Yes, I am super excited for The Bad Batch series. I don't think Echo's position on the team undermines Tech. Tech is a genius, Echo just had the ability to hack into enemy panels.
As for Ironwood's orders, they may have their own options on this. From what I've seen in the trailer, the Bad Batch doesn't really agree with the Empire and seems to be hunted by them. They may share the Ace-Ops' mindset of certain people being expendable, but not themselves. Crosshair doesn't give a crap about "regs", but I don't think the Bad Batch thinks themselves as expendable.
I don't want to answer your Attack on Titan question because I am a manga reader. If I answer it, there are potential spoilers for anime watchers. All I can say is that I understand deny you would want to save Petra.
