The music of the Max Rebo band blared loudly throughout Jabba's throne room. Leia twisted and swayed to the music using her fellow dancers as a jumping off point. Oola had taken the past several weeks to really show her the ropes of the trade, and that combined with the dancing she did in her spare time even before coming to the palace, made her fit in better than someone in her situation normally would.

Leia smiled and gave a bow as the crowd cheered her on, even Boba Fett gave a sort of nod of approval. Frankly she after interacting with him for the past couple of nights she wasn't sure what to think of the mysterious man, he had been flirtatious with her but respectable enough to where she clearly didn't have to worry about him invading her personal space. What surprised her the most however was how philosophical the man was. Her mind drew back to the conversation they had on her first day. After a bit of teasing.

"You seem casual for a guy who just lost his bounty as quick as he got it?" She blurted out.

The bounty hunter chuckled. "Last i checked I got paid, I don't care what jabba does afterward. I'm just a simple man making his way in the universe like my father before me."

Leia cocked her head. Is that all you think about? Credits, you've never fought for anything greater than yourself.

"considering where your little rebellion landed you, I wouldn't be too proud. As for me, I fight for people princess not causes. I take jobs from whoever is the ruling authority of the sector I'm in. Your little smuggler friend just happen to have a double bounty on his head at the time. wasn't personal honey, just business."

"And now that said business has concluded...?

"we're square."

the bounty hunter proceeded to chuckle. "course keep dancing like you did today and I MIGHT be willing to do a couple of favors."

"Is that supposed to be your idea of a proposition?"

"don't push your luck...Princess the hutt"

Princess the hutt, that had been the name people at the palace had given her ever since word came out that Jabba now had himself an adopted daughter. part of it came about because Jabba was considering legally changing her name to Chenlaee Desilijic Tiure. For many of Jabba's slaves and staff members it was used as a title of honor. For others it was a form of mockery, a parody of the title she once had as princess of Alderaan . In truth Leia didn't know what to think of the name, she had know doubt in Jabba's mind it was meant to be a term of affection "daddy's little princess." but the whole situation still felt too bizarre to really comprehend and she could only imagine what the ghosts of her former adopted parents would think of all of this.

Back in the present, Jabba barked out orders for music to stop as a droid showed a holgram showing a live feed of the latest demolition games. Leia took her place on the makeshift couch that Jabba had his servants make for her. snapping her chain back into place on her collar. She still didn't see what the point of that thing was. Either he was afraid she'd try to escape in the middle of the night while he was asleep, trying to protect her in some way, or (and frankly most likely) it was some kind of bizarre form of showing affection on his part. Leia thought the less she asked questions the better, besides it wasn't like it was hard to unlatch or anything.

The moment she laid down servants and droids almost seemed to arrive on cue offering her food and drink by the trayful, much like the dinner, Jabba coxed her to eat as much as she could. Jabba would laugh watching her successfully (albeit with struggle) finish plate upon plate of the fatty delicacies saying it would get to the point where she could not only eat everything in front of her, but demand all of it and more without the need of being coxed. She had to admit that the splicing and the coxing had to be doing something as she had developed a taste for mead bathed paddy frogs and even got to the point she was able to swallow them all much like how a snake swallowed an egg.

The new diet had also started to do it's job on the outside of her body as well. her tongue did in fact split as she was warned about though she only came to find it appealing even learning how to do tricks with it, and the iris's of her eyes began to take on a catlike appearance as well as a distinctive orange hue,but all that paled compared to what was happening to her figure While the dancing mixed with her new DNA had given her strength that she would not have as a normal human it was undeniable that any muscles she had were covered by distinct layers of fat and blubber, it was enough to where she already had to have her dancer's outfit resized once, and before long she'd most likely have to do it a second time. Even her face and neck began to fill out and she could almost swear her voice had gotten thicker in timbre. there was a part of her that regretted making her promise but she quickly chastised herself.

"Come on leia, you gave your word that you'd do as he ask without question. Can't back out of it now."

From the corner of her eye she could see Bib Fortuna give her a sneer of utter contempt. The twi'lek had made it clear through his body language that he didn't appreciate the attention from Jabba that he seemingly showered her with.

One time Bib had actually tried to grope her shoulders only for Jabba to shove him away causing him to tumble off the throne. The crowd of patrons roared in laughter at his misfortune which caused him to be angry all the more. "Don't do that again Fortuna." Jabba gurgled in Huttese. "You're not as irreplaceable as you think."

The Twi'lek meekly nodded, but when Jabba wasn't looking came close to Leia whispering in her ear. "Sooner or later "Daddy" won't be around to protect you."

Leia undeterred simply gave him a smirk. "Just try it slimeball." She wasn't afraid of the likes of him. Perhaps on Ryloth or even Tatooine he was some kind of intimidating force, but a Darth Vader, or grand Moff Tarkin he was not.

Clearly in the time that had since passed, the contentment for Bib had not passed. Every fiber of his being wanted to claw Leia's (or Chenlaee's as he guessed she was now called) eyes out and shove them down her throat. Then he'd lop off her face and feed it to Jabba before then taking that chain on his throne and strangling him with it Yet as much as he fantasized and dreamed of breaking the two of them, he couldn't. Even an attempt would result in him being fed to the rancor or worse...the Great Pit of Carkoon. He couldn't touch them, and she knew it.

speaking of the spoiled princess she seemed to be adapting surprisingly well to her new role When she wasn't dancing, she was lazing comfortably on the sofa extension that jabba had had attached to his throne massaging various parts of her body as she watched, whatever entertainment the palace had to offer. The thought of having to potentially take orders from this spoiled house cat, made the albino twi'lek almost gag in revulsion. Jabba did not hide the fact that he was growing more attached to her every passing day. It was only going to be a matter of time before Jabba would start telling her secrets and teaching her about the "Family business." and by that point, Bib would be out of job.

As Bib seethed in his on mind Leia found herself enthralled by the demolition games. the rules of the game was simple, vehicles fight in an outright free for all trying to destroy each other. The last one standing wins. Leia found that her two favorite combatants were Jabba's rancor and her keeper (whom leia had quickly become friends with), and a young man from Alderaan named Wade Vox, normally she'd root for the both of them in their respected bouts, but in this case, they were fighting each other, and as much as she wanted to route for anyone from Alderaan, her smarts told her to bet on the rancor.

This intuition served all too well as Pateesa grabbed the speeder with his taloned hands and smashed it into the ground until it was nearly scrap. Wade had managed to crawl out of the mangled scrap and miraculously evading any fatal injuries but it was clear he wasn't going to be able to compete in the games again for a while.

the broadcast however was interrupted when the sound of blaster fire could be heard echoing across the hall. Everyone including Leia let out an audible gasp. As a shadow moved closer and closer. A man in a beige cloak was carrying a wild looking pale woman with long black hair and tribal tattoos. The woman was cursing the cloaked figure in a language that leia was unfamiliar with. The young man seemed undeterred as he seemingly ignored her and removed his hood. Leia let out an audible gasp,

the cloaked figure had been none other than Galen marek.
