yayy i never went as far as to 16 chapters in one of my stories! so here comes ch 16 and enjoy!
Delancy and Draco sat down together, feeling nervous about the letter. Draco already knew its contents, but it still made him nervous and all... Delancy on the other hand had absolutely no idea what the letter might contain, and was just slightly concerned about it.
She and Draco stared at it for a few moments before Draco plucked it out of Delancy's hand and opened it, handing the letter paper back to Delancy to read:
To Delancy Potter,
It is me, Tom Riddle. Yes i am back to that name and look. Hoping you fare well. I have written to you to inform you that you are obligated to stay at my manor and are expected to be there by tomorrow afternoon maximum. I am sorry for keeping you in the shadows by not telling you why i want you to move out of the Malfoy estate. Trust me i have no intention of acting like that vile headmaster of hogwarts, for i shall inform you about my reason soon. Very soon in fact and sooner than you may think and on the oddest of days.
Well then, i think i must say until we meet tomorrow.
Tom Riddle~
Delancy was gaping. Voldemort spoke of himself as Tom Riddle and took that form back. Yes it was surprising, and even more that she was to move to his mansion by tomorrow. She was annoyed that she had no clue about the reason, but at least he promised her to tell her, unlike a certain Albus Dumbledore...
"So, it all seems to be moving so quick to you, is it not? Bet you are quite shocked about moving out... I would really say that i want you to stay with me but... Seems that can't happen now, can it? You know I am going to miss you a hell lot, you, your presence, your giggles, your cuddles. But i will visit you as often as possible, and in a few days, i will aquire contacting mirrors, so we can communicate with voice and picture." Draco reassured. It have in fact helped a lot, and Delancy was thankful.
"Like a mobile video phone call?" Delancy asked hopeful, completely forgetting that mobile phones do not exist in the wizarding world
"A... mobi what?" Draco said, confused as hell it being the first time hearing about such a thing in his entire life.
"A mobile phone, Draco. It is a muggle electrical device. It has many features and is quite useful to contact people in a just a moment. You can send a message - no not by owl or any flying thing- it sends them... um, in the air. You do not need the floo to see another person's face because you just have to press a couple buttons and voila! If we go to muggle london sometime in the future, I will buy us phones." She explained
Then packing up, Delancy asked Draco to help her, and what on troublesome thing it that was that she asked him of all people... He did not know how to fold clothes properly, he blushed a hell lot than what was healthy when he touched her ... underclothes ... Wow, the boy seemed too pampered to ever have touched girl stuff... or fold anything anyways.
When they were done, each took a bath, then snuggled together in Draco's spacious bed really well. They were making up for all the days they will not cuddle in advance... though those will be forgotten and soon the urge will come back, and much sooner than needed.
Night rolled in, and the two slept together in Draco's bed, curled up one another...
The next morning, Delancy was kissed awake by Draco, seeing it as the only way to actually awaken the dead, also known as Delancy, from her deep slumber. It was still and will always be a wonder how she was this thick about her sleep. Draco made breakfast, and burned it of course along with his finger which Delancy fixed after letting Draco fully understand that pains of not listening to his girlfriend and leaving the kitchen for itself.
"Poor kitchen, had to undergo the unprofessionality of a certain mop of blonde hair..." spoke Delancy, in that childish, mocking tone.
"Hey hey! It is me whose finger burned, not the kitchen! If there is anyone you should be reprimanding right now it is supposed to be the kitchen, i mean the pan... um or the fire... or something I DON'T KNOW!" Draco said, then stuttered, not realizing he fell right into Delancy's trap.
"Oh really? And who may i ask entered the kitchen and played with the fire when i explicitly said no?" Delancy mocked.
Draco blushed. He felt embarrased now. She always found herself a way into embarrassing Draco and he felt degraded in his opinion.
"Now, you deal with your pain until we finish breakfast and then i will heal it for you so you realize how bad it would hurt when you disobey me." She said, smirking, and going back to cooking them breakfast leaving a very flushed Draco in pain from his finger. Apparently... he lost a point for Delancy, and he had to wait as if he was punished.
Finger healed, lunch eaten, goodbyes said, cuddles made, Delancy then was dropped off at the Riddle Manor again, now a familiar place from the usual visits during the last few months of the school year. Delancy was greeted by a house elf, Tristy, then her luggage taken in by Tristy's sibling, Tristin. She smiled at both elves and walked with the two house elves who led her to Tom's office.
Knock knock, the door of the dark lord's office was heard, entrance permission granted showing the familiar form of his daughter, while the two house elves disappeared with Delancy's bags to her room which she has yet to see.
"Oh hello, Miss Delancy. Welcome... welcome. I hope you were not too overwhelmed about the sudden change of environment- i apologize for that- but it was inevitable." He said, Delancy smiling back at him.
"It is fine really, my previous visits got me used to this magnificent place. Though i must say that i was surprised when informed that i should reside at your place for the summer. Though i have to be truthful that i was quite confused for i had and still have no idea what use would i have to be at my lord's luxurious home at such a hurry at that." She said politely.
"Well then, how about you settle in your room, Tristy will lead you there of course. Take all the time you need to make youself at home. When you are ready, and feeling stable enough to hold a conversation we will talk about the reason i called you over in a short amount of time. Until then, it was a pleasure seeing you." Delancy curtsey-ed a little, an elegant gesture, and the female version of bowing which is for males...
Tristy walked Delancy through amazing halls, wide, non ending they seemed in fact. It was quite the lovely hallway, the corners of the floors and ceiling has intricate engraves on them, fancy indeed. A soft, red carpet was made to specifically fit the floors. There were chandeliers hanging every equal certain distance which Alena never seemed to bother guessing.
Then Tristy stopped in front of a pretty door. It was a beautiful shade of fancy brown, with no doorknob...
"Tristy, why is there no doorknob on this door?" asked a perplexed Delancy.
"Ohh, my y- I mean Miss Potter... This door can be opened only by a number of people for your utmost safety so that only those you give access to shall enter, otherwise the one who tries opening it in any way or form would be cursed. Only a number of house elves are allowed to apparate into Miss Potter's room for Master Riddle is the one who assigned them. Otherwise, any house elf not assigned shall be stuck in the space where you apparate from to. I mean, that there is a blank space we pass through quite quickly, this blank space is the space that contains us to while we travel to our destination when we apparate, which we do most of the time." Tristy explained happily, trying to shake the nervousness of almost calling Delancy as My young lady which she soon will be announced as so.
Tom had told from the house elves only tristy and tristan about his daughter and no other. He told them to not call her by young lady or anything showing her relation to the Riddles until he says otherwise.
"Thank you Tristy. The explanation was all so helpful and all... but how do i open the door?" She questioned, as it was her initial confusion.
"Oh yes, Tristy is sorry for not answering the initial question. Just push it back lightly, it will recognize your hand, or anyone's hand with permission, and it will open itself. To any unwelcomed hand, the person will be electrocuted the first time. If they try opening it with magic, they will be banished from life... same to wizard or human apparition in or out of the room." Tristy said, back on original topic.
"Well, thank you Tristy, i think i need to change my clothes and rest a little first." Delancy said, dismissing the house elf that bowed before leaving.
Delancy then let her mask down... because damn the room was cool. It was mostly green and silver. Silver walls and a green carpet. A silver poster bed with sparkly silver drapes (is that the word i dont know). Green curtains gracefully lay on the sides of a big window in the large room. She turned her head to the closet... quite a grande one at that it seems. Delancy opened it... a very vast very filled closet it was, more of a walk in closet. She never remembered owning such an amount of clothes before, or enough to fill a bloody walk in closet. Winter, summer, spring, autum clothing... Fancy, casual, daily, elegant dresses, shirts, skirts, pants, and shorts.
All was perfectly sewn for every single occasion. Delancy was completely breathtaken by that. They were just so pretty.
But who put those there? she thought, looking for her own clothes. She did not find them in the closet at all. That huge space holding massive amounts of clothing pretty much held none of her own clothes. She gave up, and closed the closet door as she left it, and looked around the room that she has to think as her own for a piece of her own luggage Finally, She spotted it, in the far corner of the room. It seemed so small in comparison to all that was in her range of sight. As she came to grab the bag, she saw a note.
I did not know what kind of clothing you prefer, so i got some from everything. The room and every single item in it is yours and only yours as a welcome and apology gift for calling you in such a hurry away from your loved one(s).Make yourself at home.
From,
Tom Riddle.
Okay what! He is saying that all this was made to welcome her and apologize to her! She was astonished, and could not hide it at all. Now she had to know how to manage keep her mask up while she thanks Tom for such an amazing gift. She could not describe it, and did not bother any longer. Words do not describe everything you want to...
Delancy sat on the bed... a soft one indeed. Really soft and comfortable. Even better and more spacious than that of hogwarts' beds. She smiled contently, joy filling her facial expressions just the way it filled her cute cheeks.
Breathing one last deep breath, Delancy got up, walked her way to that room of a closet... trying to search for a suitable outfit. She will have to arrange them first by magic. First she sorted the winter clothes alone in the farthest corner, next fall clothes, spring clothing and summer were placed closest to her. Then she sorted those into light colored and dark colored. She still did not feel satisfied enough to hand pick yet... a sorting more or two and she would find the right pieces to wear. Going to the dark colored pile, she then picked the short and more revealing clothes out of the pile and laid them on the vast bed.
Finally, after returning the clothes she did not want for now back to the closet, then walked back to the bed drowned in skirts, dresses, shorts, and shirts. Looking at them one by one, Delancy ended up choosing a fancy, black, mid thigh length dress. High neck, covering her collarbone in blavk silky cloth. It held her bust firmly, tight long sleeves from the shoulder to the elbow, then it folded puffs from there till mid palms. The cloth seemed to work on making Delancy's hourglass figure bolder, a.k.a. smaller waist and rounder hips. The dress held on the beginning of her hips then hung loosely till mid thighs. Her slender legs showed off well in skin toned tights and wore a pair of black pumps (pumps is a british word meaning not-so-high heels).
She brushed her hair and spelled it all soft wavy, from the roots to the ends. She wore a green bow on her hair, colored somehow like her eyes. Over all, she looked gorgeous, seriously beautiful in fact.
Delancy looked herself on a mirror, she had to admit, that fenake dorm was one hell of a great body, face, hair and all actually. One would mistake her for a veela. Maybe she was one... but did not know for now. Delancy had a little information about veelas, absolutely perfect looking and pretty girls, absorbing almost any person from the opposite gender into their sheer beauty and loveliness. Veelas are powerful, really powerful in fact. They can be known as selfish, self absorbed, and arrogant. But others are kind, soft hearted, gentle, cute, loveable and prideful. Yet it was common that many females can have grudges and jealousy against them for their utter marvelousness.
As Delancy deemed herself ready, she looked at herself one more time and left her room confidently, to the Dark Lord's office for it was time to grow more... familiar perhaps...
