I drove back home with Optimus. My mother was still working, so I quickly packed my most important things and left a message for my mother. I packed a few clothes, two books and my Mp3 player next to the wallet and the key. I deliberately left my cell phone in case the Decepticons could locate me over it. I threw my packed travel bag out of the open window in front of the red / blue truck. After closing the window, I ran to the apartment door and stepped out into the hall. Then I locked the apartment door and then left the house. I walked across the meadow around the house and heaved the travel bag onto the passenger seat of Optimus before I took the driver's seat and buckled up. We didn't have a specific target, we just wanted to mislead the Decepticons. And indeed, when we were on the highway, followed and two rather pimped cars that clearly did not fit on this street. Optimus drove faster to take off the Decepticons. And finally, at some point, we could hang them out in the fray. Optimus drove to a rest area to take a break, which we both needed. I got out to stretch my feet a little. Sitting in the truck for hours had made my legs almost asleep. But when I noticed that it was slowly getting dark, I returned to Optimus. When I got back in and snuggled into the comfortable seat, I looked at the Autobot's unusual dashboard. To the left of the steering wheel was a large light indicator, with strange symbols that I recognized as Cybertronic signs. I ran my hand over the steering wheel. Too bad I didn't have a driver's license. I would like to drive Optimus one day. Optimus's voice came to me: "Would you please refrain from doing that?" He asked. Confused, I pulled my hand away from the steering wheel.

Lily's unconscious caresses sent electrical impulses through Optimus' circuits. It wasn't uncomfortable, on the contrary. If he were a cat, he would probably have started purring. But then it became clear to Optimus that he had to stop this before his mind went out. Because he felt that he was close when Lily brushed his brake stick with her hand. Lily sighed in disappointment. Then she asked, confused: "Did I do something wrong?"

"No. I'm just exhausted, "said the Prime. Lily leaned sideways in the seat. Optimus leaned the seat back a little so that Lily was a little more comfortable. Lily fell asleep, guarded by Optimus, who kept the area in the optics in half stasis. The next morning Optimus woke her up by starting his engine.

Lily yawned and stretched: "Good morning Optimus."

"Good morning, Lily. Did you sleep well?"

Lily nodded her head.

"I was so free to order you something for breakfast. There it comes. ", Said Optimus. Lily's gaze fell on a young man with a kappy on his head who was walking towards Optimus. The driver's door of the truck opened by itself and Lily gratefully accepted the tray that the young man brought her. She went straight to the sandwich and the cappuccino. As before, Optimus had known exactly what she liked.

After Lily had strengthened herself, they drove further into the unknown. As they were driving along a country road, the twins from the previous day suddenly reappeared behind them. They tried to push Optimus off the road on both sides. Lily was shaken to and fro quite a bit. At some point it made Lily sick. She wondered what Optimus was doing. Why didn't he make short work of it and knock the annoying cars off the lane? Lily decided to take the initiative herself. She grabbed the steering wheel and turned it to the left with brute force. Optimus would almost be slowed down. Electrical impulses rushed through him like the night before when she had touched him.

Optimus gave up the controls briefly because of the surprise, so Lily actually managed to drive Optimus to the side of the road and get rid of the annoying twin. Lily did it again in the other direction and also pushed the other Decepticon twin into the ditch. It took Optimus these brief moments to recover. Finally he took over the steering again and Lily let out a relieved breath. They continued on the road for a few miles until Optimus stopped at a meadow of flowers. Lily got out of the truck and ran towards the meadow.

She let herself fall into the sea of flowers on this beautiful flower meadow and no longer thought about the fact that they were actually on the run. Optimus took good care of Lily. He talked to her for a long time and Lily felt very comfortable with him. She had great faith in Optimus and knew that nothing could happen to her as long as they were together. Optimus watched Lily as she sighed and fell into the sea of flowers. He now decided to keep Lily some company as a person on the flower meadow and now stepped over to her. She was lying in the grass among the flowers and some petals had landed in her hair. The way she lay there, she looked a bit like a fairy he'd heard so much about. The Prime lay down next to her and said: "What are you doing?"

"Oh, I enjoy the silence. We haven't had a lot of that in the last few days, "I said.

"Yes. These twins who are chasing us are always hot on our heels. "

"I guess they'll match a time when we're apart and they can get me."

"You can wait forever for that.", Optimus crossed his arms under his head. "This world could be so peaceful if the Decepticons weren't here."

Lily sat up: "Where there is light, there must be shadow."

"Yes, and the stronger the light, the darker the shadow."

Lily huddled against Optimus' shoulder. For the Prime, of course, this was more than unexpected. She said: "Together we can do it."

The Prime put his hands around the girl's shoulders and sighed deeply. She did it again. Like before, when she had mentally grasped his steering wheel to pull Optimus over to the left when the twins were on their heels. Just like before, his sensations seemed to get totally mixed up again. He felt pretty confused, but at the same time he wanted to be able to hold her like this forever. He knew that people also had this emotional chaos. However, when you were in love. But he is not a human, but a Cybertroner. How could he develop such human feelings? On the other hand, Optimus knew that the Cybertronians had more in common with humans than he had initially thought possible. He lowered his head slightly and kissed her hair that had taken on the smell of the flower meadow. The human girl looked up at the Prime. Her cheeks were slightly flushed and she asked him, embarrassed:

"Optimus, why are you doing this for me? I have the feeling that there is more to it than just the crystal. "

"Naturally. I care about your safety on Spark. And to be honest, not just your safety. But also you yourself. Your life. "

"I am so important to you?"

"Yes of course. I would risk my life just to know that you are safe and alive. "

The two looked deep into each other's eyes and lost each other in a sea of pale blue light.
