Love of the Sister

It was 2136 in Japan, the world was rotting away slowly as the most rich people on earth probably thought about how to leave the planet to its doom and go somewhere else. But that is another story.

In a small apartment a brown haired man sat on a couch, a gamepad in his hands.

"This is truly old school… but Mei-chan is so cute! I should play this more often…"

The man said to himself.

"The hell are you doing perverted brother of mine? I already told you I don't want to see your loli shit on the tv! Go use your VR!"

The female voice came from behind the couch, there stood a short girl who didn't seem more than 16, she had pink hair and blue eyes.

"Hey sis! You going out?"

The man asked as he ignored her comment.

"Don't ignore me you moneysucker!"

She said as a vein popped out on her forehead.

"C'mon sis you know my VR is broken, I just thought that using some of the old consoles wouldn't hurt."

He said as his eyes never left the tv screen.

"Why do I need to have such a useless excuse of a brother?!"

She raged.

"Oh… you are the one to talk, what would mom and dad say about you dyeing your hair? Or voicing hentai stuff for a living?"

He accused.

"Humph! Always better than being 30, not having a job, not having a girlfriend and begging your sister for money!"

She said with a smirk.

"… that's hurt you know?..."

The brother mumbled.

"So are you going on a date with that pedo guy?"

He asked, she snarled.

"He is not a pedo!"

She almost screamed.

"If he is dating you he is."

The brother continued calmly.

"I'm 32!"

She said angrily.

"You look like you are 16 though."

As his words left his mouth a small punch hit him hard on the face.

"Ouch! That's hurt you idiot!"

He screamed as he covered his face.

"Respect your elders! And don't comment on a lady's body, no wonder you haven't got a girlfriend!"

She said.

"Speaks the one who had a crush for 8 years and said nothing!"

At his words, the sister actually blushed.

"I-It has only been a p-phase!"

She stuttered.

"Yeah, sure… I remember how you begged me not to tell Momonga-san."

He said with sadistic satisfaction in his tone.

"You even put it in that NPC description, how you wanted her to be-"

"Finish that phrase and I swear, you will not be able to use your hands for a month!"

The sister interrupted him with a low dangerous voice.

"Ok ok… but you should not be dating people if you already are into someone else."

He said rising his hands in defence.

"For the last time! I'm no longer into him!"

She screamed.

"Yeah sure… as you say… has he answered to that date mail you sent him last week?"

Her brother said with a smirk, she went crimson both in embarrassment and rage.

"You… you read it… you… FUCK YOU!"

She screamed enraged.

"Ohoh… I didn't know you were into that… actually incest is one of my favor-"

His phrase was interrupted by another punch in the face.

{Great Underground Tomb of Nazarick: 6th Floor: Great Tree House}

Aura opened her eyes, the left blue and right green, opposed to her twin's.

She yawned as she took off her bed's blanket, as every morning she went to the bathroom to wash her face and change from her light blue pajamas into her normal clothes.

It has been few weeks since she, Shalltear and Ainz returned from the Dwarven Kingdom, since they came back she began to feel strange, everytime she was in the same room as Ainz her heart started beating faster and faster, everytime he addressed her she felt hot inside, eveytime he said her name she felt all dizzy.

She didn't understand what was happening; also she began to dream often about her memories of Ainz, when she and Mare were allowed to sit on his lap and when they went to the forest of Tob, 'I love you too Aura…' as her Master's words came back to her mind her face flushed red and she felt a strange sensation in her stomach.

Shaking her head as if to send away those thoughts she proceeded to descend the stairs reaching the living room of the Tree House, of course Mare wasn't there, her brother loved to sleep a lot in their free day, she had a simple breakfast and decided to go see her pets.

She jumped from tree to tree as she used her enhanced senses to locate her beasts, some of them were near the great lake while other were in a clearing deep in the forest, she decided to visit first the ones near the lake.

As she reached them she immediately noticed the hamster named by her Lord, Hamsuke lying on the grass with her eyes closed, not far from her was Fenrir and one of her dragons, under a great tree ten meters from them there was her newest pet, Hejinmal, the fat frost dragon who loved reading.

She felt like since he arrived here the frost dragon connected far more with Mare than her, but she didn't mind as long as he served Nazarick with all he had.

She left the sleeping hamster alone and gestured to her other pets if they needed something, the giant wolf and orange dragon shook their heads, so she proceeded to approach the frost dragon.

Due to his size and the fact he was reading he didn't even notice her arrival, that was something that should be corrected, she couldn't let him get so careless, what if the one approaching was her Lord?

"Hey Hejinmal!"

She called out, the dragon rose his head to see who called him, as soon as he noticed her he tried to compose himself as much as he could.

"L-Lady Aura! I didn't notice you… good morning."

He finally spoke, Aura nodded to answer his greeting.

"You should be more aware of your surroundings, what if I was Ainz-sama? Be more careful from now on okay"

She said, the dragon seemed scared at the thought of that situation.

"Yes of course! Forgive me!"

He said nodding vigorously, Aura smiled, then a thought came to her mind.

"Say you read a lot right?"

She asked casually, the dragon nodded.

"Do you know about any strange illness that cause heart beat to increase, feeling warmth inside and the appearance of a dizzy sensation in your head?"

She asked, the dragon thought for a moment before struggling a bit.

"ummm… nothing comes to mind right now, it could be some simple fever."

Aura nodded but already knew that it wasn't possible, her equipment made her immune to all illnesses, she was curious if in this world there was some unknown illness that caused these symptoms.

"By the way, do you need anything?"

She asked changing the subject of the conversation.

"Oh no, I'm very grateful for the space you gave me, I would not ask anymore of you Lady Aura, there is just one thing, if you see Lord Mare could you please tell him to come and see me? I just finished this book that he gave me and I would like to discuss it with him."

The dragon said, Aura just made a gesture to say she understood before leaving.

{Two hours later}

{Nazarick 9th floor}

Aura was walking down a corridor, a specific destination in mind, a place of knowledge beyond imagination, where Mare spent many hours before; Ashurbanipal.

As she passed the great door her vision was filled by mountains of books, she could barely see the celling, there were hundreds of bookshelves around her, even if she never enjoyed reading like Mare she couldn't help but be in awe before such a majestic display of knowledge 'such is the level of the Supreme Beings, there is no way to reach them' she thought.

"Aura-sama."

A raspy voice attracted her attention, next to her stood a Skeleton Mage, one of the guardians of the library, Titus Annaeus Secundus.

"Hey Titus, have you seen Mare yet?"

She asked, the skeleton shook his head.

"No Aura-sama, Mare-sama didn't arrive yet, is this the reason of your visit if I may ask?"

Aura hesitated for a moment before answering.

"Well… you see… I came here to know if there were information about a certain thing…"

She began, the skeleton waited for her to continue.

"It has been some time since I began experiencing strange stuff, my heartbeat suddenly increases, I feel warm inside and my head feels dizzy."

She explained, Titus thought for few moments.

"I heard of similar symptoms associated to some status effects but I don't think that they would be able to affect you Aura-sama, are your items functioning the right way?"

He asked.

"Yeah, I think they are, I didn't experience any other thing apart from those."

She said, Titus hummed.

"I will look deeper into this matter, even we, the guardians of the library, possess only part of the knowledge contained Inside these halls, the only ones who can claim to possess it all are the Supreme Beings after all; I will immediately begin to research this matter."

The skeleton declared; Aura smiled.

"Okay, let me know if you find anything."

With that she left the library and began to walk through various corridors, now unsure of what to do exactly, at some point she heard various voices coming from a room, she decided to investigate only to find few maids seated at a table, she recognized some of them.

"-and then her heart began to beat fast and she felt blood rush to her face as his face almost closed the distance between them, her head felt dizzy and-"

The only who was speaking was Foire, those words hit Aura hard, how did Foire know how she felt? She decided to enter in the room and approach the table, then she noticed that Foire had a book in her hands and was probably reading from that.

"Give me that!"

She immediately exclaimed before she could contain herself, all the maids turned toward her, startled by the loud tone she used.

"A-Aura-sama?"

One asked surprised by her presence, but Aura didn't want to play around, she wanted to know what was happening to her, and like many kids her age, she didn't want to wait any longer than it was necessary.

"Give me the book."

She repeated, this time with a tone less threatening.

"W-why?"

Asked Foire confused by her sudden change in demeanour.

"That is a book on illnesses, isn't it? I am experiencing a similar illness, now give me the book."

She was becoming more and more impatient.

"N-n-no Aura-sama, this i-isn't a book on i-illnesses."

One of the other maids said.

"What? Don't lie to me, I listened, you were describing just my illness moments ago!"

Aura was truly beginning to get angry, if they didn't give her the book in the next three seconds she might snap and take it herself.

"A-Aura-sama, could you tell me a-about your i-illness?"

Asked Foire, Aura took a deep breath and closed her eyes a moment to calm herself, losing control would not help her in this situation.

"Well, these last weeks I experienced my heartbeat increasing in various situation, at the same time I felt really warm inside and my head felt dizzy all of a sudden."

The maids stayed silent for a few seconds before Foire spoke again.

"D-does this h-happen when you are around a s-specific p-person?"

She asked, Aura's eyes shined.

"Yes! I knew it was in that book, give it to me now!"

She exclaimed taking a step toward the maids, she noticed some of them blushed heavily while others began to giggle.

" is it? Why are you all acting weird all of a sudden?"

She asked, now confused, Foire thought for a few moments before answering.

"Aura-sama… you are in love."

The maid said, silence fell in the room for three seconds.

"EEEEEEEHHHHHHHH?!"

Aura's voice exploded into the room, now there was a heavy blush on her face too.

"NO! it is impossible! Give me that book!"

She demanded, Foire this time gave her the book, she opened it on a random page and began to read only to stop after few lines.

"What is this?"

She asked confused.

"It is a romance book, it is a story of two lovers, a noble lord and his servant, a forbidden relationship."

The maid explained, now Aura was speechless, that was impossible, was she truly in love? But that meant 'n-no… am I in love with… Ainz-sama? W-what is this, why I feel strange now? But this sensation isn't all that bad now… NO! I must know for sure and… there is only a person I can ask… damn it! Why her?!' as she concluded her thought she placed the book on the table and immediately left the room.

{One hour later}

{Nazarick 3rd floor}

Aura never liked the first three floor of Nazarick they were to dark and full of undead, not that she disliked undeads of course! Well maybe a little… but Ainz was the exception! Her Lord was the best!

Not that she came there often, she had to even ask for directions a couple times, finally she reached her destination, Shalltear's room.

Not wanting to stay there more than necessary she didn't even knock and just opened the door, what greeted her was the scene of her surrogate little sister stepping on one of her vampire brides who was laying on the ground.

"The hell are you doing fake tits?"

As soon as Shalltear heard her voice she jumped in surprise and turned toward her.

"S-Shorty? What are you doing here? And why didn't you knock?!"

She asked confused at first but annoyed immediately after.

"I came here… to ask you for help…"

It took a lot of pride to say that out loud, even Shalltear was shocked for a moment before a sly smile appeared on her face.

"My… My… what could I help you with shorty? Have you finally understood who the best battler is and came here for tips?"

She gloated; Aura felt partly happy that she regained some of her previous confidence after their expedition but a greater part of her felt very annoyed at her attitude.

"You… I helped you with Ainz-sama… you could just listen and help me."

As she said that Shalltear's smile fell replaced by a serious expression, apparently that memory held a certain importance in her mind, she quickly dismissed her vampire brides leaving only the two of them in the room.

Shalltear offered her a place to seat next to her on her bed, Aura accepted and sat there in silence for few seconds.

"So… what is this about?"

The vampire asked, Aura wondered for a moment if this was the right thing to do but then decided it was time to put an end to this.

"H-How do you know for certain if you a-are in l-love?"

She stuttered a bit but managed to maintain a somewhat normal tone, Shalltear looked at her for a moment before bursting into laugher.

"Pffffffff ahahahahahahAHAHAHAHAHAHAH YOU ARE IN LOVE?! AHAHAHAHAHAH THAT IS TOO FUNNY! YOU OF ALL PEOPLE AHAHAAHAHAHAH…"

Aura felt her cheeks grow hotter and hotter before she snapped.

"I DON'T KNOW OKAY? THAT IS WHY I'M HERE! STOP LAUGHING AND TELL ME HOW I CAN CONFIRM IT!"

She screamed, it took at least another minute for Shalltear to calm down and then a thoughtful expression appeared on her face.

"Well… when Ainz-sama is around… I get… wet…"

She said, Aura looked at her for a moment.

"What do you mean you get wet?"

She asked not understanding how the two things were correlated, a sheepishly expression appeared on the vampire face.

"You know… down there…"

She said gesturing her lower parts with a hand.

"Wait… you pee yourself?"

Aura asked in disbelief, now it was Shalltear's turn to blush.

"NO YOU IDIOT I DIDN'T MEAN… you… you… listen just kiss them and see if you like it! Okay?!"

She cried out, Aura's mind was blown away.

"K-k-k-kiss?!"

She stuttered as her face grew even hotter than before, she wished there was another way, but she had no one else to ask, Albedo was currently in the Kingdom and she knew no one else who knew about love.

"O-okay i-I will do it!"

She finally declared before standing up from the bed and walking toward the door.

"Who."

Was the only thing Shalltear said, Aura turned.

"What?"

She asked confused.

"Who is it? The one you think you love?"

Asked the vampire curious, Aura blushed a bit.

"Well… he is….. thank you Shalltear bye!"

She run out of the door.

"HEY WAIT!"

That was the only thing she heard before she was running away full speed.

{Three hours later}

{Nazarick 9th floor}

Aura stood before the closed door of her Lord's office, after what Shalltear told her she wanted to have some time to think about it but she realized that she couldn't.

These days Ainz was alone only for the fact that Albedo was busy in the Kingdom, once she returned Aura would not have the opportunity to be alone with him.

Taking a deep breath helped her calm her nerves a bit, she steeled her mind 'I need to be sure… I need to know…' with her conviction renewed she rose her hand and knocked on the door.

"Who is it?"

Asked the deep voice of her Master, she immediately felt chills go down her spine, both fear and excitement filled her.

"It's me Aura, Ainz-sama, can i come in?"

She asked as professionally as she could.

"Yes of course come in."

He answered, she immediately entered in the room and closed the door behind her, her Lord sat behind his desk surrounded by various piles of documents.

"How can I help you Aura?"

He asked, those red dots now fixed on her form, she blushed a bit as she felt her heartbeat increase once more, everytime he said her name she felt all dizzy, her heart sang in happiness and she felt more… feminine.

She approached him until she stood next to him, his imposing figure was always majestic no matter how many times she saw it, it always inspired awe and respect from her.

"Ah… uhm… Ainz-sama… is this a good moment to… speak? I can come back another time if you want."

She said as she glanced at all those papers on his desk, Ainz shook his head.

"No no it's fine."

As he said those words his skeletal hands gently grabbed her waist and lifted her up placing her on his lap, Aura, who didn't expect that, was blushing madly at his gesture, she felt like she couldn't speak and her heart was beating like never before, this was the first time she was alone with her Lord since the forest.

"You seem troubled… tell me, what is it?"

He asked, of course her Lord could clearly see through her, how could she hope to fool him.

"Ah… uhm… A-A-Ainz-sama, d-do you remember w-what you t-told me when we w-were coming b-back from the D-Dwarven Kingdom? A-About a r-reward?"

She managed to say 'stupid! Remain calm! What is he going to think if you stutter like that!' she cried in her head.

"Ah, yes, I remember, for your good work I promised you a reward, you had refused before, did you come up with something? Is there something you would like?"

He asked, his tone seemed surprised, but Aura was too busy trying to stay calm to notice, she felt like she had butterflies in her stomach 'i-I can do it! J-just say it damnit!' she forced her mouth open and looked away from her Lord visage, too embarrassed to face him.

"I-I would l-like a… a… …"

She mumbled, she was sure that her face was completely red by now, silence descended in the room for few seconds.

"Uhm, c-could you repeat that, I think I may have misheard you."

Her Lord said as she felt his gaze on her intensify, she felt like her whole body was no fire 'it is now or never!' with the last strength she had she turned toward her Lord.

"I w-would like a k-kiss from y-you Ainz-sama p-please!"

She almost shouted, silence descended once more in the room, it lasted only few seconds but for Aura it felt like an eternity.

"A-Are you sure about it?"

Her Lord asked, she couldn't bring herself to answer so she simply nodded, more silence, Aura felt like she was being rejected, she felt tears form in her eyes 'of course… how can I compete with Albedo and that stupid Vampire? I have no charm… nothing…'.

"I'm s-sorry Ainz-sama, I s-shouldn't have as-"

"Well then if that is your choice."

Ainz interrupted her, she turned toward him, did he just accept? Was she going to give her first kiss to Ainz-sama? She saw his face coming closer to hers 'Wait! Wait! Ainz-sama I'm not ready!' she screamed in her head, in that moment her heart seemed ready to jump out of her chest, she shut her eyes and perked up her lips a bit, ready to receive her first kiss.

In the next instant she felt something cold be pressed against her forehead, she opened her eyes only to see her Lord's bare teeth pressed gently against her forehead.

In that moment she felt at peace with the world, she felt like never before, a little smile appeared involuntarily on her face, it lasted only few seconds and then her Lord retreated to his previous position.

In someway she got her answer, she wasn't sure if it was love but she knew one thing, she wanted to be together with Ainz and no one would get in her way, she will stay by his side because that was what she wanted, she will learn about those new feelings she was experiencing, for she felt was where she belonged, between the arms of her Lord.

Okay, I know I shouldn't do it but I will say it anyway, of course Aura's feelings have nothing sexual behind them, it is just a childish crush. (that I must specify to avoid any nasty reviews about this)

Okay we finally came to the end of this special, it took me almost a month to complete it and well, I can say I'm satisfied, it isn't the best but it is good enough.

This whole story was written with my desire to see more love in 2021, hoping for a fast release from the curse that is Covid-19, I wanted to bring a little bit of love even to a rotten world like the one in Overlord; also this is my first attempt at any normal romance so I'm anxious to see your opinions!
