The following day at break Harry plucked up the courage to finally meet this guy. He took Ron and Hermione, dreading what was about to happen. He took a deep breath and walked inside. The classroom was dirty, walls covered in writing, rubbish on the floor and 2 broken ceiling lights, it seemed as though the room had been unused.

"This place stinks," Ron said in disgust.

"It hasn't been used since 2 years ago due to a clogged sink," Hermione stated.

"How do you Know!" Ron shrieked in confusion.

"It says it on the door, Ron," Hermione said, rolling her eyes.

The same boy emerged out of the darkness, "Alone" he said in an eerie voice. Ron and Hermione stealthily left but continued looking through the window in the door. However, they did not hear what he was saying. After about 5 minutes Harry walked out.

"So what did he say?" Ron asked

"Well, at first he said he was a squib but he wouldn't tell me his family, he said he knew I was a wizard as soon as he saw my scar. It's a little suspicious because instead of knowing I was a wizard because I'm famous he knew because of the shape of my scar. He said he wants to learn some magic theory. His story was really inconsistent though, he mentioned something about his muggle parents which doesn't make sense because he said he was a squib just a few minutes earlier. I don't know what to do"

"Hmm, it does sound rather how do I put this? Suspicious. If he really is a squib then how are his parents muggles, but if he's a muggle how does he know?" Hermione said curiously.

"Dunno," Ron added. "Maybe just give him the one lesson and see what happens?"

"Why would I do that?" Harry asked

"I mean, he could be adopted?" Ron said while opening a packet of crisps he had nicked from Dudley.

"Yeah but, it's not worth risking it, we could get in serious trouble," Hermione said in a motherly voice.

"OK, I think I'll give him one lesson, I won't demonstrate any magic, that way if he tells on us I could say I was pretending, we'll see how it goes," Harry stated.

"US!" Ron shouted.

"Well, I'm obviously gonna take you two with me!" The school bell rang and they were off to science. They were the first to get there (due to already being in the department).

"I think we're doing Chemistry! It's my favourite science!" Hermione stated gleefully with a big smile across her face.

"What is science, and why are there multiple of them?" Ron asked with a hint of panic in his voice.

"Well, it's like potions, but instead of how it's more why, that's chemistry anyway," Hermione answered.

"What are the other ones?!"

"Well there's physics which is force, movement, energy that kind of stuff and my personal least favourite, Biology it's about living organisms and genetics." Ron didn't answer, his eyes just went wide open and he stared. By the time the awkward silence was over everyone was already walking inside.

After an hour of Hermione constantly raising her hand, they walked out of the room.

"How the hell did you know all that, you only went to muggle school 'till you were eleven!" Ron shrieked.

"Well, I did read a lot of books about it…" Hermione wondered. The trio began walking to their next class, geography but their walk was interrupted by the same boy again.

"So, what's your answer?" he whispered.

"Ermm we figured we could meet once," Harry answered nervously

"What, tonight, same place, after school?"

"Yeah sure," After realizing what he just said Harry panicked, they were meeting tonight and he didn't even know this kid's name!

Geography sped by, the teacher was passionate and bubbly which made the lesson quite enjoyable and soon enough it was lunchtime.

"So when are we meeting with him?" Ron asked curiously

"Erm, he asked me so I panicked and said tonight…"

"B-but we have homework due tomorrow, we can't do this!"

"Hermione, we need to find out who this kid is!" They arrived at their usual seat in the canteen and there was Paddy, waiting for them.

"Hi,guys, where were you at break?"

"We had a class detention," Hermione blurted out.

"Shame, it was quite gloomy without you three her,"

"Aww, thanks Paddy," Ron said affectionately. They sat down and began to talk about teachers, homework and school clubs.

"Hey, I was thinking about playing some football tomorrow night since the pitch is free, any of you would care to come?"

"Course!" Harry said, although not being particularly good at it. He nudged Ron.

"I'll come too," Ron said, slightly scared.

"What about you Hermione?" Paddy asked.

"I hate football."

"Come on, it will be fun!" Harry added.

"Fine, as long as I'm not goalie."

The bell rang once again and they split ways, the trio heading to maths. The hour was incredibly boring, the classroom was hot although they were in the middle of autumn and the teacher seemed to be completely out of this realm, she reminded Harry of Professor Trelawney. The bell went at 3:20 and it was time to meet the boy.

A/N

Here's another chapter, I actually got it out earlier than expected and I made planned out the entire plotline too. I've decided that I'm going to carry it on and make it the length of a short novel. Also, I forgot to mention that this is on an alternate timeline because I didn't really wanna deal with the actual events and work around those. Oh and sorry that I can't remember your name but someone in the comments mentioned about pantomimes being silent, I looked it up to double-check and, at least in the UK, pantomimes are comedic stage shows that are family-friendly usually about a classic story like Robin Hood. A lot of the time they're performed in schools because they have a message behind them (sometimes they're really random like once at my school we had one about road safety and a girl being run over). Basically think of it as a classic story made into a musical, minus the music. Often in pantomimes, the characters will say something like "I didn't sneak into his house!" followed by a queue for the audience to answer like "Yes you did." which is often said slowly while raising the pitch on the "did" part, so this is what I meant by "a classic pantomime tone" if anything look it up. Anyways, sorry for rambling on for so long, have a good day!
