Jordyn's two week notice was up. The morning after she worked her last shift, Jordyn boarded a plane to St. Louis. Unlike when most people moved there wasn't really a lot to bring. The only things she had were her clothes and a few toiletries. When she got off the plane she went outside holding her suitcase. Randy was waiting for her. He went over to her.
"Hi." He said.
"Hi."
"You shouldn't be carrying anything heavy." He said referencing her suitcase..
"It's not that heavy."
"Can I take it?"
"Yeah." He took it. They kissed.
"I've missed you guys."
"We've missed you to."
"I've spent the last two weeks spreading the good news." "My parents are ecstatic." "I'd take you to meet them but they're on a cruise right now." "Ready to go home?"
"Yeah."
They'd just gotten home. They sat on the couch.
"Here are your keys." Randy said.
"Thanks." "I have something to show you." She took the sonogram out of her purse. "This is the baby." She showed him.
"That's our baby?" He said smiling.
"Yeah."
"That's amazing." "Can we find out what it is?"
"Next month."
"Good." "I have something for you." He took a booklet off the end table and gave it to her. It was a Drivers Ed. Manual. "When you feel comfortable enough you can take the test."
"It would be nice to finally have a license." "Even though I don't have a car."
"Do you want to come on the road with me until your third trimester?"
"Yeah."
"Good."
They went out for a romantic dinner to celebrate moving in together. They just gotten back.
"That was fun." She said.
"I'm just glad we're finally together."
"Me to." "Guess what the doctor said we can do." She said smiling.
"We can?"
"Yes." "Let's go upstairs."
They went upstairs and got on the bed. They were kissing as she unbuttoned his shirt. He stopped and looked at her.
"I love you Jordyn."
"I love you too Randy." They kissed.
