The Sergeant isn't evil. He was just extremely annoyed by the excessive noise and wanted to make it stop.
And yeah. Fawful is awful. It's in his name, and it's what he's about. He's so awful, that be became the main villain in Bowser's Inside Story!
nintendoscript15
Tolstar isn't really a guy anyone should trust. You really need to be careful about where you go and who you talk to.
Nataly Guardado
True. Bowser was just trying to help the heroes. Normally, he would deserve something like that, but not in this scenario.
Mario: Don't worry about it. Bowser's survived much worse. He'll be okay.
Amethyst Goldenwind
His greediness was destined to be punished. And oh yes! We'll see Bowser again much later!

…
Um… Can you actually say something about the chapter instead of saying random words? It seems to me that you're just reviewing for the sake of reviewing.
StarlitDuck
It's certainly weird. Alphadream should've at the very least gave them a different shade of yellow or something.
I came to this site with the mindset of making game adaptations. But an original story may come to mind at some point.

The future team ups are already planned out and I'm not going to spoil them.
I figured having the characters personalities clash would make them fun to read, much like how the two bros are fun to watch in the original game.
C.T Genius
I'm thinking about that. I made them change outfits in my Sunshine story, so I think they will.
Chapter 6: Welcome to the Beanbean Kingdom!
[BGM: Hoohoo Village - Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions]
Team Mario emerged from the cave to be greeted by a beautiful mountain top consisting of waterfalls flowing into the rivers below. It was now daytime again, after having travelled through the eternal twilight of Stardust Fields. A village lied just ahead.
"Finally, we made it!" Daisy was relieved to have made it to the Beanbean Kingdom after all that chaos they dealt with just to get there. "Now, let's ask around to see if anyone's seen that 'Cackletta' creep."
"I see a village ahead! Come on!" Mario led them across a bridge, which according to the map, would lead them to Hoohoo Village. Suddenly, someone on the bridge stops them.
"YOU FIENDS!"
"Hey! Hey HEY!"
"Woah!"
The four back up over to the cave where they emerged from, and were cornered by three knights wearing royal armor, had swords, had shields with the Beanbean logo, and most noticeably had green skin. They were taller than Mario, but also shorter than Luigi, and seemed to be angry at the group.
"Is… is there a problem, sirs?" Mario asked, trying to keep it together.
"We…" One of the knights ran out of breath and caught it before continuing. "We've found you at last! You scum! What have you done to Prince Peasley?!" the knight interrogated.
The four were confused.
"Prince Peasley?" Aqua questioned. It definitely sounded like a weird name. But then again, the kingdom was known for having strange names.
"Yes! There is no mistake! YOU kidnapped Prince Peasley!" the second knight aggressively accused.
"We don't even know who that is!" Luigi defended. "We're not even from here!"
The knights did not listen, however, and the third knight intervened.
"We have witnesses! Now confess, villains!"
"Before you go around accusing people, why don't you learn who you're talking to!" Daisy argued. "I'm Princess Daisy of Sarasaland. This is my sister, Princess Aqua of the Lake Kingdom, and these are the Mushroom Kingdom's saviors, Mario and Luigi. We're here looking for Princess Peach's voice."
"We assure you, sirs. We would never stoop down to Bowser's level and kidnap someone."
They were expecting this all to the cleared up by just introducing themselves, but the knights didn't believe them.
"Lies! Bald-faced lies! The superstars of the Mushroom Kingdom and the fair princesses would never come here!"
Mario and Daisy had just about had it with these guys and were about to snap. That was until an injured Tolstar flew up to them.
"Nyeh… Nyeck nyehhh… They're not lying… They say they've come here chasing someone called Cackletta… And they're really, really tough…" Tolstar then flew away, leaving the quartet confused.
"Why did he just help us?" Aqua wondered, confused that this guy just defended them when he was just ransoming them for money earlier.
"I guess we beat him up so much that we earned his respect," Daisy assumed.
"...Oh dear. Oh, my! Ohhh, BOY! Pardon us, sirs, and your majesties! SO sorry!" The first knight apologized with deep regret.
"It's… It's alright. Misunderstandings happen," Luigi forgave them. "But what exactly happened to this 'Prince Peasley'?"
"See, our kingdom's Prince Peasley was kidnapped by something… or so recent reports out of Hoohoo Village claim." the second knight explained. "We have been looking for any sign of the perpetrator."
"Did any eyewitnesses catch what the kidnapper looked like?" Mario queried, wanting to help find this kidnapper and bring them to justice. Perhaps they had something to do with Peach's voice getting stolen.
"According to eyewitness accounts, the prince's kidnapper…" the third knight took out his log and read it to see what the reports claimed. "...wore an odd helmet and spoke of mustard and fink-rats… That is all we have to go on."
Team Mario thought about the description for a moment, but then remembered the strange speech pattern of the guy who attacked them and took down the Koopa Cruiser. "Fawful…" they muttered.
"You're probably talking about the same guy who attacked us earlier. We tried to stop him, but he got away." Mario explained.
"Also, we look nothing like him," Luigi groaned.
"So, you've met this kidnapper? In that case, if you come across him again, please let us know."
"We will!" Mario saluted.
"Reopen the investigation!" one of the knights called out, and the knight trio fled to continue their investigation.
"Well, that was easier than we thought," Luigi commented. The quartet walked across the bridge again.
Hoohoo Village
Upon reaching the other side, the quartet had finally reached Hoohoo Village. The village was on the flanks of Hoohoo Mountain, and stood on a gigantic wooden bridge in front of a group of waterfalls. The water from the waterfalls sparkled as it reflected the sun's glistening rays. The houses of the village were wooden huts with patches of straw for roofs, which reminded Aqua of the houses the pigs built in the fairytale, The Three Little Pigs. The residents of Hoohoo Village were cactus-like citizens with hollowed out faces, called Hoohooligans, a subspecies of the Beanish people. They were kinda creepy looking to Mario and Co., but seemed friendly.
"This place is beautiful!" Aqua admired. "I know we're here on a mission, but I can't help but look around."
"I know, right?" Luigi added. "Maybe once this is all over, we could take our next vacation here."
Mario and the others started talking to Hoohooligans. They learned that if one climbed to the top of the mountain, they'd get a view of the entire kingdom. At the bottom of the mountain was the town surrounding Beanbean Castle. The people there were so much more stylish and fashionable than the Hoohooligans.
The group also got some strange information. To reach the mountain's peak, they'd either have to get a ride from Blablanadon or hike up. Who or what is "Blablanadon"? Another townsfolk spoke of Prince Peasley's whereabouts.
"I-I saw this kingdom's prince, Prince Peasley, on the edge of the village…"
"Really? You sure that was him?" Mario queried.
"I-I'm sure of it! He was taken to the top of the mountain by some guy wearing a weird helmet…"
"Alright, thanks."
They walked off.
"What does that Fawful guy even want with the prince?" Aqua wondered.
"No idea, sis. Nothing good, I can guarantee," answered Daisy.
[BGM pause]
The group made their way to the bottom of the mountain in hopes of finding this "Blablanadon", because hiking up the mountain themselves looked like a long and tedious climb from what the villagers have told. Eventually, they reached the base of Hoohoo Mountain where they found Fawful tormenting a soldier.
[BGM: Panic! - Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga]
"There he is!" Daisy stated.
"G-Give back Prince Peasley!" the soldier shrieked.
Fawful then shot a green energy ball at the soldier, but luckily, he jumped away from it and ran off, leaving Fawful cackling with glee. His laugh was a more childish rendition of his boss, Cackletta's laugh.
"Hey! YOU!" Mario called out.
Fawful heard his voice and turned around to see the group of four.
"Nnrrgh-GACK!" he growled, still showing his grin. "Y-You again! You are the group of fink-rats that swooped in with the Bowser that I hate!"
"We know you were the one who kidnapped Prince Peasley! Now where is he?!" Luigi hissed.
"Hmph! HMPH, I say to you! While I was busy with Peasley, you have been catching me! I HAVE FURY!"
"I'm getting really tired of this guy's bad grammar," Daisy whispered to Aqua.
"His smile is creepy…" Aqua shuddered.
"But Cackletta has already begun smearing the butter of her next tasty plan over Beanbean Castle!" Fawful continued.
"Eww! Gross!" Luigi and Aqua gagged.
Fawful just ignored their complaints and continued.
"Since you four cannot make it in time, I say to you that it is better never than late… SO HERE IS YOUR HALTING PLACE!"
Fawful took off into the sky, and a giant statue fell down from nowhere, which blocked the heroes' passage.
[BGM end]
"WHY YOU LITTLE-!" Mario tried to punch the rock away, but it wasn't budging. Fawful just chortled as Mario wore down his anger trying to break the rock.
"I HAVE FURY!" Fawful laughed evilly. "Since you will not be shattering this stone, I laugh at you trying to climb down this mountain!" He took off, still chortling.
"No! Get back here!" Mario called out, but Fawful was already gone. The plumber's arms were weakened from trying to break the rock to no avail. Daisy put her hand on Luigi's shoulder and sighed.
"It's no use, guys. Not even your super strong hands can break this baby. And it doesn't look like our new jump moves can get over it either."
"But if Mario and Luigi can't break it, what can?" Aqua pondered. "I don't know anything that's stronger than them."
The group stroked their chins trying to think of a solution. A lightbulb soon lit up over the younger Mario brother's head.
"I got it! Why don't we use metal Hammers? They're tough enough to break any stone!"
"Great idea!" Daisy applauded. "You got any in hand?"
"Well… no." Mario shrugged. "We have wooden Hammers at home, but those wouldn't do good. We used to have metal Hammers as kids, but we gave them away to… somebody. And… we don't remember who…"
"But maybe there's a blacksmith in Hoohoo Village who can make new ones for us," Luigi suggested.
[Resume "Hoohoo Village"]
They all agreed and climbed back up to Hoohoo Village, where they found a broken bridge. This prevented the villagers from climbing the mountain. Which was a problem since Prince Peasley's up there.
"Hmm… Hopefully that gets fixed soon…" Mario thought. Then they walked inside the nearest house.
The house Team Mario walked into was a nice little workshop with wooden, steel, and metal materials, a workbench, and a metal table where objects would be crafted. The workshop was inhabited by two green men with oddly big Hammer-shaped heads. One of which had red eyebrows, a red beard, and a purple tunic. The other had green eyebrows, a green mustache, and a blue tunic. Both of which seemed to be working on a stone, which made Luigi beam in delight.
"Looks like we found our blacksmiths!"
"Th-This is the last stone! Now we show the true spirit of the Hammerhead Bros!" the red one named Sledge said.
"This stone's our last shot!" the green one named Mallet said.
To the group's surprise, they saw Sledge and Mallet hover in the air and use their own heads to hammer the stone like if they were actually hammers. Once the stone was shattered to pieces, they stopped.
"Well, that's something you don't see everyday…" Daisy thought.
"Haah… Hufff… Hoorf…" Sledge panted. "This…stone…just…ain't…gonna…do…it… We can't make Hammers no more…"
"Did you just say Hammers?" Luigi asked.
Hearing his voice, Mallet turned around and saw the group of four standing at the entrance, gawking at them after seeing their… odd crafting method.
"Muh?! What do you all think you're starin' at?" he questioned.
"Errm… Sorry sir," Aqua apologized. "But you said you can make Hammers. Can you make us some?"
Sledge noticed the two familiar mustachioed guys among the princesses. Then it hit him:
"Hey! I know these two dudes! They're Mario and Luigi from the Mushroom Kingdom! The Jump and Hammer Kings!"
"Yeah!" The bros nodded. "That's-a us! Woohoo!"
Aqua giggled. "You two are really popular around here!"
"I'll say." Daisy agreed.
"Yeah! You're so right, Sledge! I remember these guys!" Mallet said happily. "Why are a couple of celebrities like you bummin' around this place lookin' for Hammers?"
Mario and Luigi were about to say something until Sledge interrupted them:
"Oh! Hey… Look, you don't have to tell us. We fully understand…"
"You do?" Mario asked.
"Mmhm. Our lips are completely sealed… We'll just make what you need. We're professionals, after all."
"…That's right. Pros all the way." Mallet added. "…But the thing is, in order to make Hammers, we need Hoohoo Blocks from the mountaintop. And since Blablanadon suddenly stopped comin' down here, we can't get up to the summit!"
"Hoohoo Block?" Daisy questioned.
"Hoohoo Blocks are hard stones. Hammers made from those things can break anything!" Sledge said. "We want to climb the mountain to get more Hoohoo Blocks, but we can't jump well enough to do it!"
"You can't, but we can!" Mario grinned as he and Luigi jumped to demonstrate them. Daisy and Aqua did the same with their Float and Rope jumps.
"Huh? Oh yeah! What was I thinkin'? You guys are jumpin' pros, ain't you?" Mallet grinned back.
"Yup! In fact, we were just on our way to the top of the mountain anyways to rescue Princess Peasley. So, it's no problem! We'll gladly find some Hoohoo Blocks for you," Mario accepted.
"That would REALLY hook us up! If you get us some Hoohoo Blocks, we'll make you a special Hammer!" Mallet said with joy.
"You scratch our backs, Bros, and we'll scratch yours!" Sledge finished.
"Okay! Let's-a go!" Mario announced as the group left the Hammerhead Bros' house for Hoohoo Mountain. Hopefully the bridge was fixed…
