the asylum now" Jonathan said, "The Gotham Circus manager? I'll be right up" The door closes as he prepares with his hallucination experiment to go up to speak to him.
"Here he is." Commissioner Gordon said. "What's wrong with him?" Jonathan asked. "He burnt down his business by constantly using his fire spiral to perform shows as proven they have been a failure with using toys to destroy it. So make sure he doesn't go crazy" The door closes as Dr. Crane has a meeting with Jervis Tetch.
"Hello Jervis. Dr. Jonathan Crane. Psychiatrist here in Arkham Asylum. Anything I can help you with?" said Jonathan. "Yes! Another piece of fire and toys in order to perform a marvelous show again!" Jervis exclaimed. He started laughing until Jonathan yelled, "No! Not that again!" Then he calmed down so he can talk to him and said, "What you need is a break from the circus world and more medications & therapies to help you go back into the circus business world. And I got the solution right here." He pulls out his ball of hallucinogen with his scarecrow mask and hat. First he presses the ball to let the hallucinogen gas out then put on his mask and hat once Jervis couldn't see anything. "You see me now?" Scarecrow asked scaringly. "Ahhhh! Monster! Help!" Jervis yelled. "You don't need help! You need to remain in this place for a long time!" Scarecrow yelled. Jervis then screamed while Crane removes his mask and hat.
"What's going on here?!" Commissioner Gordon yelled. "A Scarecrow was here trying to kill me!" Jervis yelled. "I don't know what's wrong with him but he was just starting to see things as soon as I was about to give him his medications" Jonathan said. "Help! A monster is here with the scarecrow!" yelled Jervis. "Don't worry about the medications you just go back to your office." Commissioner Gordon says. Gordon pulls the alarm down to bring Jervis into a private room. Staff and police arrive to take him but Jervis yells, "Monsters! Go away! Aaahhhhh!"
"Scarecrow! Monsters! They're everywhere!" Jervis yelled in the private room. "Still is having these strange delusions huh?" Jonathan said. "We don't know how long this is going to happen but he'll be in there for a certain amount of time. But for now worry about your own business." Gordon said. "Got it Commissioner" said Jonathan. Jervis then screams as in he's in trouble.
