Contessa's point of view:
Roman and I arrive back in New York City a few days later. I can't say that I am excited to be back in New York as much as I love it but I'm not excited to face my father after my trip to Paris. I'm not sure I should tell him about Roman and me, I don't think that's going to be a good reaction from him. He could disown me in a heartbeat or he could just go ahead and kill Roman. I would NEVER allow him to hurt Roman despite what my father may think of Roman I think he's a great man and I do love him. "So this is where you live?" asks Roman as we walk into my penthouse apartment.
"Yeah, this is where I live," I say with a smile.
"Nice place," he says shutting the door behind him before laying my luggage down inside the door. "You live here alone?"
"Of course," I say with a smile.
"Nice," he says with a smile.
"I know right," I say. He has never been to my apartment before and for good reason but now that we are together I don't mind if he's in my apartment. I would prefer us to spend more time in my apartment than have to spend the night at his hotel. "If you would like to stay here more often you're more than welcome to."
"Are you sure that's a good idea?" he asks.
"Yes," I say, "and then you don't have to stay in your hotel room anymore. You have a place to stay here and since we are together now I figured that would be easier since you don't really have a place to live here."
"Actually," he says, "I am getting a place here in New York."
"How come? I thought you were only here to do some work and then heading back to Florida."
"That was the plan but I think I have something keeping me here in New York," he says with a smile.
"Oh yeah? What's that?" I ask wrapping my arms around his waist as he wraps his arms around my waist.
"You," he says kissing the top of my head. "You're the reason I'm staying in New York."
"What if I wanted to go to Florida with you?" I ask looking up at him with a smile.
"You want to go to Florida with me?"
"Maybe," I answer.
"And what about working for your father? And being part of the family business? You would give that all up to go to Florida with me?"
"Yes," I say, "I would give it all up to start a life with you, travel with you, take adventures with you."
"That sounds promising," he says with a smile, "but lets hang out in New York for a while and then go from there."
"Sounds like a plan to me," I smile. "So you're getting a place here in New York?"
"Yes. I am supposed to go look at it later, do you want to come or do you have other plans?" he asks.
"I would love to come with you to go look at it but I think I should go see my dad today."
"Are you going to tell him about you and me?" he asks.
"No," I shake my head, "that's not going to go over too well," I say.
"I see," he says with a nod.
"So," I say letting go of his waist and taking his hand leading him to my living room. "Where is your new place?"
"Upper West Side, it has a nice view of Central Park," he says.
"That's pretty sweet, it's going to cost you a pretty penny I'm sure that's a coveted location."
"I'm aware," he says as we sit down on the couch. "It's worth it."
"Well, just so you know if you're tired of staying in the hotel and need a place to stay until your penthouse is available and ready you're more than welcome to stay here with me," I smile.
"Thank-you, Tessa," he says with a smile. "You are so beautiful," he says with a smile.
"You're not too bad to look at either," I say with a smile before he leans in and kisses my lips softly. I cup his cheek as I kiss him back. The passion in our kiss builds as his hands start to wander my body, his soft lips on my neck. "How about I show you the bedroom?" I ask with a smile.
"Sounds like a plan to me," he says before I stand up, I take his hand and lead him to my bedroom. I shut the door behind us before I lead him over to the bed. I kiss his lips softly as we sit on my bed. I start to undress him by unbuttoning his shirt before he lifts my shirt up over my head. I trail soft kisses down his neck and all over his firm chest. I push him back on the bed, helping him get his jeans off before slipping out of my shirt and taking off my own jeans, covering his body with mine as I kiss him again. He wraps his arms around my body as we share a passionate kiss. I can not get enough of this man. I could do this every day with him. I trail soft kisses down his body, as I reach the top of his briefs I pull them down, he helps me take them off exposing his thick erection. I take his erection in my hand, stroking it softly with a smile. He lets out a soft moan as he closes his eyes. I surprise him by taking the tip of his erection in my mouth, sucking it softly. "Damn, Tess," he says before biting on his lip. I take more of him in my mouth, sucking him harder. "Keep going, Baby Girl. Don't stop," he says as I take my tongue over the ridges of his cock, sucking him as I go, taking all of him into my mouth, making love to him with my mouth. His hands in my hair pulling it softly as I continue pleasuring him with my mouth. "I'm going to cum," he says.
"No," I say, "not yet, if you're going to cum you're going to cum in me," I say.
"I like the sound of that," he smiles as I stand up, I slide my pink lace underwear off and remove my matching bra before I straddle him, taking his erection in my hand, teasing him rubbing him against my clit before I lower myself onto his erection. I let out a soft moan with him as he fills me, his hands on my thighs as I start to move, as I start to ride him, slow and soft, taking every inch of him. "Contessa, I love it, I love you," he says as I move.
"I love you too," I say as I lean down and kiss his lips softly before he rolls me onto my back making me smile against his lips. He kisses me deep as he makes love to me, taking his time. The passion building between us, I'm nearly ready to fall apart as I know he's close. I dig my nails into his back, sinking my teeth into his shoulder as he lets out a grunt of pleasure as we come apart together, he releases himself deep inside of me as he kisses my lips softly. "That was amazing," I say with a soft smile as he lays beside me, taking me in his arms.
"It just keeps getting more amazing," he says with a smile.
"So are you planning on staying here till you get your place or are you going to stay in the hotel?"
"I mean if you don't mind I would like to stay here. I am sure you're more comfortable in your own bed."
"I am," I say as I stroke his soft skin with my finger.
"Okay," he says before kissing my forehead. "That's decided."
"It is," I say with a smile as we hold each other and enjoying each other's company before we separate for the day. He goes to get his things from the hotel while I go to visit my parents.
I arrive to my parents' house. I knock on the door and my mom answers the door. "Contessa!" she says with a big smile before she greets me with a hug.
"Hey, Mom," I say hugging her back. "Is Papa home?" I ask as I walk into the house.
"No he's off doing some work. He should be back later," she says, "so you're back from France, how was it?"
"It was amazing!" I say. "I couldn't have asked for a better trip. It was so much fun. I really enjoyed myself. Paris was absolutely beautiful, it was breathtakingly beautiful," I say. "It's everything I ever dreamed of and we ate brunch by the Eiffel Tower one of the things on my bucket list. The French Riviera was just as beautiful and watching the sunset was my favorite part of that trip. It was just beautiful."
"So you had a great time?" she asks as we sit down in the living room.
"The best time, I just want to travel for a while. I want to go out and see the world. There is so much I have yet to see and I just want to do some traveling before I settle down with my life."
"That sounds like a life plan," she smiles, "but what about working for your father? You know he's priming you to take over the family business."
"I know what he's doing but I don't want that life, Mom. You know this. I want to do something that will make me happy. Working for dad and living that life that's what he wants for me but that's not what I want. I understand the family loyalty but I don't want to do what he wants me to do."
"You know that's not going to make him happy," she says.
"I know but doing his work isn't making me happy, shouldn't I be doing what makes me happy?" I ask.
"Of course but you know how it is, Contessa. This is the life you were born into and this is the life your father wants you to live."
"I know but this isn't the life I want," I say. I always feel like I can confide in my mom about certain things because most of the time she understands me but right now I am not sure she truly understands.
"I know but you are your father's daughter, his only child, he needs someone to take over his legacy."
"He has a bad legacy, Mom. I don't want to smuggle drugs, kill innocent people, have everlasting feuds. I don't want that and I shouldn't have to want that."
"So what would you like to do with your life?" she asks.
"I do enjoy modeling," I say, "and like I said, I want to travel the world before I settle down. I also want to put my college degree to use and actually legally run a company. I don't want to live this life he has laid out for me. I respect him for what he does and all that he has done but I don't want this life for me."
"Is this Roman's influence?" she asks. "Because ever since you started this fling with Roman you haven't been as into your father's business so is it Roman that has you wanting to walk away from the family?" she asks.
I let out a breath and say, "Dad wants me to kill him, Mom. He wants me to find out all his secrets and kill him."
"I am aware of what your father wants you to do, Contessa," she says.
"And I can't do it," I say honestly, "please don't tell Dad."
"This is safe with me but eventually it's all going to come out and your father is going to be pissed and he will kill Roman when you don't. Why can't you do this, Contessa?"
"Mom, I don't want to betray Roman. He doesn't deserve it and I am not going to do it. He trusts me and I trust him. I will NOT betray him. I love him," I say.
"Your father is NOT going to like that," she says shaking her head, "Contessa, that's not a smart decision."
"It's not like I asked to fall in love with him," I say. "Have you ever known me to turn sex into something more?"
"Well, not really, so what is it about Roman that you love?"
"Nearly everything," I say with a smile. "He's not this monster that dad makes him out to be. He's like me. He doesn't want this life as much as I don't want this life. He's actually a very sweet guy."
"So you do have information about him?" she asks.
"Yes but like I said I am not going to betray him. I am going to remain loyal to him and respect him. When we were in Paris we became something more," I say.
"What do you mean something more?" she asks.
"We are actually in a committed relationship now," I say, "and I am not going to betray him."
"But you're going to betray your father for a man you barely even know that probably has something planned against you, how do you know you can trust him?" she asks.
"I wouldn't say it's betraying Dad, I would say it's me choosing to live my life how I want. I know that Roman is genuine. He is not going to hurt me and he doesn't have anything planned against me."
"Contessa, you better think about this and think about what this means for you and what this means for Roman. You're dating and in a relationship with your father's enemy, the man that your father asked you to kill and get information from him. He didn't ask you to fall in love with him."
"And I didn't ask to fall in love with him but it just happened," I say. "And I am going to go to Florida with him when all this is said and done."
She shakes her head, "I'm happy that you're in love and you're finally settling down but your father is going to kill Roman and then he's going to kill you. You're breaking your family loyalty for the enemy, Contessa. Please just think about this."
"There's nothing to think about," I say, "this is what I want."
"I can't change your mind but I suggest you don't tell your father," she says. "Go and leave New York if you're going to keep pursuing this," she says. "You're endangering yourself and when your dad finds out you're going to be in trouble."
"Please don't tell him," I say. "I want to tell him. I just don't know how to."
"I don't know either, Contessa but I hope you know what you're doing," she says.
"I think I know what I am doing," I say but I really don't know what I am doing. I just know that I am not willing to betray Roman even if it means betraying my own family and my own father. I let out a sigh as I think about how badly this could all turn out for me and for Roman.
*A/N: So what do you think? Do you think Contessa can trust her mom? What do you think her dad's reaction will be? What do you think of Contessa offering to let Roman stay at her apartment? Please review and thank-you for reading.
