Chapter 3: Continent of Fire (3/3)
"Watch out!" Kung Jin yelled at his friend.
Jaden after hearing, quick rolled to the left to evade the upcoming attack from the Oni, Moloch. "Take this!" Jaden yelled before throwing a fireball at Moloch.
"GRRRRR!" The Oni grunted as the fireball hit his face. But he quickly recovered and swings the orb at the boy again.
Jaden jumps and avoids the metal ball one more time. Before throwing another fireball at him, but Moloch just blocked the fireball with his left hand.
Unknowingly for the Oni, Jaden was actually doing that to distract. As Jaden signaled to Kung Jin to try to get something out of the broken down shack. Which he did.
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Moloch let out a monstrous roar before charging at Jaden Kang.
"Woah!" That was Jaden's response as the Oni came at him with the speed of a raging bull. He responded by rolling to the left, making him crash on a nearby tree. The tree fell instantly upon impact.
But to Jaden's horror, Moloch picked up the tree and launched at Jaden's direction. Jaden jumped into the ground, seconds before the tree could hit him, the tree pass through him from above and landed on Bo' Rai Cho's home. Finishing it's destruction completely.
Meanwhile, Kung Jin was trying to search for a weapon that wasn't destroyed alongside the shack. The task was not easy as he couldn't find a single weapon that wasn't damaged beyond use.
But Kung Jin's search was interrupted when he heard footsteps behind him.
He quickly turned around only to see the face of the Oni Tormentor, raising his iron club before swinging down at full speed.
Kung Jin moved to the right and managed to evade the attack, before aiming his bow at Drahmin.
"Looking up close, now I see the resemblance between you and your uncle." Drahmin said as he pulled his club from the ground.
"Don't you talk about him!" Kung Jin replied in anger.
"He serves Quan Chi at the Netherrealm, alongside the Half-Edenian's parents." He told him as he walks towards him.
Kung Jin was aware of his uncle's fate alongside Jaden's parents. So it didn't surprise him. He shot an arrow at Drahmin in response, which pierced his chest. Though it didn't seen to cause any damage.
"Those sticks of yours won't be enough to end me." Drahmin pointed out. Before he pulled the arrow through his back.
Kung Jin ignored what he said and kept shooting at him.
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Jaden heard Moloch roar again before dodging another very close attack from him.
"Will you stop this annoying roar! It's not scary anymore, just annoying." Jaden couldn't help put say it.
But saying that, just caused the Oni to become even more furious, and charge at the boy again. "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" He let out yet another roar, which really angered Jaden.
"Alright, that's it!" Jaden yelled at the Oni.
In a split second, Jaden concentrate all of his energy into his feet in order to try something that Master Bo' Rai Cho, once mentioned his father being capable of.
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Moloch roared one more time before charging at Jaden one more time.
But instead of moving out of the way, Jaden Kang also charged at Moloch. The two run towards each other with an obvious outcome for when the two clash. That was, until the two were close enough.
As they were five steps away of each other, Jaden Kang jumped into the air and performed his father's flying kick while his feet were on fire.
Kung Jin on the other hand was shooting arrow after arrow at Drahmin but to no effect. He has repeatedly dodge his attacks but he only had a few arrows left.
"The two of you are resilient, but it's hopeless." Drahmin said as he kept on approaching Kung Jin. Who was kept shooting arrows at him.
But unfortunately, he ran out of arrows completely and prepared himself to fight. He tried to attack him but Drahmin easily evaded his attacks and landed his club on Jin's leg. "AAAAHH!" He yelled in pain.
"You lasted more than I expected," Drahmin spoke as he lifted his club. "You'll be an good addition to the Netherreal-" Before he could finish what he was going to say, the metal ball that belongs to Moloch, lands perfectly at Drahmin and sent him flying into a nearby tree.
"What?" Kung Jin said in confusion. Before he moved his head at the direction where ball came from and saw his master walking towards him.
"I got to say, you handled yourself better than I was expecting." His fat master commented before he knelled down to check his leg.
"When did got here?" Kung Jin asked.
"When Jaden killed the big one." Bo ' Rai Cho replied.
"What?" Kung Jin then turned his head to the left to check on Jaden. There he was standing in top of the Oni, with his foot completely pierced on it's stomach. Which Jaden is trying to pull it out.
"Come on." Jaden spoke out loud as he was trying to pull his foot out. He was surprised when the flying kick with his foot on fire worked as he easily pierced through it's stomach.
"Can you walk?" Bo' Rai Cho asked Kung Jin.
"Barely." He replied as he stood up but his leg still hurted.
"Little help here," Jaden called them as he still couldn't pull his foot out.
Bo' Rai Cho walked towards Jaden and grabbed the boy. "On three, pull it with all of your strength." Bo' Rai Cho instructed him.
Jaden nodded
"One, Two, Three!" Bo ' Rai Cho then pulled Jaden with all of his strength and Jaden pulled his foot as well. Soon enough, his foot came off completely covered in blood and guts.
"Ew!" Jaden complained as he shakes his foot to try to get the guts off.
"I must say, that was an exceptional flying kick." Bo' Rai Cho praised as he touched his shoulder. Before he moved his gaze towards his house. "Damn Onis, look at my home." Bo' Rai Cho complained as the house was definitely not habitable anymore.
"What now?" Kung Jin asked as he limped towards them.
"I must speak with Raiden about what happened, if there's anything you two wish to pick, do it now." Bo' Rai Cho informed them.
"I just came here with with these clothes." Jaden spoke while pointing at his outfit.
"Just my bow." Kung Jin lifted his bow to answer
"Okay then, we leave at once."
"And go where?" Kung Jin asked.
"Home." Jaden answered.
