A/N: Amalia is based on Anne of Cleves' real-life sister, Amalia of Cleves. The Beaufort twins are based on Henry VIII's sisters, Margaret Tudor and Mary Tudor, Queen of France. Gina is an OC.
If there was any group of girls who knew how to have fun, it was the Tudor Six. In their spare time, the girls would do many fun activities together such as shopping, spa days, house parties, movie nights, and day trips to local hot spots. Sometimes, they would allow guy friends and/or boyfriends to join them. Other times, it would be a strict girl's day/night where boys were not allowed. One Saturday in November, the Tudor Six embarked on a day when all the girls would spend time together and have loads of fun. Joining them that day were Freckles' younger sister Amalia, Artie's twin sisters Maggie and Mary Beaufort, and Artie's girlfriend Gina Rabinowitz. All ten girls were extremely excited about this day because it was often hard to get all the girls to come together on a Saturday between sporting events, date nights, family gatherings, extracurricular involvements, part-time jobs, and volunteer work. The day was going to be one all ten girls would remember forever and ever.
First on the agenda was shopping at South Shore Plaza. All ten girls bounced around from store to store trying on the latest trends in clothing, footwear, jewelry, and makeup. Additionally, they bought CDs, DVDs, crafting supplies, cookbooks, candles, and posters to add to their purchases. Three hours later, when all the girls were finished shopping, they shared their purchases with each other. Some of the highlights were Freckles' poster of Christian Bale as Batman that made all the girls swoon, Cate's adorable 50s-style ensemble, 5-inch over-the-knee boots that Cat and Kitty purchased, and wool scarves that Jane and Gina bought.
"Well, well, well, well, well…I say we did great with our shopping excursions, and we burned about a million calories running like maniacs and trying on all those clothes," Cat joked.
"I know, right?! That is why shopping should be considered a form of high-intensity exercise. It burns just as many calories as swimming and sex do," Annie added with a deadpan delivery.
Following Annie's comment, Kitty burst into a fit of laughter which was then followed by the rest of the girls laughing along with her.
About two minutes later, when all the laughter had died down and the girls gained their composure, Kitty said to Annie, "Phew! That was a good one, Cous!"
"No problem," Annie replied with a sense of pride in her deadpan comedy.
Feeling her stomach growl, Gina said, "Girls, I don't know about you, but I am starving!"
"Same here, girlfriend. Let's head to the food court," Jane said.
"YEEEEESSSS, SISTA! We're all famished," Freckles enthusiastically chimed in.
After looking at her phone to see what time it was, Cate said, "Well, of course we are! It's 12:30 already. Food court, here we come!"
As soon as the girls hit the food court, they were overcome by the smells of all the food being prepared. Some of the girls craved burgers and fries, while others were yearning for meatball subs and Philly cheesesteaks, and others fancied Chinese food.
Maggie and Mary Beaufort, however, were contemplating on which salads they wanted when they heard someone from behind them say, "Ahem!"
It was Amalia, and she was disappointed that her fellow sophomores were ordering their usual salads on a day the girls were supposed to have fun and splurge together.
Maggie, the shorter and more petite twin with auburn hair and dark brown eyes, then asked Amalia, "WHAT?! What's the big idea?"
"A friggin' salad? On our girl's day? Really?! You two need to live a little! We're only sophomores in high school, damn it! Remember the saying 'Have you cake and eat it, too?' Well, today is meant for just that. And you both know that you two will burn off everything we eat today and tonight at cheerleading practice on Monday and then some," Amalia ranted.
After rolling her eyes and shaking her head with disbelief at her two friends' food choices, she then added, "Come on, girls! What do you really crave for lunch?"
Moved by Amalia's persuasion, Mary, the taller twin with red hair and grey eyes, said, "Truth be told, Amalia Badalia, we are seriously craving Chinese food. Lots and lots of noodles with orange chicken on a bed of rice."
"With egg rolls! Can't forget about those yummy egg rolls," Maggie added.
"Now that's more like it, girls! Let's get some delicious grub," Amalia said happily.
When the girls finished their meals, they chatted about their plans for the rest of the day. Cat offered to host a sleepover at her place since her parents were away in Boston for the weekend to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. It was going to be an awesome night as the girls planned to do each other's hair and nails, use facial masks, watch movies, pig out on pizza and snacks, do some karaoke, and discuss many topics related to boys, dating, and sex. After about a half hour of chatting, the girls parted ways to go home and relax and get homework done before their night of fun together.
The evening was a total blast for the girls. All their hair and nails came out beautifully. They sang many great songs, including "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper. They enjoyed many different types of pizza from Pie in the Sky. They took a bunch of silly pictures together and posted them on Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace.
At one point in the evening, Cat mentioned that she really enjoyed being handcuffed to the bedpost when she and JP tried using handcuffs during sex the week prior.
"I told ya that you two would enjoy that! It's always a hit with me and Harry," Annie bragged.
Cat then added, "It gets hotter! JP also roleplayed as a police officer giving me a pat down and trying to arrest me. Oooooh, I got so hot and bothered by the time he placed the handcuffs on my wrist!"
"I think we are all hot and bothered now after hearing about that! Damn, girl! I am going to try using chocolate syrup and whipped cream on my body the next time I get it on with Artie. I read in Cosmo that guys really do love that," Gina said.
"They really do! I know from experience. I did it a couple of times with Logan before we broke up," Freckles added.
"So that's why there was no chocolate syrup and whipped cream in the fridge when I wanted to make myself an ice cream sundae the next night," Amalia freshly blurted out.
"Oh, shush," Freckles said as she playfully threw a pillow in her sister's direction.
Mary then asked, "Is sex really that fun and that exciting?"
"It truly is! It is awkward and hurts a little bit the first time, but sex is amazing after your cherry gets popped," Cate said.
"Good to know! I will keep that in mind for when I start dating again and I end up reaching that point in my relationship with someone," Mary said feeling reassured.
"Totally! Amalia and I have felt nervous about taking it to that level with our boyfriends, too," Maggie added.
Amalia nodded in agreement.
Jane then said, "That's completely normal. I was in the same boat as you guys when I lost my virginity to Mike. After that first time, it didn't hurt anymore, and sex became less awkward as time went on if you know what I mean."
"Yeah, we get it," Amalia said.
"Whew! Now I am completely hot and bothered after hearing all this talk about sex. I totally need to douse myself with cold water," Kitty exclaimed as she fanned herself.
All the girls laughed at Kitty's remark.
At around 3 in the morning, the girls decided it was time to get some sleep. The whole day was perfect, and they went to sleep satisfied that they all shared a wonderful day together.
