The next morning Genma gently shook his charge awake "Kid time to get up, breakfast will be ready by the time your dressed" Genma said, leaving his room once the little pinkette pried her eyes open.
Sakura and Boei let out matching yawns before stretching their arms high above their heads "Morning Boei-kun" Sakura giggled, seeing that her partner was having a harder time waking up than she was.
As she searched through her backpack for clothes to wear that day and pulled out a pair of stretchy shorts and a dark teal dress to put on "Genma it's only 6 in the morning, Haruno-san didn't have to get up so early" Hayate frowned at his roommate.
When the rosette padded out of his friends bedroom all dressed and ready to go "It's okay Mr. Gekkou, I always get up this early in order to have time to eat breakfast, while my Momma makes lunch for me" Sakura smiled radiantly at Hayate.
"Mr. Gekkou, Kid you can call us by our names Genma or Hayate but please don't call us Mr. or Sir" Genma informed, trying not to bust his gut laughing, even Hayate seemed amused before he turned back to the stove to try and figure out what to make the kid for lunch.
In that meantime Sakura had taken a seat at the table with Hayate "Oh right, we can't forget to feed Boei right" Hayate remembered the minute he spotted the lynx, sitting right at Sakura's feet, tail swishing back and forth as he waited patiently.
Boei perked at the mention of food, ears swiveling atop his head in the direction of the one who had spoken "Yep" Sakura chirped happily as she reached down to pat her companion on the head gently for being such a good boy.
Genma wanted to groan in frustration "Anything else or is that it for the morning" Genma asked, plating up the food finally and setting it before the tables occupants so that they could start eating, Sakura shook her head indicating there was nothing else.
Hayate furrowed his brow when Sakura didn't start eating immediately "Aren't you going to eat Sakura-san" Hayate questioned, imagine his surprise when she shook her head and watched Genma intently.
Only then did he realize what she was waiting for and the thought of it brought a smile to his face, so he settled for waiting as well until Genma could join them at the table "Thank you for the food…and Boei-kun does as well" Sakura put her hands together to give her thanks.
Before finally digging in once the adults had started eating first "Huh a kid with manners how about that and did you say your companion said thanks to, you can understand him already" Genma snorted.
She nodded "I started being able to after the first week, when Mrs. Inuzuka had me test our bond in order to make sure it was stable and growing as we progressed in our training" Sakura explained.
"Right, so do we have to worry about you not getting back until late if your training with Tsume" Hayate inquired not wanting to be alarmed if Sakura was a little behind schedule in coming back to the apartment.
He was reassured "Nope Mrs. Inuzuka let me have the week off but it's really only two days since we were only training every other day" Sakura admitted, still a little bummed out but overall it wasn't to horrible having a couple days off.
With that she hurriedly finished eating breakfast then sat down at the low table in the living room to look over her homework and make sure it was all properly done until it was time go "Hold your horses Kid don't you need me to walk you or something" Genma frowned.
Seeing Sakura about to go rushing out the door "I usually walk with Hinata-chan in the morning whose always walked by Ko-san" Sakura informed before frowning as she remembered yesterday and grew worried.
"Both of us will tag along just in case and either one of us will be there to pick you up after academy lets out" Hayate stood, seeing the concern on her face of course she would be afraid to walk the streets alone after finding her house broken into like that.
A second later upon exiting the apartment Sakura found she didn't have to worry at all for stood outside were Ko, Hinata and Hizashi "S..Sakura-chan" Hinata lunged forward and hugged her best friend with all her might.
Having been worried until seeing her okay with her own two eyes despite the repeated assurances from both her Father and Uncle "Come now, you two don't want to be late getting to the academy do you" Hizashi chuckled.
Thoroughly amused by the children's antics, "Mr. Hyuga is right Hinata-chan, we can't be late" Sakura reminded gently but Hinata refused to let her go completely so they held hands the whole way to the academy.
Tailed by not only Ko, but Hizashi, Genma and Hayate that morning drawing more than a handful of looks from civilians and other shinobi at the uncharacteristic scene happening before their eyes "See you after academy lets out Kid" Genma hollered.
Once the two six year old's had entered the schoolyard, Sakura waved with her free hand before both she and Hinata entered the building and headed down the hall to their classroom, where Kiba was waiting for them in their usual seat.
Like Hinata, Kiba jumped up as if his seat was on fire and leaped down the couple of steps in order to reach his friends "I heard from Ma, are you okay Sakura, your babysitter didn't do anything weird to you did he" Kiba demanded, looking her over.
Trying to find some kind of evidence that she'd been harmed "I'm okay Kiba-kun, really and nope Genma-san and Hayate-san were really nice to me and Boei-kun" Sakura soothed, hugging the brunet so he could stop worrying so much.
Worries soothed, Kiba did calm down as the three of them took their usual desk in the middle of the classroom only with one difference that day, Sakura was in the middle as she indulged her friends who were quite overprotective.
Iruka couldn't help but be amused by their antics as the rest of his students crowded into the classroom and took their seat so that he could get started on their morning lesson, Iruka started off by first making sure everyone was there by doing roll call.
Marked down those who were absent then began his pre-planned lecture on the warring states era "And thus our village came to be known as Konohagakure and remember to take notes we'll be having a test on Friday about this era" Iruka informed.
Sakura pulled out her planner and scribbled her homework down in it then scribbled a note about the test so that she could properly study for it "Maybe Father will let us do a study group" Hinata whispered as they packed up and headed for their math class.
Though a couple of their classmates were surprised to hear Hinata not stuttering a single time as she spoke to Sakura "Sounds like a great idea Hinata-chan though I'd have to talk to Hayate-san and Genma-san to get their permission" Sakura said.
Reminding the bluenette that she wasn't at home but staying elsewhere with her babysitter "Count me in as well if you get the okay from them" Kiba chimed in, not wanting to be excluded from studying for their test.
Just as they were about to enter the classroom, Ami deliberately moved in front of Sakura and stepped on the pinkette's foot forcefully "Oops sorry my bad, maybe if you'd been paying better attention that wouldn't have happened" Ami snickered cruelly.
As Sakura glared at her, itching to punch the brat in her arrogant face "Keep pushing me Ami and you'll see what happens when I get really angry" Sakura growled under her breath as she passed by the purple haired girls desk with her equally as uppity friends.
Before taking her usual seat with Kiba and Hinata on either side of her, unaware of the beetle spying on the three of them or rather Sakura as it's host wondered at what was going on between her and the purple haired girl.
Shino knew that this was something his Father would want to know so filed the information away until they got let out while Daikoku got started on their math lesson "And your homework is pages 50-60" Daikoku informed.
Once the lesson was over "Time for lunch, Ma actually packed me a bento this morning" Kiba cheered as he and his friends scrambled from their desks and headed for the stairs leading to the roof of the academy.
However upon arriving they found Ino Yamanaka waiting for them as Ami and her cronies crowded onto the roof blocking the door so that they couldn't run and get a teacher "Listen up Forehead I'm only going to tell you this one last time" Ino spoke.
Glaring at Sakura who rolled her eyes not impressed with the blondes posturing "Go bother someone else Ino I'm busy" Sakura said dismissively as Hinata unfolded the blanket she always brought for them to eat lunch on.
Ino stamped her foot angrily "NO your gonna listen, so stay away from Sasuke-kun he's mine and I'm not gonna let some foreheaded freak who only transferred into the academy this year steal him away" Ino snapped.
Unfortunately the person she was yelling at could really care less "Have him then I don't care, he's a brat anyway" Sakura snorted in disgust, opening her bento and scooping out the portion meant for Boei.
Who mrowled happily but waited for her to start eating first "Why don't you and that thing over there go away Yamanaka, we're trying to eat lunch here" Kiba scoffed when Ino continued to rave at Sakura.
The pinkette not even paying the girl any attention "The hell did you just call me Dog Boy, maybe you and that mutt need to be put down for rabies" Ami marched forward, reaching out to snatch Akamaru from atop Kiba's head.
Kiba let out a warning growl but it was to late Ami had already thrown Akamaru, Sakura was on her feet in two seconds flat and running "SAKURA-CHAN NO" Hinata yelled figuring out what her friend was planning on doing.
She didn't stop Sakura in time however as the rosette jumped fearlessly after Akamaru and caught him in the nick of time as she twisted to land neatly on her feet and buffer her landing with chakra before a crowd of older academy students and Chunin Instructors.
Iruka rushed forward "Sakura-chan are you alright, what happened, how did you fall" Iruka asked, in a panic as he looked his student over and found no injuries on the girl, in fact Sakura was just fine as she explained.
"Ami Himekari threw Akamaru off the roof so I jumped after him, I'm fine Iruka-sensei" Sakura admitted, cradling said pup in her arms as he shook violently, minutes after this incident Hinata and Kiba came running out of the building.
Only slowing as they saw that she was okay "Is it true Hinata-chan, Kiba-kun that Ami-chan threw Akamaru" Iruka turned to two more of his students as they reached his and Sakura's position in the schoolyard.
Hinata nodded hesitantly while Kiba nodded eagerly "Yamanaka was also up there calling Sakura names, not to mention Himekari also stepped purposefully on Sakura's foot this morning before math" Kiba tattled.
Feeling no guilt in doing so now that it seemed like Ami's bullying would finally be put to a stop "What were you thinking Sakura-chan, jumping off like that" Hinata scolded Sakura, clinging onto the pinkette who'd worried her half to death.
Sakura blushed sheepishly and handed Akamaru over to his partner "I wasn't really, I just knew that I couldn't let Akamaru get hurt since there was no one down here to catch him and I knew I'd be okay as well, sorry Hinata-chan" Sakura apologized.
The bluenette huffed at her but handed over Boei "N..No more eating on the roof" Hinata declared as they sat beneath a tree to eat their lunch while Ami and to a lesser extent Ino were given a warning about what would happen if they continued acting the way they currently were.
Not long after it was time for their final class of the day before academy let out "See you tomorrow Sakura, don't forget to ask those two for permission to do a study group" Kiba reminded, then bounded off for home.
Leaving behind two giggling girls who were amused by his antics "There's Ko-san" Hinata spotted her bodyguard pacing towards them and on his heels were Hayate who'd come to walk Sakura back to the apartment.
"Are you walking her back as well Hyuga-san" Hayate said, noticing how Ko followed after him and Sakura, Hinata attached to the pinkette's hip like velcro, Ko nodded, before signing that this was an order from the Clan Head himself.
Eight minutes later Ko and Hinata were gone in a flurry of leaves "How was the academy Kid, you didn't get in trouble did you" Genma greeted with a wave from the couch when Hayate, Sakura and the girls companion entered the apartment.
She didn't answer right away as she took off her sandals then took a seat at the low living room table "Not me, but a couple of my classmates did…..also if you don't mind, may I invite my friends here so that we can study for our history test this Friday" Sakura requested politely.
Genma and Hayate blinked at her in surprise "Sure as long as you actually study, we have no problem with it" Hayate shrugged to his roommates frustration because that would mean cooking for more than just the three of them.
And kids could be extremely picky about what kind of food they ate "Couldn't you go to one of their places, not saying you have to or anything" Genma asked, wondering if he could convince the girl to study elsewhere.
Verdant orbs flashed his way "I suppose I could, but I know if I go over to Kiba's I might end up doing some training as well and if I go over to Hinata's, a place Kiba's never been to, the atmosphere might be a bit much for him" Sakura explained calmly.
Hayate coughed out a chuckle "Then here is the logical choice, in that case we'll get takeout from one of the restaurants and you can take whatever leftovers are left for lunch the next day" Hayate offered.
Deciding to make things easier on Genma "Okay, we'll eat pretty much anything, well Kiba and I maybe, Hinata-chan has a more balanced diet than either of us so there could be things she can't eat I don't know" Sakura grinned before frowning.
Probably going to wonder until she asked "Right…well better get started on your homework Kid" Genma sighed as he stood and headed into the kitchen to start making dinner for the three of them and Boei, he remembered, spying the lynx at Sakura's side.
Meanwhile elsewhere in the Leaf Village, the Aburame Compound to be precise Shino and his Father were having another sit down, the second one since Sakura had joined the academy "How were things at the academy today Son" Shibi questioned.
"Haruno-san is being bullied by one of our classmates, Ami Himekari, why I have no idea as to the reason, Himekari-san also threw Inuzuka-san's ninken off the academy roof and Haruno-san jumped after him, caught the ninken and landed on her feet" Shino recited.
Shibi looked horrified then surprised and intrigued "Did she now, very interesting, is there anything else that you can tell me before I decide if I should get involved or not" Shibi inquired hoping for more information.
Evidence that there was a problem and that if it was not addressed soon it could become even worse "Ah yes, Himekari-san also stepped on Haruno-san's foot purposefully" Shino informed, remembering that scene before math class.
"Good, continue to keep an eye out, your dismissed to do your homework Shino" Shibi waved his heir off so that he could do his own paperwork and document everything he'd been told that evening not wanting to see such talent be wasted.
~Back at the apartment two hours later~
By the time supper was ready, Sakura had finished all of her schoolwork and had moved on to making study guides for her and her two friends, Genma was about to call out that food was ready when a knock echoed through the apartment.
Immediately Hayate went to answer it and came back with Shisui "Hey ya Sakura-chan" the Uchiha waved, scooping the pinkette up and squishing her in a hug "I heard what happened and you have nothing to worry about Shisui of the Body Flicker is on the case" Shisui exclaimed.
Really proud of his moniker apparently "Come to think of it, how do you know each other" Genma questioned having wondered why Sakura had gone to Itachi of all people for help, most tended to avoid Uchiha's nowadays.
"I met them in a little restaurant near my house when they were having a special on my favorite dessert, Shisui-san couldn't help but gossip and Itachi-san was with him that day and afterwards they walked me home oh and Shisui-san also went on a trip with Mrs. Inuzuka and I" Sakura said.
Shisui chuckled softly "Before I forget, Itachi wanted to know why you got his attention in the most obnoxious way you could as little Sasuke-chan put it, he was a bit jealous that Itachi-chan even paid you any attention" Shisui snickered.
Sakura peered up at him "Well he was about to enter your clan's compound and I had this feeling that something bad was gonna happen so I tried to make sure there was more than one person looking at me" Sakura informed.
Horror dawned on Shisui and her current caretakers as they realized the pinkette had sensed that she was being followed and had acted accordingly to make it harder for whoever was following her to abduct her.
At that Shisui hugged the rosette even tighter until she squirmed to be put down "Ah sorry…well thanks for being honest Sakura-chan and I'll be sure to find the person who did that" Shisui saluted simply disappearing as if he'd never been there.
Then Sakura was gently ushered into the kitchen where the food was already plated up just waiting for them to sit and eat, as they'd come to expect Sakura waited until they'd eaten first before taking a bite, followed by Boei.
Who mrowled happily while making nomming noises as he ate the tuna that had been chopped up into pieces for him "Time for a bath" Hayate announced, pointing at the bathroom once Sakura was all done.
Not that she would argue with him or Genma as Sakura merely picked up Boei and disappeared for half an hour to bathe, leaving them to clean up in the kitchen "So I was thinking barbecue or curry for dinner tomorrow" Genma mused.
Obviously planning ahead for the study group his charge was going to host "Barbecue definitely, we can get some grilled vegetables for the other one, Hinata-san" Hayate suggested, putting away the last of the dishes.
As Sakura and Boei returned from having a bath and not long afterwards they were both snoozing away on the futon that had been set up for them in Genma's room, only for Genma to repeat his actions of waking Sakura up the following morning.
Where she dressed for the day, ate breakfast, looked over her homework, before heading out the door Boei and Genma on her heels since Hayate had a mission for the morning "Father agreed to let me come to the study group" Hinata greeted.
Informing Sakura that she'd received permission to participate "All that's left is Kiba" Sakura smiled brightly as she and Hinata clasped hands and once again walked all the way to the academy without letting go of one another.
This time Kiba met them at the gates with Tsume "Pink Stray…Hinata, as long as this Pup behaves today he can study with you at Shiranui's but he has to stay the night" Tsume informed, ignoring the pleading look from Genma.
"Look I wouldn't ask if it wasn't important Shiranui, I can't say anymore than that but with Hana off on a mission, I need him elsewhere" Tsume said, admitting that much so not even Genma could refuse.
Before nudging the kids towards the academy so they weren't late "Fine" Genma relented with a sigh and accepted the backpack with a change of clothes for Kiba, Tsume nodded then was gone leaving him to head back to the apartment.
~Hours later~
After a peaceful lunch it was time for their final class of the day "Alright so today we'll be doing something a little different, the leaf exercise, then we'll move on to our regular exercises" Iruka announced.
Passing over a leaf to each of his students "So we're not doing spars" Ino asked, a bit more subdued than usual after getting scolded by the principal for her behavior, not to mention her own Dad had forbade her from hanging out with Ami who was the source of her bad behavior.
"No Ino-chan" Iruka said, a little suspicious as to the reason why Ino was asking before focusing on instructing the kids on how to perform the exercise "Just like that, very good Sasuke-kun" Iruka praised.
When Sasuke managed to keep the leaf stuck to his forehead with his chakra, he was feeling really smug about it to until Iruka turned to her, Sakura Haruno, who was doing a hand stand, leaf stuck to her big toe "Brilliant Sakura-chan you have excellent chakra control" Iruka clapped.
Clearly more proud of the rosette "To be truthful Iruka-sensei this isn't the first time I've done this exercise, Mrs. Inuzuka had me practice it way back when she first started training me" Sakura admitted.
Standing upright once more with her feet on the ground, Sasuke scowled unhappily "I can do that to Iruka-sensei" Sasuke boasted, doing a wobbly hand stand but when he attempted to focus chakra into his toe his chakra wouldn't do as he wanted and the leaf drifted to the ground.
"Looks like you'll need a bit more training before attempting that Sasuke-kun on that note it's time to start your exercises so go around the track seven times then do your push ups, sit ups, practice your throwing and finally practice your taijutsu on the dummies" Iruka instructed.
Upon the class ending Sasuke stomped his way over to Sakura "Why does everything come easy to you, until you came I was the best in class" Sasuke scowled, clearly unhappy with how things were going.
Chartreuse orbs contracted and narrowed into slits "So you think I have it easy do you" Sakura crossed her arms over her chest and glared right back, neither six year old paying attention as Itachi arrived to walk his brother home.
Only to pause seeing the confrontation "Of course you do, your just a civilian yet your here in the academy two years early, stop showing me up or else" Sasuke snapped, Sakura's expression flattened in response.
But she knew she couldn't tell him the truth, Sasuke would just blab it to the entire village "That's enough Otouto, Sakura-san trained hard to enter the academy, you don't want Father to know your behaving in such a way that would look poorly on our clan would you" Itachi intervened.
Seeing the hurt deep within those emerald orbs, something Sasuke couldn't see after his accusation "She started it Ni-san, she's obviously doing this because she's a fan girl and wants my attention" Sasuke said.
Hinata gripped Sakura's hand and Sakura had to grab onto Kiba so he didn't attack Sasuke "Stuff it Uchiha your just jealous that you couldn't concentrate chakra in your foot like Sakura could" Kiba snorted derisively.
Itachi quirked a brow at Sakura "Cause it's significantly harder to focus chakra to other places in your body, hands being the easiest of course and in order to maintain good chakra control Mrs. Inuzuka has me practice the leaf exercise often" Sakura explained.
Pretty much ignoring Sasuke at this point "True Sakura-san, right lets go Otouto" Itachi stated, herding his brother down the street to their clan compound, leaving the trio to wait a few minutes longer until Genma showed up, Ko on his heels.
"Made a spot for you kids to study at and Hayate is off ordering barbecue for you with some grilled vegetables as a side" Genma informed, once they'd entered the apartment and he gestured over to the low table where the children could work or study as needed.
Within a few minutes the six year old's had crowded around the table and Sakura had pulled out the study guides she'd made "Wow Sakura this is awesome and will definitely make studying for the test so much easier" Kiba exclaimed.
Awed that she'd put so much thought into the study guides for them "Thank you Sa..Sakura-chan" Hinata smiled appreciatively at her best friend before they flipped open their books to get started on their task.
Half an hour later Hayate came back to a surprisingly quiet apartment, that is until he entered the living room just as Sakura jumped up and pointed her finger at Kiba who was gaping at the pinkette "Beat you again Kiba" Sakura snickered.
Prompting the Inuzuka heir to throw his hands in the air, Hinata giggling away like no tomorrow "Your impossible Sakura, there should be absolutely no way you remember something that obscure from a book you only read once" Kiba sulked.
Sakura sat back down still giggling "Don't feel so bad K..Kiba-kun I didn't even remember that b..but Sakura-chan has an eidetic memory, an..anyway lets d..do another round" Hinata consoled the pouting Kiba.
Before suggesting they continue studying, Hayate snuck by unnoticed and raised an eyebrow at his friend "They turned it into a game when Tsume's brat started complaining that studying was getting boring and I must say that Kid is a pure genius" Genma said.
Listening to the kids in the living room as they played their game, learning all they needed for their test at the same time "Maybe I should go back out and get them dessert since they are actually behaving and studying" Hayate mused.
Genma snorted but didn't disagree because all three six year old's hadn't given him any grieve since arriving "Oi kids, Hayate's gonna go back out and get you a sweet, what do you want" Genma hollered into the living room.
The chatter instantly died down "Dango" Kiba called back, followed by dango for Hinata and matcha anmitsu for Sakura, then they went back to playing their game, Hayate chuckled and exited the apartment again.
And got back fifteen minutes later only to find the children taking a quick break in order to work on their homework, then a couple hours afterwards the takeout was plated up "Come eat dinner you three" Hayate said.
Inwardly amused when they simply left the low table with their books spread out and filed into the kitchen "Thank you for the food" Hinata hummed, waiting patiently until the first bite had been eaten by the adults before digging in to her own plate.
Followed by Sakura "Yes thank you Genma-san, Hayate-san" Sakura nodded happily, clearly enjoying her barbecue wings, she wasn't the only one however as Kiba was basically inhaling his food alongside Akamaru while Boei ate with manners like his partner.
Until their plates were cleared and out came the dessert, even the two companions got a dessert, diced cantaloupe for Boei and pumpkin treats for Akamaru "Right you three should try to get in another hour of studying before someone comes to pick Hinata-san up" Hayate suggested.
Before they could however there was a knock and Genma went to answer it this time "Seriously, her to…fine I guess it's not that big of a deal" Genma sighed, relenting to whatever request the visitor had asked of him.
The door shut a couple minutes later and Genma returned with another pack "Looks like both of you are staying the night, which means I need to set out a couple more futons" Genma informed, glancing to Hinata who nodded in understanding.
Well mannered thankfully then she immersed herself into studying "Alright bath time you three" Hayate declared two hours later, seeing their exhaustion, though he had no doubt that these kids would probably get the highest scores on their test.
Sakura jumped up, pulling Hinata up with her "Come on Hinata-chan lets bathe together" Sakura grinned, leading her friend to the bathroom and leaving Kiba and Akamaru behind as Boei padded after the two young heiresses.
"Goodnight Gekkou-san, Shiranui-san, Kiba-kun" Hinata yawned once they returned from their bath and were dressed in their pajamas which meant it was Kiba's turn while the girls got settled on the futons that had been set out for them.
And twenty minutes later Kiba joined them "Night Sakura, Hinata, Akamaru" Kiba whispered, curling up beneath the blanket and drifting off to sleep mere seconds later and not long after Hayate and Genma joined them in sleep.
Only to repeat the next morning and the next day the three friends had another study session before it was finally Friday the day of the test and the day Sakura's parents returned from their trip "Good luck on your test today Kid" Genma waved.
After reaching the academy, Sakura waved back then hurriedly followed behind Hinata as they headed into the building and down the hall to their classroom where Kiba was waiting "Morning Sakura, Hinata" Kiba greeted.
Moving out of the way so that Sakura and Hinata could take their seats "Yes g…good morning K..Kiba-kun a..are you ready f..for t..today's test" Hinata nodded, feeling a little nervous obviously as she stuttered more than usual.
Kiba nodded eagerly "There's a couple of things I'm worried about but overall I think I'll do well since we studied three days straight" Kiba admitted, not as nervous as the bluenette while Sakura was as cool as a cucumber.
"We'll all do well I'm sure so try not to worry to much Hinata-chan" Sakura soothed, confident that they'd get good grades on their tests and then just because pulled out her study guide in order to get in some last minute studying.
Not to be left out Hinata and Kiba did the same until the rest of their classmates had filed into the classroom and Iruka arrived to do roll call "Test time just as I warned you on Tuesday you have a test on the warring states era" Iruka declared.
Passing out the tests he'd made up for his students, unsurprisingly the first ones done were Sakura, Hinata and Sasuke, followed by Ino, Choji, Shikamaru, Shino, Naruto and finally Kiba "Free time for the rest of class and there will be no homework for the weekend" Iruka announced.
Collecting the tests and getting started on grading them, soft chatter filled the classroom as the six year old's talked with one another until the last fifteen minutes of class ended and it was time for Math and before they knew it they were out for the weekend.
Upon exiting the academy Sakura brightened exponentially "Mom, Dad" Sakura yelled, pleased to see them home and in one piece as she ran straight for the duo and was lifted into Kizashi's arms once she'd reached them.
"Hello Blossom I heard you were good for Shiranui-san and Gekkou-san" Kizashi greeted, hugging his daughter and thanking all the kami that she was alright, having been worried this whole time especially after that incident right after they'd left.
Sakura smiled radiantly up at him before reaching for her Mother and Mebuki was more than happy to cradle her daughter in her arms "What your Father didn't mention is that for being such a good girl you get a reward and it can be anything within reason of course" Mebuki announced.
Watching how the pinkette lit up with excitement "Really Momma….hmm I can't think of anything right now so can I take a rain-check until I find something I really want" Sakura asked, and got a nod before frowning as she couldn't think of anything right off the top of her head.
Her parents were more than amused as Mebuki placed the six year old on her feet and she hugged Hinata and Kiba before following them back home, Boei on her heels and when they got home, her house felt normal.
There she spent the rest of the afternoon doing what homework the sensei had assigned, chattering with her mom and dad the whole while before Mebuki disappeared into the kitchen to make dinner and soon after a bath Sakura was snoozing the night away in her bed.
