It has been a few couple of months now since I and Aurora met Maleficent for the first time. after we had some time to bond, Maleficent adopted us as her daughters after my mom and my dad the king and queen died. well actually, the queen died.

but my dad King Stephon did not die. only Aurora thinks both our parents are dead. my Aunties told me not to tell Aurora that our father is still alive. It is now a couple of days before our curse. and our birthday. I am currently at the moors, behind the throne wall with Maleficent and Aurora.

we are sitting at a pond admiring the creatures. I still had my mind on the curse. "Mom?" I said. "Yes, Lana?" Maleficent said. "Can I talk to you for a minute? in private?" I said. "Sure. Aurora, stay here with Davial. I and Lana will be right back" Maleficent said.

Maleficent and I walked to a private spot in the moors to talk. "What did you want to talk about Lana?" Maleficent said. "Well...I was wondering. have you found a way to stop,

the curse from happening in a couple of days?" I said. "No Lana. I haven't found a way to reverse the curse yet. I cursed you two so the curse could not be defeated. the only,

way to wake you guys up from the curse it to have a true loves kiss" Maleficent said. "Okay. but I don't have a girlfriend mom" I said. "A girlfriend? don't you mean boyfriend?"

Maleficent said. "Yeah about that...I am gay mom. I like girls instead of boys" I said. "Oh. I see. either way, I think it will work, boy or girl" Maleficent said. "Yeah. I haven't,

told you that I was gay because I didn't know how you would react" I said. "Oh. well, I support you Lana. have you told you family and your sister yet?" Maleficent said.

"yes. a while ago. they support me. well everyone except for my husband who was really angry about it" I said. "Oh okay. well, let's go back to the others" Maleficent said.

"Okay, mom" I said. Maleficent took my hand and we walked to where Aurora and Davail were. "Hey, guys" I said. "Hey, Lana" Davail said. "Hey sis" Aurora said. "wanna go,

see some more parts of the moors?" I said. "Sure" Aurora said. "Yeah sounds good to me" Davail said. "follow me" Maleficent said. Maleficent brought us to a muddy spot in,

the moors. Some waterblogs walked up to us. Aurora and I greeted them. Aurora was giving them a flower when mud splashed on her. Aurora gasped and looked behind her.

the waterblogs behind her threw mud at her. I burst out laughing. "Shut up Lana" Aurora said playfully. "Let me show you how a pro throws mud" Aurora said. Aurora picked up some mud and threw it at a waterblog and they fell over. "Damn" I said.

"let me try" I said. I picked up some mud and threw it at a waterblog and he fell in here too. I smiled. me, Aurora, and the waterblogs got in a mud fight. Davail joined in too. Maleficent smiled as she watched us. I fell in the mud a few times.

my clothes were dirty now. I picked up some mud and tried to throw it at Aurora, but I accidentally threw it at Maleficent. "Shit" I cussed. Maleficent smirked at me and used her magic and splashed mud on my face. I fell over. I brushed the mud off my face.

"Mom what the hell?!" I said. Maleficent said nothing and laughed. after we had our fun in the mud we went to a river to get ourselves cleaned up. Maleficent dried my clothes,

off with her magic. I walked up to her. "Time to go home now" Maleficent said. "Okay, goodnight mom" I said. "Goodnight Lana" Maleficent said. she then used her magic,

and put me to sleep.

when I woke up I noticed I was in my bed. it is still nighttime. my husband, Scar was sleeping next to me. I then was hearing some loud noises coming from Aurora's room.

I stood up and walked to her room. I gasped in shock. my mom, Maleficent was trying to revoke the curse. yellow and green smoke was floating around the room.

"I REVOKE THE CURSE! LET IT BE NO MORE! I REVOKE THE CURSE! LET IT BE NO MORE! LET IT BE NO MORE!" Maleficent screamed. the two colors met together and,

the smoke stopped. "Mom?" I said. "This curse will last till the end of time. no power on earth can change it" A voice whispered. I walked up to Maleficent. "Mom?" I said.

she had tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry Lana. I failed you" Maleficent said. "It's okay mom. we will figure this out" I said. Maleficent picked me up, and carried me to my room.

she set me down in my bed next to Scar, and pulled the covers over me. she kissed me on my forehead and used her magic to put me to sleep.

It is the next morning and I woke up to the smell of breakfast and woke up. I looked at my calendar on my phone. it is April 25th, 2026. It is the day before my 26th birthday. I gasped. the day before my curse. well, I better enjoy every last minute of these couple of days before tomorrow's sunset.

I woke up Scar. "Urgh. what Lana?" Scar said. "Scar, it's my birthday tomorrow" I said. "So? I don't care. let me go back to sleep" Scar said. "But...Aren't you gonna get me something for my birthday tomorrow?" I said. Scar growled at me. he hit me hard in the face and shocked me. I cried in pain.

"I don't care about your damn birthday, Lana! Now let me go back to sleep!" Scar yelled. tears were streaming down my face. Scar did not care about me at all. Scar gave me another shock. I cried in pain again. "Yes Scar" I said. "Good.

now do not bother me again or else you're grounded got it?" Scar said. "Yes, Scar" I said. "Good. now leave" Scar said. I sighed. I got out of bed and got my Mario princesses,

shirt on with pink leggings. "OUT NOW!" Scar yelled as he shocked me again. "Ahh! Okay, I will go" I said. I did as he said and quickly left the room closing the door.

I walked downstairs trying to hold in my tears. "Hey Lana, how are you?" Nala said as I sat down at the table. "I'm okay" I said quietly. "What's wrong Lana, you seem down"

Ahadi said. "Is it because of the curse?" Mufasa said. I haven't told my family that Maleficent adopted me and Aurora. they would freak out if I told them. "Yeah that and,

when I woke up, I told Scar about my birthday. he ignored me, and yelled at me. He doesn't' care about my birthday at all" I said. the room stayed silent for a minute.

then Ahadi spoke up, "Don't worry Lana, I will talk to Scar. he shouldn't be treating you like that" Ahadi said. "yeah and especially because tomorrow might be your last day,

on earth" Nala said. I shook my head. "Please, don't say it like that" I said. "Oh. sorry, Lana" Nala said. "It's fine. just please don't remind me about the curse" I said.

"I won't I promise" Nala said. "Thanks" I said. "Scar should show you some love. because it's your birthday tomorrow and might be your last day tomorrow" Mufasa said. "Mufasa!" Ahadi said. "Stop it please!" I shouted. "Sorry..." Mufasa said. I felt a panic attack coming on.

Ahadi noticed this. "Lana, go to your room and have some time alone right now. I will have a talk with the family" Ahadi said. "Okay dad...but Scar won't let me in my room" I said. "You can use my room Lana" Aurora said. I smiled. "Thanks, sis" I said. "You're welcome" Aurora said.

"Don't forget your breakfast dear" Knotgrass said. Knotgrass gave me my breakfast. "Thanks, Aunt Knotgrass" I said. "Yep, now go and have some alone time" Knotgrass said. "Okay" I said.

I walked into Aurora's room closed the door and started eating my breakfast.
