8. UPDATE REAL IMPORTANT

Hey so, uh... how's it going? I've been... I've been okay! Overworked, tired, and stricken with severe writer's block and the usual seasonal depression but okay!

I really did not expect to take that (looks at notes) four month break, but I was still feeling the burn from Heroes Never Die and around that time I was told by my boss that nobody wanted to work with me cuz apparently, everybody hated me. Sooooo yeah! Kind of a modest blow to the ego, and a major blow to my drive to write this story.

So very little got done. I was picking away at Chapter 8 like a young kid picking at his beans, and I've eventually gotten to a draft that I actually like. So don't worry, My Avengers Academy isn't stopping. I would literally rather die than let this thing die and not reach its conclusion.

The good news is that I've been getting at some semblance of "better" with myself, I've proved myself 10000x over at work, I have friends and my very lovely girlfriend backing me up, and Chapter 8 is finished! But it's not gonna be the Entrance Exam. You guys have been waiting long enough for something so instead of one giant chapter, it's gonna be split in two. But here's the problem, I have something very special planned for Chapter 8. And that thing's progress to being finished is completely out of my control. So chapter 8 won't go up until that is finished. And I know it's gonna be worth the wait.

Also I've noticed that we are ALMOST AT 2,000 HITS

I am truly amazed and blessed. I didn't think anyone would wanna read this niché concept with a unorthodox ship based off of real good fanart. Thank you all so much. You really do make it worth it.

So yeah, I'm really sorry it's been so long but, life be lifing you know? Hopefully I can get this out soon and get chapter 9 out after that since we're coming up on the one year anniversary of the series! I can't wait for that :)

Also when chapter 8 goes up I'll be deleting this update. I'll save it in a Google Doc for HISTORICAL PURPOSES and maybe post the updates in like a separate thing on here when I finish this damn story in about ten years or so.

So this part right here is a little extra for you readers. So unfortunately, due to the nature of this site, the special thing that I'm waiting for cannot be implemented how I want it to be like it can be on Ao3. I mainly post on Ao3 so I'm really sorry that my FFN readers have to wait for something that they're not gonna get. I will, however, link it in the next chapter, though!
