Chapter 7
Blue Base
"Aw, crap. The Reds are here." Tucker said and Church said to Caboose. "What? Caboose, why didn't you say anything?"
"You were yelling at him, you loser." West said to Church and Church whispered loudly to them. "Hey, one of you guys turned me around. I still can't move my legs."
"What were you doing down there?" Grif asked the Blues. "And if you were doing what I think you're doing, you don't have to tell us." Jack said to the Blues. "We aren't doing that." West said to Jack
"We were just playing a game!" Caboose said and Church said to Caboose. "Hey, Caboose, we'll handle this."
"What in the hell is going on at this base?" Grif asked the Blues. "I told you these guys are weird." Doc said to the Reds. "Like we listen to you." Jack said to Doc
"What do you want, Red's? Get outta here or we'll start shooting at you!" Church said to the Reds. "Oh yeah? You care to make that threat to my face?" Grif said to Church. "Yeah say that to our face coward." Jack said to Church. Church then groaned and said "No."
"Yeah, I didn't think so." Grif said to Church. "Chicken." Jack said to Church. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, calm down guys. We didn't come here to fight. We just came to give back the prisoner." Simmons said to everyone.
"Give him back? You can't give him back, you took him. A deal's a deal." Tucker said to the Red's. "Yeah, plus he is useless." West said to the Reds. "Yeah, well, forget it. We don't want him." Grif said to the Blues. Church said to them. "Well, sorry, you can't have another prisoner! That was our last one!"
"Hey, dude, what is your problem?" Grif asked Church. "Yeah what's wrong Blue can't face your betters." Jack said to Church. "Didn't your mama ever tell you it's impolite not to look at someone when you're talking to them?" Simmons said to Church. West said to them. "He is always rude."
"And he is shy!" Caboose said and Church said to him and the Red's. "Shut up. Look we don't want him back, and we don't care what you do with him. Now if you don't mind, we'd appreciate it if you'd leave us alone. We're in the middle of something kinda private over here."
"That's sad. He is shy." Grif said to the Reds. "Fine, don't come asking for them back later." Simmons said as they started to leave. "We won't." Tucker said to the Reds. "Later losers." Jack said to the Blues. "Last chance." Grif said to the Blues and Church said. "Beat it, Reds!"
"Alright, we're going, we're going!" Grif said as they left.
Blood Gulch
After a few steps away from Blue base everyone stopped. "Man, I thought our team was obnoxious, but those guys are really rude." Grif said to everyone. "Well West is with them so I'm not surprised that they're that rude." Jack said to Grif as Doc started to walk towards Red Base. "Whoa, hey, hey whoa. Where do you think you're going?" Simmons asked Doc. "Back to base with you guys. They don't want me over there." Doc said to them.
"Yeah, I don't think so." Grif said to Doc. "What? You're not just gonna leave me out here in the middle of nowhere. By myself?" Doc asked them. "Since the Blues didn't take you back. That's the plan." Jack said to Doc. "Yeah. That's kinda the general idea." Simmons said to Doc. "Not you too, right, Grif? Old buddy? Huh?" Doc asked Grif. "Sorry, it's pretty clear that you're not very popular around here, and if I'm gonna make any progress at all, I can't be directly associated with you. I'm sure you understand." Grif said to Doc. "Later." Jack said to Doc as ever but Do left for Red Base.
Blue Base
"What's going on? Are they there? Did they leave? Hey, somebody tell me what's happening!" Church said to Tucker and he said to Church. "I don't know. I can't really see too clearly. I bet I could see better if I had that sniper rifle."
"Uh, Tucker, you might wanna look behind you." Church said as Tucker turned around and saw West with the sniper rifle. "West? What the hell?"
"What?" West said to Tucker and Tucker said to West. "Why do you have the sniper rifle?"
"Caboose was going to grab it, but how he is acting. I don't trust him with a gun." West said and Church said to West. "Then what's with the pistol in his hand?"
"That is a paintball gun I found in the basement." West said and Church said. "We have a basement?"
"You know one of these days you should look around the base and figure out what we have." West said as he started spying on the Reds. West then said to the Blue's. "Looks like Jack and the other two Red's are leaving Doc behind. They must be annoyed with him just as much as we are."
"Or they are trying to place a spy in the base." Caboose said and West said to him. "Caboose, no one in the cannon, mines Tex is sneaky enough to be a spy." Church then said. "If it's a trick he will try to get into our base." Doc came over to the base and said. "Hey, guys! Uh, do you think I could hang out at your base for a while?"
"I knew it! We're all gonna die!" Caboose said and then said in a deep voice at West. "Starting with you."
"Sorry, but we're kinda busy here. So go away, or something" Tucker said to Doc and Doc said. "Normally I wouldn't impose. It's just that I don't know the neighborhood too well, and-"
"Listen, Doc, you're not fooling anybody with that innocent victim routine." Church said and Doc said. "Hey, I could help! I know more than just medicine! I'm trained in psychology, too. Maybe I could help you with your problem facing people."
"Just get outta here! And tell your buddies the Reds that their little plan failed." Church said as Doc had no choice, but to live in the caves.
