Later on in the afternoon after everyone had breakfast. There wasn't much to do that day. Washu was making sure to keep an eye out about Gabriel's progression on how her serum may have changed or altered when she knew the serum had shown that his healing ability to his body inside and outside had been accelerated and changed and that he's able to run faster than any human should or faster than any human would be allowed to.

Gabriel was outside and both Sasami and Mihoshi were outside with him. The rest of the women were watching them from a hiding place without Gabriel, Sasami and Mihoshi knowing.

"So Tenchi says you're an American?" asked Mihoshi.

Gabriel was wearing a black T-shirt and blue jean shorts with the sandals that he had packed with him. Them comfortable feeling hiking and trekking sandals. His sandals were waterproof and were made for outdoors, they were anti-slip and adjustable, opened toed and athletic looking as the soles to the sandals were made of rubber. His sandals were looking like they were the best quality and felt really comfortable to his feet.

"Just me and my mom." answered Gabriel.

"And what part of America are you and your mom hailing from?" asked Sasami curiously.

"Brooklyn, New York. Well, my mom is and I just happened to have the background of the location. I've been there before once or twice, or more." answered Gabriel. "But we do have Italian in us. Our ancestors came from Italy and settled in America but apparently, we found out we got family here in Japan as well. From what little my mom said. Some of our family members been down here and possibly fell in love, got married and had children here but she told me that was decades ago."

As the other ladies were listening in, they felt as though they were learning more about Gabriel out of curiosity.

"When was this?" asked Mihoshi.

"Seventy years ago." answered Gabriel.

"And what's America like?" asked Sasami.

The other adult women were listening in intently. Ryoko felt as though she really wanted to know more and so did Ayeka.

"Well, the entertainment varies. Films, television shows, cartoons, books, video games. It all varies but it's full of surprises and entertaining. The food, well, we do have a lot of foreign food imported from other countries, some food that originated from America. I'd suggest you stay away from any of the food that makes one person gain way too much if you have it too often. But we do have ways of keeping in shape and all, but we did learn some secrets to losing weight faster in a safer method by other countries. Politics in our country...I'd rather not go into that. In short: All politics does is cause conflict and negativity, so I don't associate with politics. Our government? We got some good and bad people in our government, some of them try to help the little people, like us, and some of them tend to be no good for anyone, I'd rather not go into details. We got some good music back there. Rock and pop are the most popular. I do love rock and pop music." Gabriel continued.

Even Sasami and Mihoshi were showing interest as Gabriel was stretching his body like he was doing a work out.

"National sport?" asked Sasami.

"Well, baseball is our past time. But it's not just strictly baseball, there's football, soccerball, basketball, hockey, tennis, golf, wrestling, race car driving." said Gabriel listing off some sports.

"Tenchi told us about some of them but is it true some of them sports are a bit violent?" asked Sasami.

"I'd be lying if I said no. Some sports get a bit intense and the worst anyone could get is a broken arm or leg if they're not too careful but the sports players are mostly coordinated." Gabriel reassured them. "But man are the sports players huge."

"Huge, how so?" asked the two curiously.

"Some of them are tall, muscular and huge in the body. Shaquille O'Neal, he's a basketball player and he's seven feet and one inch in height but he's muscular. That guy could probably bench press five people my size." Gabriel said while making a joke.

Both Sasami and Mihoshi smiled at the joke.

"Should I lift weights or five people less than six feet tall?" joked Gabriel. "Lifting a person or more isn't a seven weight."

Both Sasami and Mihoshi laughed a bit while Ryoko, Ayeka and Kiyone was silently but trying their bests not to burst out loud laughing so they wouldn't get found out.

"Makes me wonder if there's anything you always wanted to do." said Sasami.

Hearing the question did give Gabriel an idea in mind as he had imagined one of the things he's always wanted to do but never got to do it.

"Well, I've never been to a carnival before. As embarrassing as this may sound. My mom always got worried that I'd run into trouble at one of them." Gabriel told them.

They suddenly looked at him with a stunned bit of shock. He never had been to a carnival before? Made them wonder what else did his mom not let him do because of her overprotective nature.

"Why would she not allow that?" asked Mihoshi.

"A few years back or more there was an incident with a carnival ride at an actual carnival. The ride was harmless but there must have been a malfunction with the ride or the control panel to the ride that happened, next thing you know, over two dozen people were stuck on the ride. Took them hours to get them all safely on the ground. Luckily for them, no one got hurt." Gabriel explained blushing. "Ever since than, my mom worried about me going to a carnival which I know it's embarrassing for me to admit."

Gabriel did look ashamed to admit this but Sasami came over to him and pulled him in for a hug, causing him to blush a bit deeper. He felt as though he had no idea how to react to this as he seemed to be still warming up to the rest of the women in the house.

"There might be some good news to that." Sasami said.

"What's the news?" asked Gabriel curiously.

"We actually have a carnival coming into town or at least here at the shrine once every year. Tenchi shown me what it's like and it's a lot of fun." explained Sasami.

"You should go with us there when it comes here." Mihoshi suggested.

"Will everyone else be going too?" asked Gabriel.

"Big time!" the two ladies told him in unison.

Gabriel started to think for a moment. The carnival coming into town soon and even though his mom was worried he'd get into trouble if he goes to one but his mother was still out of town for the time being and while he loves his mother, he didn't like having to keep secrets from his mother but he knew from the reassurance from everyone about talking to his mother about letting him have more freedom to do more with his life had stifled his fear and worry a bit.

"If it's happening here. Than I guess if anything goes down, we'll at least be able to find each other and we won't be too far away from each other." said Gabriel feeling some reassurance.

"I know you don't like keeping secrets from your mom but it's kind of like what Washu said. What momma doesn't know won't hurt her." said Mihoshi.

"Lets hope she doesn't bite anyone's head off when she finds out." said Gabriel worried for the ladies.

Sasami giggled with a grin and went in to kiss Gabriel on his cheeks and forehead, causing Gabriel to blush deeply.

"When is this carnival?" Gabriel asked with surprised chuckle.

"Two days from now?" came Tenchi's voice.

They turned to see Tenchi coming from the house and outside. He apparently overheard them talking about the carnival coming up from what he said.

"How long have you been listening?" asked Gabriel feeling tense.

"I just walked in and heard you talking about the upcoming carnival. I know your mom has her reasons for why she doesn't want you getting hurt or in hot water but going to an actual carnival will be fun. The worst thing that could happen if people getting hyper active if they had too much sugar." Tenchi answered while giving a word of reassurance.

"But I never had sugar before. Well, I never had candy before ether." said Gabriel blushing for admitting such a thing.

They looked at him and were surprised to hear him admit that he never had candy or sugar. He probably never had soda ether.

"What about cake on your birthday?" asked Sasami.

"Sure, she made sure it was sugar free though. Still tasted good but my guess is she wants to make sure I'm healthy or that the sugar doesn't make me go insane." Gabriel stated.

"Well, it won't kill anyone to have a bit of sugar from time to time, especially at a carnival." said Tenchi showing some reassurance. "If your mom finds out, we'll talk to her about it."

Gabriel felt a sense of excitement knowing that he'll be going to this upcoming carnival and be able to have some fun, something he felt like he was deprived of.

"Hopefully, my mom won't lose it if and when she finds out." said Gabriel hopefully.

The women that were listening in peeks through the patio window doors and opened the doors to walked outside. Gabriel suddenly felt his excitement growing as he ran out towards the dock that lead to the lake that was near the house. What they saw was something they'd expect in a super hero film. Gabriel did several back flips as he made his way towards the water. Than he jumped forwards, they saw him jump twelve feet into the air as he made a few more flips, his long hair flowing with his body movements and he dived into the water, making a loud splash.

They waited for him to come back out of the water as a few minutes ticked by yet they saw him came out of the water like a speeding torpedo being launched out of a submarine. He had jumped up sixteen feet into the air this time as he landed on the wooden dock, landing on his feet. He shook his body quickly like a dog and it got him mostly dried off. Afterwards, he let out a loud whooping sound.

"I take it someone's excited and on fire." came Ryoko's voice.

They all turned to see the rest of the girls that were eavesdropping and Gabriel made his way over to them as he saw the rest of the women who were listening in on them.

"Were you ladies eavesdropping?" chuckled Gabriel.

Ryoko, Ayeka and Kiyone both blushed and turned their heads side ways a little. They were found out immediately.

"No!" said Ryoko, Ayeka and Kiyone nervously.

Gabriel laughed as Ryoko knew that he found them out.

"Okay, you got us. But it was Ayeka's idea." Ryoko chuckled.

"It was not!" said Ayeka annoyed.

"Yes it was." argued Ryoko.

"No it wasn't." Ayeka shot back.

Gabriel burst out laughing at what he was seeing as if he saw the two were doing a comedy act. This caused them to stop arguing and to look confused.

"They're so funny together! Hahahahaha!" laughed Gabriel.

"I think you two somehow unintentionally make him laugh." said Tenchi.

They saw how Gabriel was laughing and the two women seem to notice that the way they argue about some things may be considered funny like a comedy act. They all knew that not only is the carnival coming soon but they know this was going to be Gabriel's first carnival. What Tenchi didn't know is that he should tell Gabriel about the last time they were at a carnival as it was a bit chaotic.
