"Why have you called me here?"
Poseidon sighs, "It's about your sister."
Triton looks at him confused, "I have no sister."
"Yes, yes you do. See before I met your mother I fell in love with a mortal."
He goes and tells Triton the story of how he met Michelle's mother. Triton wants to be mad because he looks at his father but as he watches his father he realizes that he can't hold any grudges. Yes his father did father another child but it was before him and he married his mother.
"You still love her?"
Poseidon turns and looks at his son, "Who?"
"Her mother?"
Poseidon looks out at the sea, "To be honest I don't know, It was just something about her. I couldn't explain it even if I wanted to."
Triton looks down, "What about mom?"
"What about your mom, are you asking am I leaving your mother? If so then the answer is no I'm not leaving her. I love her to much. Michelle's mother may have held my heart at one point but I've moved on. Yes I will always have some type of love for her, we had a child together but I will never leave your mother."
He pulls Triton into a hug. Triton hugs him back. They stand there for what seems like forever before they hear movement inside.
"Is that her?"
Poseidon sighs, "Yea it is."
Triton furrows his eyebrows, "What's wrong?"
"She doesn't exactually want anything to do with me."
"What? Who wouldn't want their father to be a god?"
"It's difficult."
They walk inside as she sits up.
Michelle's Point Of View
I groan as I grab my head.
"What in the world?"
I look around and noticed that everything is blue green. I start sitting up as I hear someone come in.
"Whoever you are, I'm in the mood to deal with anything."
I hear people chuckle. I look up and see it's him and someone else.
"What do you want?"
The other guy look looks between us, "Yea she's your daughter."
"Yea I don't think so, and who the hell are you."
He smiles, "I'm Triton. Your brother."
It's like my heart drops. A brother, I have a brother. He was never around yet he was able to go and father another child.
"Yea, I don't think so. I'm an only child. I have no father either."
Triton looks at me with disgust, "You know I was kind of excited to learn I have a sister even if she is my half sister but now I'm not. You are a real…"
I jump up and cut him off, "Finish that sentence I dare you."
The temperature in the room drops, "You don't get to come up in here and say whatever you want to me. You don't know me. You don't know what it's like to watch your mother die in front of you. You obviously don't know what its like to grow up without a father there so you can keep any an all comments to yourself. Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to leave before I do something stupid, again."
I walk past him and shoulder check Poseidon as I walk out. I wasn't expecting it to hurt as bad but it did. I clenched my teeth as I walk out the door trying not to show the pain. I walk out the door and look around. I notice that there are kids everywhere. They are from all different parts of life it looks like.
"It's beautiful isn't it."
