'What are we doing here?'
Good question, followed but the feeling of Regina's body pressed against Emma's. Those dark eyes that would stare directly into Emma's. The air was getting thicker, filled with words that non of them would say, not for now at least.
'I am sorry, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. This is the safest place in the house, I want you to know that.'
Regina was close, too close. Emma's body against hers was more than she could handle right now. So she stepped away. Like a magnet their bodies would fight the separation, almost painful. Emma started to play with her hair again, those curls between her fingers would bring Regina to the edge.
'How about I let you rest. You should get some rest.'
She couldn't take her eyes away from Emma. Her thoughts would go towards those dreams Emma was talking about. And suddenly she felt herself moving closer to Emma. Why would she torture herself like that?
'Regina, you. You have to leave me some place to breathe.'
It was hard hearing Emma, for all Regina could do was to breathe her in. Emma's smell would drive Regina insane, there was mix of Elderflower in the air. Without wanting it, she let out a small, but very good noticable moan.
Her eyes shut open when she found herself in the middle of the hallway, still covered in white smoke.
'I, I can't. I am exhausted. Please, Regina.'
Nothing of what Emma was doing help Regina's state in any sense. She felt the warmth of her core and Emma's pleading would only make it worse.
'Em-ma. I.'
Stepping closer to the closed door, slightly holding it with her finger tips. She could swear she felt Emma on the other side.
'Good night, Regina. And thank you, for letting me stay here. I, we, talk tomorrow.'
Turning around and walking towards the guest bedroom, was one of the hardest things she did today. And suddenly a thought strucked her mind, one that made her tighten her fists.
'Oh an Regina, no killing, no hunting or torturing Hook. Please, just stay home with me. I need you here.'
A sign would leave her lips, Emma knew her to well. All this little details she was hearing from Emma, would stuck on her mind, but one more than the rest. Home, Emma constantly said home.
'Good night, Em-ma, sweet dreams.'
Oh, Regina could be cruel at time Emma thought, those words of hers always had a certain effect on Emma. Both found themselves on their beds, exhausted from the day, sleep would lay heavy on their eyes. Both would have avoided any kind of sleep, if they knew what would follow.
