Police sirens sounded and paramedics as the swarmed Royal woods elementary school paramedics where checking on the staff and students seeing if they where alright. Two of the officers where talking until "excuse me" a voice said getting the two's attention the officers turned and widen there eyes when they saw the man of steel himself.
" Super man what are you doing?" The first officer asked " I was flying by on my way to metropolis until saw your cars here what happened ?" Superman asked the officers but before they could answer they heard someone clear there voice they saw that it was a police lieutenant " I'll take here from boys go start asking the the victims some questions see what they know" the lieutenant said to the two officers " Sure thing Lieutenant " the second officer said as the two walked to do there job.
"Well I gotta say I'm surprised to see you here superman" the Lieutenant said to the man of steel " Lieutenant Hernandez Of the Royal wood police department" Lieutenant Hernandez said " Nice to meet you Lieutenant so can you tell me what happened here ?" Superman asked here " Some nut job hooked up knockout gas to the air vents that run through the school law enforcement was alerted when the gas alarm went off but aside from that your guess is as good as mine" the police lieutenant said to him. " Excuse me Lieutenant " police officer said walking up to him " what is it officer?" Hernandez asked and officer who was holding a clip board.
" We gotta problem here boss we did a head count of the staff and students and where missing one" the officer said as he handed the clipboard the high ranking police officer " Who?" The lieutenant asked as he looked through the clip board " A Four year old named Lincoln Loud from what it looked like who ever put the gas in the air vents went into the school and got the kid and got out" the officer said to the two " Alright put out an alert and get the kids picture put out amber alert I don't care find this kid" The Lieutenant said the officer. He turned to talk to super man but saw that he was already gone.
Mount Justice Happy Harbor
The young Justice team had gathered Batman Red Tornado and Super man where standing in front of them " From what he had gathered the men that took Lincoln are soldiers part of a terrorist group know as Cobra " Batman said as a screen appeared showing a picture of a red cobra. then changes to show a man with a metal mask wearing blue
" This is there Leader Cobra Commander from what we gathered he's working some who go's by the truth is paying a large some in gold for Lincoln" Batman said to the team " But that doesn't make any sense what would anyone want with our little brother?" Lori asked she along with Leni, Luna as well as the rest of the team where worried about the young loud
" Don't worry That's where we come in" Anew voice said the team turned to see a man in early forties wearing a military uniform with a beret with a star on it showing his rank " This General Hawk Leader of G.I. Joe a special military branch that was formed to fight Cobra" Batman said as General Hawk walked into the room " Good to see you again Batman " General Hawk said to dark knight of Gotham " Like wise General " Batman said to military officer.
General Hawk look towards Lori, Leni, and Luna " Batman already told me the situation about your brother " Hawk said to the three super hero teenagers.
Batman turns the screen into aerial view of the Cobra base " This a Cobra base deep in the swamp between Louisiana and Mississippi this is the most likely location where Lincoln is being held " Batman said to young justice " General Hawk will fill you in on the rest" Batman said as he stood to the side " thank you " Hawk said as he looked at the team
" Tomorrow at dawn F-22 Raptors will preform bombing runs on Cobra air defenses while i have my troops move in from the front towards the base this should be a big enough distraction to allow you young heroes to get in get the kid and get out and if you come across Cobra commander I Would appreciate it if you can bring him in alive" Hawk said to the team.
Batman steps forward " now go and get some rest you'll need for tomorrow" Batman said to team everyone nodded there head and left the room.
Midnight
Super boy walks into the kitchen and turns on the light much to his surprise he saw Luna sitting at the counter " Oh hey Conner what are you doing up?" Luna asked him with a raised eyebrow " i was getting a drink but the real question why are you up?" He asked as he took a seat next to Luna. The ice powered loud let out a sigh " Me Lori and Leni where talking earlier and thought that Lincoln wouldn't be kidnapped if we didn't get involved in this" Luna said to Super boy
" so you three are going to leave after we rescue your brother " Conner said to Luna which she nodded her head. This caused Conner to sigh and look at her you know it's not going to be the same without you guys" He said to her " I know but me and mys sisters want to protect Lincoln and we can't do that if where on the other side of the world" Luna said to him.
Conner nodded his head " Well if tomorrow is are last mission together it was nice fighting on along side you" Conner said to her with a warm smile " same her dude" Luna said to him as she shook his hand.
