"There coming in behind us!" Hunk shouted turning to cover Shiro and Pidge's backs.

"We need to move forward and create a new way out!" Pidge replied. She swung her arm forward shocking a sentry with her bayard.

Shiro punched a sentry turning to his two companions. They had successfully climbed a board the ship only to open the wrong door, allowing a flood of sentries to overcome them. They had been fighting for a while now, holding their ground, but now looking at his tired comrades Shiro knew that they needed to find a way out.

Another group of sentries rounded the corner pinning them closer together. He was almost certain hat he wasn't going to find a way out. Then he saw it. A small space for the three of them to fit through. He called to Pidge and hunk gesturing with his head as he held a sentry back.

In turn they both nodded giving one last retaliation before taking off. Shiro followed behind, and close behind him was the clatter of armor as sentries crowded around one another trying to get to them.

One by one they dropped through a hole cut into the floor of the ship. Shiro was the last to slip through, but before he did he looked up. Standing at the very end of the hallway was Galra general with his sword drawn. He had purple ears peaking out from beneath his black hair that stopped just above his shoulders. Yellow hued eyes held Shiro's silver ones as if there was something familiar about this general.

The clatter of approaching sentries caused the general to turn his head. Shiro took that chance to drop through the hole and into the waiting green lion. As soon as Shiro's feet landed on the floor of the lion Pidge took off. Shiro rose taking hold of a bar stretched across the length of the cockpit just above his head.

Something was off with the general. The way he had look at Shiro as if he recognized him. Not as the champion, no, but almost as if it was something more intimate then that. His lack of initiative to attack an escaping paladin confused Shiro all the more. The blank yellow eyes were trying to communicate something. He could feel it.

"Shiro, you good?" Hunk asked.

Shiro blinked bringing his vision back into focus. He quickly took in the fact that he must've been staring at Hunk.

"What's going on? Shiro you better not be bleeding! So help me I will use your corpse to mop up the blood!" Pidge called from the pilots chair.

"Pidge chill. Shiro's not injured." Hunk replied. He then turned back to Shiro. "Shiro? Did something happen?"

"You did take a while to climb out of the ship." Pidge chimed in.

Shiro glanced between the two before averting his eyes away to look out the front windshield at their approaching destination. "I'm not sure."

The few agents who had not been assigned tasks swarmed the green lion. A newly recruited one bounced in anticipation. As soon as the paladins had been seen no one had a chance to stop him before he spoke.

"There's someone in a holding cell waiting for you guys!"

An older agent smacked the younger on the back of the head as the three paladins exchanged a look who could be waiting for them?

Allura and Coran were keeping the castle on the down low so unless there was an emergency it couldn't be them. Shiro puzzled over it as he changed from his paladin armor. He sat down on a bed in his temporary living quarters. He closed his eyes looking back to the Galra battle cruiser. Those eyes. The yellow lifeless eyes that almost seemed to call to him.

"Shiro."

Shiro glanced up to see Pidge peeking her head through the door. The air seemed off as if there was something bad to come. Something that had been expected but was not thought of for a long while. Even Pidge seemed off as they walked the empty corridor to the holding cell.

Hunk met them at the door and all three walked in. There sitting at the table was a very rough looking Galra. He had a tattered white tunic with pants and shoes each with an obvious layer of dirt. His fur was grown well on past his ears and was tied back with a leather strap.

Shiro leaned on the table his palms flush against the table. "What are you doing here Jarep."

The darkness of her cell had allowed Lance to catch up on a few hours of sleep. However, the sounds of passing guards pulled her from her slumber for fear they were coming to her cell.

They never did.

In fact it was almost as if they had forgotten about her. As this became more blatantly clear Lance allowed herself to relax. She found herself falling asleep more often even as steps were made past her cell.

Now she had almost found herself asleep when her cell was flung open. Two guards moved towards her pinning her against the wall before she had a chance to react. They placed her in a set of handcuffs after removing the chains. Having that done they gripped her upper arms pulling her from the cell. One of the guards placed a hand on the back of her neck pressing down as if to prevent her from much movement.

Lance fidgeted the entire way through each corridor until they reached the landing bay. She was led to an open pod and dropped into a seat. Two sentries reported to her side telling her not to try anything as they placed their fingers against the trigger.

Across from her sat General Zhamoht. His face blank as he looked at her. The claims he made came flooding to the forefront of her mind. How dare he make claims about being Keith? She glared at him pushing herself farther back into her seat.

"Well you don't have to be so dramatic," Zhamoht commented crossing his arms across his chest, "Believe me I'm not looking forward to this, but we have no other choice."

"What do you mean?" Lance asked suddenly curious.

"Oh they didn't tell you?" he chuckled, "Probably for the best. If you knew you'd probably get too bold, and we can't have that now can we?"

"What are you talking about?" She asked again. She found herself growing agitated. Something had happened. Something that worried them enough to put a high ranking general and a prisoner in the same pod.

Zhamoht shook his head tsking as he crossed his arms, "Oh sweetheart. If only you knew."
