"What if Madame thinks that it was you that poisoned Luka?" Marinette leaned closer and whispered into Adrien's ear as they sat in the carriage.
"Why would she think such a thing?" Adrien was shocked, but then he thought about how much he had pushed her with money to try and win Marinette.
"Because. You have been spending plenty of time trying to pay your way into her heart for a silly little dream of mine." Marinette began to worry and chew on her nails for a moment.
"Twas not just your dream, my dear. I have dreams of having a house and home with you. Sitting in front of a beautiful fireplace and enjoying my days and nights with you." Adrien warmly smiled at her as he adjusted his hat.
"I just- I worry is all." Marinette pulled her coat closer around her shoulders, as they arrived at Nino's place. She peered up at the tall apartment building and then back at Adrien. "Where are we?"
"We… are at my chuckaboo's home." Adrien smiled as he got out of the carriage and held his hand out towards her with her luggage in his other hand.
Marinette picked up the skirt of her dress and took his hand, stepping out of the carriage. Adrien led her up to the door, taking it up the long winding staircase to Nino's floor.
"Do tell me that your chuckaboo expects our arrival?" Marinette swallowed hard as she watched him rap his fist on the wooden door.
"I dare hope so. I have spoken with him previously and warned him of our impending arrival." Adrien laughed and smiled when the sound of locks being undone echoed down the hallway. "Ah, there we are."
"Welcome." Nino smiled and held his door open for them.
Adrien gripped his best friend's shoulder and helped Marinette inside, taking off his hat. "I can not tell you how much we appreciate your kindness and hospitality."
"My pleasure. Please do make yourselves comfortable." Nino closed his front door, and Adrien set down Marinette's luggage.
Nino walked over to Adrien, while Marinette had a look around the apartment. He clapped Adrien on the shoulder and leaned over to speak into his ear. "How did it go with the church-bell's father?"
"I did not cop a mouse, so I dare say it went rather well considering." Adrien shrugged and Nino laughed.
"Right then. How about I get you settled into the guest room. I have only got one. Afraid you will have to share the bed." Nino jabbed his elbow into Adrien's chest, causing him to burst out into a laugh.
"I think we will manage." Marinette placed her hands on her bodice and spun around to face the two men with a smile. "I mean, if Adrien does not mind." She blushed and reached up with one hand to bring a loose strand of hair behind her ear.
"No, no qualms here." Adrien gave her a shy smile and rubbed the back of his neck with one hand.
"Then I shall bid you both a goodnight." Nino bowed and left them alone to set-up the guest bedroom.
"Well? Shall we get the bedroom sorted for bed?" Marinette swallowed hard and went to grab her luggage, but Adrien beat her to it. His fingers touched hers and she gasped, yanking her hand away with a blush. "Apologies."
"No need for apologies, my dear." Adrien picked up her bag and gestured towards the guest room. "It is just down the hall."
"I appreciate the help." Marinette curtsied and followed him down the hallway to the bedroom on the left.
Adrien opened the door and the hinges released a loud shriek. "Could use some oil." He laughed and held the door open for her. "Your humble abode, Mademoiselle."
Marinette giggled and reached up to pat his cheek as she passed. "You are too kind to me, Monsieur."
"You deserve the utmost care and admiration, my dear." Adrien warmly smiled as she reached up on her toes to brush her lips against his.
"Too kind." Marinette sighed and weakly smiled as she walked into the bedroom.
The room was not as fancy as others with it's peeling emerald green wallpaper and creaking floorboards. The metal framed bed was barely big enough for two people, but they would make due. The sheets could use a good washing, but she had slept on worse in her lifetime.
Marinette spun around and sat down on the edge of the bed, eliciting a squeak from the broken springs within the mattress. "Charming little room, is it not?"
"I could think of more charming places, but it will do for now." Adrien sighed and set her bag down on a vanity that was long forgotten in the room.
"How long have you known your chuckaboo?" Marinette began to undo her corset, causing it to loosen enough for her to tug it over her head.
"Years, probably. We go a ways back to school children almost." Adrien set his hat on the vanity and began to slip off his coat.
"Ah, long time then." Marinette undid her hair, letting it cascade down her back.
They finished getting undressed and ready for bed. Marinette folded back the sheet for them and climbed into bed. She watched Adrien crawl into bed beside her, taking the spot that was not against the wall.
"Are you sure?" Marinette searched his gaze, laying on her side to face him.
"I need to be able to protect you in case someone finds us, my dear." Adrien smiled and brushed her hair behind her ear, pausing to graze his thumb along her warm cheek. "I could not fathom losing a woman such as yourself."
"I would never let that happen." Marinette touched his wrist and leaned in to brush her lips against his. "Never, ever. You are too precious to me."
She rolled on top of him, straddling his hips and kissing down his body. "You mean too much to me. Saved me and made me feel pure and wanted. Loved."
Adrien sighed and licked his lips as she began to trail soft kisses across his hips, teasing him and making him softly moan. "And I will continue to keep my lady safe."
"I believe that you are more than capable, my love." Marinette sighed and softly moaned, undoing his undergarments and slowly licking up the underside of his hardened length.
Adrien let out a soft moan and raised his hips when her warm mouth surrounded his cock. He tilted his head and watched her through his long lashes with parted lips. She was absolutely stunning as she brought her lips down to the base and back up to the swollen tip. There was no way that he could fathom loving any other woman. She was gorgeous in the moonlight and the sunlight. Anytime of day, she was the most stunning woman around to him.
"Marinette." Adrien whispered her name on his lips like a prayer.
"Hm?" Marinette hummed around his hardened length, eliciting a moan from his lips.
"Kiss me." Adrien spoke quietly and she ran her lips and tongue up to the tip one last time before trailing kisses back up his body.
She settled on top of him, taking his hands into hers above his head. He let go of one of her hands to cradle her face, brushing a thumb along the apple of her cheek. "I love you."
"I love you too." Marinette sighed and leaned down to capture his lips with hers.
Adrien gently rolled her onto her back, and she giggled when the bed creaked beneath them. He softly chuckled and his hair fell around his face and tickled hers. "Blasted bed."
"Do not mind the bed. Make love to me." Marinette spoke, breathlessly, and yanked him down for a heated kiss.
He quietly laughed and parted his lips to run his tongue along hers, slowly entering her and starting out at a gentle pace. She broke the kiss to peer into his kind emerald hued gaze and moand, while he pumped into her. She ran her hands up his back and gripped his muscles with her nails, as he leaned down to nibble on her peaked nipples through her thin chemise.
She arched her back and rolled her hips in time with his. Her nails bit into his back as she raked them down to his muscular behind. She widened her legs and pulled him closer, rocking her hips with his and moaning louder.
Adrien smirked and brought his index finger up to his lips, "Shh… do you wish to let Nino hear what we are up to?"
Marinette gave him a dangerous expression and leaned up to bite his bottom lip, raking her teeth along it. "Maybe. What would you gather if I did wish for such a sinful outcome?"
Adrien feigned a gasp and thrusted into her hard once, eliciting a gasp and loud mewl from her. "I would say that I may, in fact, accept your little game."
"Then let us make the city of love jealous." Marinette ran her hand up to tangle her fingers into his damp golden hair, yanking him down into a rough kiss.
Adrien groaned and thrusted into her harder and faster, causing the bed to squeak in a loud and fast pattern. One that could not be mistaken for anything but what it was. They stopped caring about being heard and got lost in one another. Moans and the sounds of the bed filled the room.
Marinette embraced him and her body tensed up and her toes curled, as she neared her climax. She was so close and with one more tilt of his hips and brush of her swollen bud, she let go with rolling hips and loud screams of ecstasy. Adrien covered her cheeks and lips with loving kisses, whispering sweet endearing words that had her heart reeling in bliss. Within moments, Adrien was suddenly speeding up his hips, pulling out, and falling over the edge. She had never heard her name spoken so sweetly by anyone, as she watched him release onto her stomach.
She panted and tried to catch her breath as he shifted to remove his undergarments to clean her up. Marinette grabbed his forearm and tugged him down to the bed, placing her thigh over his hips and drawing circles between his pecs with her fingertip.
"Satisfied?" Adrien softly chuckled and felt her nod against his upper arm.
"More than satisfied." Marinette cuddled closer and he ran his fingers through her damp hair. She yawned and he sighed leaning over to kiss the top of her head.
"You have no idea how thrilled I am to hear that." Adrien slowly closed his eyes, yawning. "I am terribly exhausted."
Marinette got more comfortable and within moments she had fallen asleep.
They had barely slept for a moment when Marinette started to scream in her sleep. Adrien sprang awake and sat up, nudging Marinette. "Marinette. Marinette, get up, love."
Marinette suddenly sat up and threw herself at him, while Nino burst into the bedroom. Adrien peered over at Nino, taking in how his best friend was panting in a panic. She sobbed against Adrien's chest, gripping at anything she could.
Nino ran a hand through his hair, shaking his head and leaving them alone. He thought someone had broken in with how she had screamed.
"Love?" Adrien pulled her away and cupped her face, brushing her messy hair away from her terrified gaze. "You are safe, I promise you." He began to pepper kisses along her cheeks and forehead. He took his time kissing each corner of her lips. "We are okay."
"I had an atrocious nightmare about Monsieur Couffaine. I thought he had returned and had challenged you to a duel, where you had lost. I held you as you drew your last breaths, Adrien." Marinette sobbed and threw herself at him again. "I was so frightened. So very frightened."
"Shh, shh. Tis fine, my dear." Adrien held her and waited for her to calm down. "I will not let anything happen to you and he is gone. He will never return. I will make damn sure of it."
