Lexie: hi dr shepherd are we going to take Cindy down for her mri.
Derek: yes Lexie we are shall we go to see her now Lexie can you go and get Cindys test results before we go and see her.
Lexie: Yes dr shepherd I will just go now to get the test results and I will meet you at cindys room.
Derek: ok Lexie I will see you in a few minutes I start to go to cindys room and I see Meredith approach I see her face and notice the bruise I wonder who done this to Meredith she stops at the nurses desk and I walk up to her and I start to talk to her hi Meredith I see you have finally met your sister I guess Lexie was the one who punched you in the face.
Meredith: yes Derek she did I said some terrible things to Lexie I upset her and she punched me in the face for it.
Derek: geez Meredith don't you ever think before you speak I mean seriously just because your dad left you and your mother for Lexie and her mother doesn't mean that it isn't Lexie's fault she is your sister and I would think that you wouldn't want to be alone anymore.
Meredith: look Derek I am upset and Lexie being shoved in my face is why I am upset my dad left my mum miserable and mum turned her misery onto me and I will never forgive dad for that but Lexie I just don't know anything anymore.
Derek: maybe you should give Lexie the benefit of the doubt she just found out that she is your sister image how she feels about your dad right now maybe Lexie is upset with your dad as well and maybe isn't showing it as much as she should maybe Meredith you should have another talk with Lexie.
Meredith: Derek I will talk to Lexie again I don't want to ignore my sister anymore.
Derek: that's great Meredith I hope it works out well for you and Lexie I better go and see my patient now I will see you later Meredith.
Meredith: I go and find Lexie I see her at the nurses desk hi Lexie can we talk for a minutes.
Lexie: sure Meredith um where would you like to go and talk.
Meredith: Lexie let's go outside and talk.
Lexie: ok Meredith let's go outside and talk me and Meredith head outside and find a bench and sit on it.
Meredith: Lexie I am sorry for what I said to you about our dad and I am sorry for what I said about you but I just find our dad selfish for what he has done to you and me I just don't know what to say to dad about any of this.
Lexie: Meredith I am sorry for what I said to you as well I didn't mean it I was just upset with you for treating me that way I am your sister, dad on the other hand is selfish and I am upset that he didn't tell me about you earlier I don't know what to say to our dad either I don't know if I can forgive him for any of this and just so you know Meredith our dad is still a drunk and hasn't changed since you last saw him so we can't really expect anything from our dad really.
Meredith: Lexie I can't believe dad is still a drunk I thought he would of changed by now since after Susan died I guess not.
Lexie: no Meredith dad is still a drunk I just don't know what to do with him anymore I am still living with dad but not for much longer I am going to be staying with dr Webber for a few days till I find a house for me and the twins.
Meredith: ok Lexie but why would you be staying with dr Webber for a few days did something happen with dad.
Lexie: yes Meredith something did happen with dad I don't know how to tell you this but I have to get it out Meredith the other night when I went home from the hospital I found dad on the couch drunk and as soon as he saw me come in the door he started calling me a whore and slut and said he wished you were there with him instead on me dad grabbed my arms really tight and he punched me in the face and gave me this cut on my cheek I told dr Webber and he said that tonight he will take me to dads house to get my stuff so I could stay with him for a few days. Also Meredith Mark knows what dad did to me as well , me and Mark have started seeing each other and he really cares about me and the twins I just hope you will be okay with all of this.
Meredith: so what you are telling me Lexie is that dad has started to get abusive towards you and towards my niece and nephew.
Lexie: yes Meredith he has.
Meredith: Lexie I am furious with dad how can he treat you like that nobody treats my baby sister like that and gets away with it and about you and Mark I am fine with that as long as he doesn't hurt you because if he does I won't hesitate to castrate the hell out of him also I would like to ask if you would come and stay with me at my house instead of staying with dr Webber.
Lexie: are you sure Meredith I mean I won't cause trouble between you and your friends will I.
Meredith: no Lexie you will not you are my sister and I will be their for you from now on and also I will be coming with you to dads tonight to get your stuff I don't trust our drunk ass father not to do something else to you or to anyone else.
Lexie: ok Meredith I will stay at your house we will have to tell dr Webber and Mark about the change of plans for tonight because they are both coming to dads as well to help me get my stuff and keep an eye on him while I am their.
Meredith: Ok Lexie let's go and tell dr Webber and Mark about the change of plans for tonight just one more thing Lexie what time are you supposed to meet them tonight.
Lexie: I am meeting Mark and dr Webber at 10pm tonight at the lobby doors and then we were going to go to dads house I can count you as well since you are coming with me as well.
Meredith: yes Lexie I am now let's go and talk to dr Webber and Mark about what is happening tonight.
