They were on a call almost all afternoon and Andy and Robert were restocking the rigs while the rest of the team already headed to shower.

Andy was taking care of things on the ladder while Robert restocked the aid car. They didn't even knew they were the only people left in the barn or this might have ended differently.

But without knowing Robert was still there, Andy left to take a shower. The team was in the beanery talking and discussing who had to cook this evening.

Andy took her shower when she came out of the shower she kept her eyes on the floor trying not to slip as everything was still wet from the team before her, but as she looked up there was Robert.

He turned his head and forgot to breath for a second at the sight of her in nothing but a towel.

A: "Hey"

R: "Uh, I- I can come back."

A: "No,no,no. I'm... I'm done. The water is warm,so..."

R: "Good. Um, it's just a ... a hard shift and I..."

A: "Um, do you wanna talk about it?" She carefully suggested. She wanted to be there for him but they were also separated and she didn't really knew how to act around him and what she was allowed to do or say.

R: "No, no. I'm good. I just need, uh... I just."

Andy could see something was really bugging him.

A: "Come" she took his arm and with the touch electricity went through her body and a warm feeling spread from the touch through her hand, her arm and her entire body.

They walked into a bunk and Robert leaned against the wall closing his eyes for a second. Andy gave him a moment hoping he would open up soon.

R: "O-Okey, I - I love my job, this- this job is everything and I'm very grateful I still get to do it."

A: "I sense a but coming."

R: "But Smokey."

Andy opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out. Was he really upset because of the kitten? He couldn't be right? It's just an animal!

A: "Uhm... really? You are upset because of a cat?"

R: "I...what's wrong about that?"

A: "It's just a cat Robert, you'll be back home with her in the morning."

R: "I know, but she's so young and so attached to me, I really worry about her being without me for so long. She has never been."

A: "well she has before you adopted her." She mumbled quietly.

R: "What?" Robert hadn't understood what she said.

A: "Oh nothing! You chose a great cat sitter, so she'll be fine and you can cuddle her again tomorrow."

R: "Why did you say it like that?"

A: "Like what?"

R: "You sounded jealous." He chuckled.

A: "I am not." She playfully hit him on the arm. "Now go and take your shower you smell."

Andy started making her way out of the bunk but Robert stopped her and had one arm of each side of her against the doorframe.

Robert leaned down to her, stroking his nose against her neck and breathing her in.

A: "Robert- what are you... doing?"

R: "Me? Nothing!" He tried sounding innocent but in his voice you could still hear his desire.

A: "One more month."

R: "One more month."

Andy was tempted, very tempted to give in but she couldn't, because he needed this separation and she wouldn't be the reason they broke rules. She exhaled deeply and slipped out from under his arm.

Robert watched her as she got to her locker and started going through her things. Andy could feel his gaze burning on her skin.

A: "Robert. Shower. Now."

Robert sighed but made his way into the showers.

When he was done and got dressed he went into the beanery where dinner was just ready and he joined the team for the meal.

During the meal he noticed Andy seemed a little nervous and she kept checking her watch, but with the whole team around he couldn't ask her what was going on.

As the team was done eating they stayed at the table chatting, only maya had already left to get back to her paperwork.

M: "Sullivan, someone is here to see you." She guided an older lady into the beanery.

R: "Miss Bouchy! Is everything okey?" Fear and worry rising within him. "Where is Smokey?"

MB: "Oh she's right here." She lifted the cat box a little.

Robert basically jumped up from his chair and quickly got the kitten out of the box.

R: "Hey there little one. Did you miss me? Oh I missed you very much!" He said in a funny voice and for a moment it was completely silent in the beanery while Robert kept petting Smokey.

Only Andy had a wide smile on her face, happy that her plan had worked.

Travis: "Did he really just...?"

Vic: "Oh yes, yes he did."

And the whole team broke out into a loud laugh now about the interaction between Robert and the cat they had just witnessed.

Robert turned around to the team and his face first was a little shocked, the turned into 'seriously' and then a stern look that he had used a million times when he was still battalion chief and it still worked wonders and made the team shut up.

R: "So miss Bouchy, you wanna sit down?"

MB: "That would be lovely."

The two sat down at the table.

R: "Why did you come by?"

MB: "Oh a little birdie told me you were missing her and asked if I might wanna come over for a little visit."

Roberts Heart warmed as he looked at Andy knowing very well that she was the one who organized this.

R: "How?"

A: "When you were in the shower."

R: "Thank you Andy."

He played a little with the kitten and slowly more of the team got up and found something else to do.

As jack was about to leave he stopped behind Andy and leaned down to whisper into her ear.

J: "Looks like someone found a replacement for his wife."

A: "Shut up Gibson." She slapped him hard on the arm and he quickly ran away.

MB: "I think it's getting time to head back for the night."

R: "Oh- Uhm- sure."

He got up and carefully put Smokey into the cAt box. He walked miss Bouchy out to her car and watched her drive away before her got back upstairs.

There was still light in the kitchen and he could see Andy was standing over the sink.

After a quick check that no one was around her stood behind her and took her into his arm.

It took her a little by surprise because she hadn't heard him approach but now she leaned back against his chest.

And maybe for a minute or so they just stood like that, neither moving or saying a word, just enjoying the moment and the touch of each other's body's.

A: "I- I probably should go to bed."

R: "it's only 9 pm."

A: "Robert." She said a little out of breath as his hands started to wander across her body. "Stop."

Robert stopped and let go of Andy, knowing she was right and like always she was stronger than him, more resilient than him.

A: "I'm gonna go to bed, before something happens we will regret tomorrow."

She started walking out of the beanery but when she heard him saying her name she stopped and turned around to him.

R: "Andy, thank you. Thank you for asking miss Bouchy to visit and bring by Smokey. I really needed to see her and I feel much better."

A: "Of course Robert. I could see you were really worried and I just wanted to help my husband."

R: "My wife just always sees right through me." They smiled at each other and the Andy's urge to run to him jump in his arms and connect their lips grew with the second, so she slowly turned around and walked away.
