1.) The shuttle in the beginning of the story is the lobby for any Among Us game you play.
2.) Red holds a finger to his lips, and says SHHHHHHHHH! to Green before telling him who he thinks the imposter is.
3.) [This is worth multiple points] Throughout the story, whenever a meeting is called, or a body is reported, the crewmates (or imposters, in some cases) shout out whether it is a body that is reported, or just an emergency meeting.
4.) Orange was in Security because he used the vent in Electric to escape before Green got there.
5.) Black uses a gun to kill Orange, showing he is A) clearly armed, and B) an Imposter.
6.) Several Among Us lingo terms are used throughout the story, mainly at Emergency Meetings and Voting Meetings.
7.) Each of the Imposters is killed in the corresponding manner for each level. (SKELD: ejecting into space, MIRA HQ: being thrown off the launchpad, POLUS: getting tossed into the lava pit.)
8.) Each death is depicted as a mess, with a single bone poking up through the gore.
9.) At the end of Chapter 2, Green describes the melancholy air around him and Red as though they could still hear Yellow's ghost wandering the halls. This refers to the ghosts of the murdered crewmates, and how they must complete the rest of their tasks.
10.) White's intervention in Chapter 9 is referencing the hidden crewmate on the Polus map. If you look in the second stall from the left (The one next to the stall with the door ripped off), there is actually a small gap through which you can see a white crewmate, peeking out from behind the door.
11.) Orange's hesitation to scan and his incompetence in Unlocking Manifolds, references the obvious fact that Imposters can't scan, nor do any other tasks. Also, the sabotages following quickly after Orange's attempts to stop from scanning/unlocking manifolds are a popular diversionary tactic for Imposters, but it's more often than not painfully obvious afterwards that that crewmate is the Imposter.
12.) The snowmen that Lime and Cyan create on Polus refer to the multiple snowmen that are scattered outside on the map Polus. (Fun fact, if you look out the windows in to specimens from admin, you can see an imposter snowman being cornered by crewmate snowmen!)
13.) Throughout each of the three maps, Blue/Green each reminds the other crewmates that there was a boarding pass glitch, and they all need to provide identification at each map. This refers to one of each of the Common Tasks for each map. Card Swipe, ID Number, and Scan Boarding Pass.
14.) Green mentions, when doubting Red's claims that there was an Imposter aboard, that "the doctors" had said that all alien life that had been discovered was passive. This references the various different alien pets that are available in the store.
15.) Blue's bird's nest, mentioned several times throughout the story, is referencing one of the many hats available in the customization menu. The same holds true for Green's fedora, Red's grandfather cap, Orange's Jack-o'-lantern, and Brown's straw hat.
16.) Fun fact! The developers of Among Us (or at least one of the people at Innersloth) mentioned that the three original maps (Skeld, Mira Hq, and Polus) are actually a trio that are supposed to tell a storyline! This is an easter egg that inspired much of this story. (Everyone can claim a point from this one.)
17.) I gave (or at least I did my best to give) each of the Crewmates/Imposters actual Among Us character personalities.
Green: the detective figure, who likes to know all the facts of the case (This is me all over :D).
Blue: the level-headed and calculating one, and natural buddy.
Pink: The player who is deeply attached to her buddy.
Orange: Imposter who times things quite well, until one mistake throws them off the trail and reveals themself.
Black: Stays silent until the general direction of voting takes its course, and agrees whichever way it goes.
Cyan: Cunning, 1000 IQ imposter who lets the other imposters begin revealing themselves first, then blames other crewmates, usually a good actor.
Red: Somehow always seems on top of it even though they have no real proof.
Yellow: Generally clueless as to what they were supposed to do, wandering around aimlessly.
White: The one who knows everything there is to know, but only after its too late.
Lime: the nervous type, the one who always looks out around the corners.
18.) In each of the "acts" (each of the separate maps/rounds) The term "Among Us" is used, describing that another imposter has been found. In fact, this appears several times in each act.
19.) Once on Polus, Brown's hat is described as suddenly having three large icicles hanging off it. This refers to the Polus Adventure bundle's hat, available in the cosmetics shop.
