Chapter 8: The True and Strongest Magic of Friendship

Now face to face with the three villains, and the Windigos continue to circle across the dark and cold sky, Twilight, Sun, and their friends know that it's their only chance to take the bell and defeat the villains. The three villains are also ready to get rid of them so their evil plan will prevail.

"That bell has Discord, Eris, Cosmos, Screwball, Sun, Celestia, and Luna's magic inside. If they use it against us—" Twilight says.

"Their magic is so chaotic, they're the only one who can use it," Fluttershy confirms.

"She's right. Remember when well, your Pinkie Pie ended up in Discord's dimension, that magic took her over," Sun says.

Suddenly, Chrysalis says, "You just can't accept that you were beaten before you even realized there was a fight, can you?"

"You can't beat us if we never give up! As long as I have my friends by my side, I'll put my faith in friendship—" Twilight says.

The Storm King soon becomes annoyed, "Ugh, can we get on with this please?"

Then the Storm King fires the magic of his staff at the gang.

Twilight soon teleports everyone behind the trees and bushes.

EG Rarity comments, "How rude."

"We need to get that bell and get Discord's family, the princesses, and Sun's their magic back," Twilight says.

"Rainbow Dash, Pinkie, Wallflower, Wire Wolf, Dazzlings, and the rest of our Counterparts, you're with me," Princess Twilight says.

"Sweet! I'll grab that bell in ten second—!" Rainbow says.

"No. We're the distraction. They're gonna get the bell," Princess Twilight says, pointing to Sun, Spike, and the pony of Applejack, Fluttershy, and Rarity.

Meanwhile, the villains are searching for the heroes.

"Come out, come out, wherever you are!" Chrysalis says, looking around.

The Storm King notices, "There!"

Soon, the one in charge of the distraction comes out Wire Wolf and the others change forms to gain their wings and magic. The Storm King tries to fire at them, but they quickly dodge the attack. Both Rainbow Dashes and the Dazzlings fly around the Storm King.

Tirek then tries to attack them, but is confronted by Princess Twilight, Falling Star and their counterparts. Tirek levitates the rocks with his magic and throws it at them. The group then dodge the attack, allowing both Twilight to strike him with their magic. When Chrysalis tries to join the fight, both Pinkies appear wearing hats, red and white striped vest and mustaches.

"Step right up, evil fillies and gentlevillains!" Pinkie says.

Then EG Pinkie says, "Try your luck!" preventing a wheel of fortune that has the six ponies faces.

Chrysalis then tries to zap and attack them, but both Pinkie escape on the wheel. Chrysalis tries to attack them, but misses them.

Pinkie appears, "Missed me!"

Chrysalis tries to zap.

But EG Pinkie appears, "Close, but no cherrychimichanga!"

Then both Pinkie appear in front of them.

Pinkie has a stuffed doll of Chrysalis as she says, "Thanks for playing!"

Then Chrysalis zaps the doll into dust.

"Aw well, there's the consolation prize," EQ Pinkie says.

With that, Wire Wolf flies past her, then Chrysalis begins to chase after them.

Seeing their chance, Sun and her team hurry to go grab the bell. Both Pinkie hop away. Triek tries to attack them, but Wallflower uses her magic to create vines to stop them in his tracks, but he uses his magic to cut the vines.

The Storm King says with frustration, "Do they have to be so annoying?!"

Soon Chrysalis realizes, "Not annoying! Distracting!"

Then points to see Sun and her friends attempting to grab the bell. Chrysalis confronts them, but the group hurry away. Chrysalis zaps Spike on his back. Rarity then uses her magic to create a gem shield. The magic doesn't last long as Chrysalis shatters. When she tries to attack Rarity, Spike breathes fire at the magic. Then Rarity joins him, and they both are able to gain power over her. Soon, Chrysalis is able to over power them. Before she can attack more, Sun then grabs a hold of her.

Applejack runs away from Tirek as fast as she can. She then uses her lasso to lasso the bell, but Tirek grabs it, breaks the rope, and throws her. Then EQ Applejack and Wire Wolf attack Tirek.

Then Fluttershy tries to get the bell, but the Storm King is on her tail. Before she can get the chance, the Storm King grabs Fluttershy by her tail, and throws her. Luckily, her human counterpart is able to catch her.

Suddenly, Chrysalis shouts, "Enough! Or these two will suffer the consequences!"

The group of friends gasp in shock to see Tirek has Sun and Chrysalis has Spike by his wings and begins to pull on them, making Spike feel the pain.

Princess Twilight panics, "Please! Don't hurt them!"

"Don't worry about me! Just save—!" Spike says, but Chrysalis pulls on his wings more.

Sun struggles to break herself free from Tirek's grip, but it's proven to be too strong. Sadly, Princess Twilight and the others are forced to not attack and surrender. Chrysalis then levitates Spike and Sun to Twilight and the others. Twilight takes Spike and Wire Wolf takes Sun.

Turns out that the Magic of Friendship is your biggest weakness. A fitting end to your pathetic story," Tirek remarks.

Soon, the three villains charge up their magic and plan to finish them off.

Rainbow says, "No matter what, we face it together!"

Everyone nods their heads in reply and stick together. Then the three villains fire their magic directly at the group of friends to finish them off.

Spike then asks, "What happened? Can I open my eyes?"

The group opens their eyes to see that they are protected by a powerful protective shield.

"Ya sure can! Way to go, Twilight!" Applejack says.

EG Applejack says, "Cutting it rather close."

"It's not me!" Princess Twilight says.

"I don't think it's any of us," Sun says.

Soon, everyone turns their heads and to surprise all of the ponies of Equestria, including all the neighboring land's creatures, come forward. From Ponies to dragons, from Griffons to Hippogriffs and Merponies. Even all of the Pony friends', friends and family join in. And to their surprise and somehow, Sombra, Juniper, and all the humans have been ponied up.

Chancellor Neighsay signal all the creatures to attack. Spitfire does the same to all the sky creatures. Sombra also signals them to charge the attack. All the pegasi, Hippogriffs, and Merponies with wings fly in the sky. The Changelings change into the heroes and the rest charge. Meanwhile, the protective shield with Twilight, Sun and the others are being carried away.

Tirek looks around, "Don't let them escape!"

"Which ones?!" The Storm King asks.

The villains try to attack, but the Yaks storm on the ground. The pegasus, Hippogriffs, and Merponies fly around Tirek and the Storm King. The Storm King tries to fire them with his magic, but Juniper Montage who has ponied up brings out a mirror and sucks the magic in. Then uses it to blow the magic back at them.

Vignette then makes her hands glow, "Let's see what my magix can do."

Then uses them to create holograms of Sun and the others and have them attacking. Gloriosa also uses her magic to grow vines from the ground. The Shadowbolts also reveal to have magic of their own, Indigo Zaps speed past them like lightning. Sunny Flare makes flare of fire and fire at the villains. Sour Sweet then makes arrows and fires. Sugarcoat then uses a protective shield and magic to fight against them. Sombra also has the magic to create red crystals. K-Lo and Su-Z also have the power to teleport as they temporarily stop time for a few seconds, which is enough to have an attack struck at them.

Meanwhile, Twilight, Sun, and the others have been taken to safety.

"The changelings won't fool them forever. And I don't know how long the unicorns' shield will hold," Thorax says.

Princess Twilight and Sun look over the horizon to see every creature has joined forces to fight the villains.

"I don't understand. How are you all here?" Twilight asks.

"And how did Gloriosa, Sombra and the others Pony Up?" Sun adds.

"That's kinda our fault," Galus speaks up.

The others turn to see Galus along with his friends, even Cozy Glow, Rosy, Crescendo, Moon Shell, and Dark Abyss.

"You know those long lectures about friendship you gave at school?" Smolder says.

"And we kind of passed them along to every creature in Equestria," Moon Shell adds.

Flashback:

When the Windigos first appeared, all the Earth Ponies were running away in fear and unhappiness. Sandbar decides that he needs to do something. He places the crate on the ground and stands on it.

Then calls out to the Earth Ponies, "We all know the story of Hearth's Warming Eve! We can defeat the windigos together!"

"You really think if we all sing a couple songs, everything will be fine?" Berryshine asks.

Then Sandbar says, "It's not just singing that saved the founders of Equestria! It's what it represented!"

In the Friendship School, Rasberry Dazzle says to the Unicorns, "Earth ponies, unicorns, and Pegasi becoming friends! We learned at Twilight's school that friendship is the most powerful magic there is!"

In Cloudsdale, Hyper Sonic says, "Focusing on our differences keeps us divided! Villains and creatures like the windigos use that division against us!"

In Yakyakistan, Yona says, "Yaks strong. Ponies strong. But yaks and ponies stronger together! Yaks must be loyal to pony friends!"

In the Dragon Lands, Smolder says, "I know helping other creatures by being kind and generous sounds lame. But I've seen how powerful it can be!"

In the Griffon Kingdom, Galus says, "Playing together! Singing together! Even laughing together! That's what real heroes look like!"

In Seaquestria, Silver Stream says, "Were we really happy by ourselves at the bottom of the ocean? Be honest! It's the ponies that showed us a better way!"

In the Changeling Kingdom Ocelus says, "They've taught us how powerful love and the Magic of Friendship truly is! We can't let them stand alone! We're their friends! They need us!"

On the ocean surface of Merpony Wave Cove, Crescendo says, "We owe so much to Sun and her friends. They've spread the magic of Friendship and showed us how to spread it to others. They also bring back those who are dear to us."

"And even though it has taken some of us, like me, longer to understand, we learned just how strong friendship is and that we need to fight for it," Cozy Glow adds.

Back in the Friendship Castle, Juniper says to the others, "I know it's kind of hard for us because well, us humans don't really have magic, and those who ended up with it, took it the wrong way. But still, we owed Sun and her friends so much for showing us friendship and guiding us to the right path. She helped me when I was at my darkest moment so we need to help her, even if we don't have magic."

Indigo says, "She's right. We can't just stand here."

"Despite the magical odds, we out rank them in number," Sugarcoat says.

"I think that sounds like a great idea," Sour Sweet sweetly says.

Then says sound aggressive and determined, "Then let's fight back!"

"Yeah. Let's beat those jerks," Screwball says.

Everyone soon agrees and cheers.

Sombra then says, "Then let's up our friends stop this and help the best way we can."

Suddenly, they all begin to glow bright.

EG Starlight asks, "Uh, what is happening?"

"Trixie doesn't know," EG Trixie says.

Just then, they all begin to gain pony ears, extended tails, and some have wings. Soon, Sombra, the Shadowbolt girls, Juniper, and the others all are able to gain Geode necklaces around their necks and feel the Magic of Friendship inside of them.

Flashback Ends:

Soon, Sun, Twilight, and the others are astonished to see what has happened. The group of friends remember the true magic of friendship and spread it across the lands.

"How 'bout that? It's just like you said the day we opened that school," Applejack says.

"The more creatures who know about friendship, the safer we'll be," Spike says.

Pinkie happily hugs Twilight, "We told you you had it all figured out!"

Twilight smiles, but a Changeling is hit at the forcefield. Every creature turns their heads to see the three villains are beginning to over power them, and the force field shatters. When they overpower every creature, the three villains charge at them.

But Twilight zaps her magic on the ground stopping them, "ENOUGH! Because of you, I almost lost my way! But everycreature here has reminded me of the true power of friendship! There will always be darkness in the world, but there will also always be those who find the light!"

Back in their prisons, the Pillars begin to glow and disappear from their cells.

Twilight continues, "The Pillars knew this! That's why they created the Elements of Harmony!"

Then the princesses, Starlight, Discord and his family, and even Apep disappear from their cell and find themselves appearing with the other creatures. The Pillars are soon floating in the air and Rockhoof is back to his strong self. Sun and Twilight begin to glow, Twilight is purple and Sun is bright yellow gold.

"The Elements showed me and my friends how strong our friendship could be! Together we worked to bring harmony to Equestria! But there will always be more to do!" Twilight adds.

Soon, Twilight's friends, including Spike are surrounded by a magical aura.

"Which is why we teach others about the Magic of Friendship!" Twilight continues as

The human counterparts of the mane six, Wallflower, Sombra, and Wire Wolf float in the air.

Then Twilight says, "Others who will continue our mission after we are gone!"

Sanbar and his friends, even Crescendo Cozy Glow and the others are being carried in the air.

Then Twilight says, "Now I truly understand! The Elements were just symbols! The real magic has always been right here! And the more who understand how powerful friendship is, the stronger we will all be! Together!"

Soon, the four group of friends fire their magic at the two alicorn princesses. Twilight and Sun take each other's Hands/hooves. Sun also transforms into her pony transformation she gains from the Memory Stone adventure. Then they both fire their magic in the air, making the Windigos vanish and the sky clear. The three villains soon know what's going to happen now.

The Storm King comments, "This is bad, isn't it?"

The rainbow light fires down at the three villains and strikes them with the power, dispelling their magic and the Bewitching bell. Soon, Tirek, the Storm King, and Chrysalis have lost their magic and the bell's power has been deactivated. Seeing that they have no magic, the Storm King and tirek know that they are in trouble now.

Chrysalis angrily growls and bellows, "You think friendship will save you?! We will always return! Nothing will ever stop—!"

But is interrupted when a giant vanilla cupcake with pink frosting and rainbow sprinkles falls right on top of them. Followed by strange brown rain falling from the sky.

Spike slurps up a bit of the rain and says with a confused look, "Chocolate rain?"

Soon, Starlight, Celestia, Luna, Falling Star, Discord, Eris, Cosmos, Screwball, and Apep arrive on the scene.

"Don't look at me!" Discord says.

"I don't think it's any of us," Eris says.

Cosmos ssays, "Then who?"

"Beats me," Screwball replies.

Twilight and Sun look a bit confused when they hear strange static sounds. They turn their heads to see the Pony Pinkie Pie is now holding the Bewitching Bell.

Shocked, Pinkie asks, "Pinkie! You took all the Chaos magic from the bell?! How do you feel?"

"Hmmm... Tingly. Itchy." Pinkie says, scratching her ear.

Then says, "Also like…"

Suddenly, Pinkie Pie grows huge until she is around fifty feet tall.

Then with a loud voice announces, "I COULD TRANSFORM THE COSMOS SO EVERYTHING IS MADE OF ICING!"

Discord steps forward, "Perhaps maybe I should…"

Discord flies up and takes the bell from Pinkie. Then uses the Bewitching Bell to suck up the Chaos Magic and Pinkie reverts to normal. Pinkie falls and soon Princess Twilight catches her.

Feeling very dizzy with blue swirls in her eyes, Pinkie says, "Waiter! There's some chaos in my soup!"

Discord then uses the Bewitching Bell on himself to gain his magic. He snaps his fingers to see his magic is back. Then use it on Celestia, Luna, Sun, Cosmos, Eris, and Screwball gaining back their magic.

Discord places the bell on the ground and turns to Sun, "Sun, will you like to do the honors."

"Don't mind if I do," Sun says.

Sun walks to the bell and uses her magic to create the hammer and enlarges it. She leans back with the hammer and with a hard swing, slams the hammer at the bell, smashing it to the ground. She removes it to see the Bewitching Bell is now in little pieces, some close to dust.

Back at the cupcake, Tirek, The Storm King, and Chrysalis crawl out from under there. And soon face Celestia who stops her foot to the ground.

"There isn't a punishment worthy of all you've done!" Celestia says with furry.

Suddenly, Discord whispers to Celestia, "You know what I would do if I were…"

Then Eris whispers to Luna. Whatever the two Chaotic beings are whispering about it's enough to satisfy Celestia and Luna.

"Oh. That does seem fitting," Luna says.

"May we help?" Discord asks.

Eris asks, "Please?"

With that, Celestia, Luna, Discord, and Eris perform their magic and zap it at the three villains. Soon, The Storm King, Tirek, and Chrysalis are starting to be turned to stone. Chrysalis snarls and tries to attack, but it's too late. Soon, the three villains are forever trapped in stone as a statue together.

Discord and Eris walk over to them.

Then Discord says, "Together forever. I can't think of anything that they would want less!"

Eris says, "That's a good one, Discord."

Seeing the villains are defeated and one forever, every creature cheers that the troubles are now over.

Celestia walks over to Twilight and says, "When I sent you to Ponyville, I had high hopes. When you became Princess of Friendship, I knew I made the right choice. But nothing could prepare me for how proud I am right now." Then gives Twilight a hug with her wing.

"Equestria is definitely in the right hooves. You are ready," Celestia says as she steps back.

Celestia, Luna, Discord and his family bow to Twilight and show respect and honor.

Twilight smiles and says, "You know what? I think I am."

"Thank goodness. First question, your Highness. What do we do with all these creatures?" Applejack asks, and points to all the creatures of different nations.

"We're gonna need a lot more chairs for the coronation!" Pinkie says.

Twilight looks at the hill to see all the creatures.

Then turns to the others, "Actually, as ruler of Equestria, I'd like to postpone the coronation for a while. At least until the castle's rebuilt. Besides, there's something we need to do first."
