Context: In this AU, Raven takes the poisoned apple by accident, and is put into sleep. Apple saves her.

Apple walked with Braebyrn into a cave tunnel, and then to a hill that led to the pixie village. "Whoa!" Apple exclaimed. She saw her friends laughing together, and then Raven came into her view, laughing warmly, firewood in hand. Apple's heart sank. She knew she had messed up, big time. She took a step further, and the girls gasped. "I thought you said this place was a secret!" Raven said to Darling, who just shrugged. "Raven!" Apple yelled, running to her friends. "Apple." Raven said, so bitterly, Apple was sure she had been given a lemon.
Apple took a breath. "I'm sorry, I was selfish." She said. Raven looked at her for a moment. "Go on." She said quietly. "Your mom hasn't changed, I had. And now I want to change again - for the better, for good. I know I can't turn back the pages, but I believe-I believe we can all have our happily ever afters, but not until we stop your mom." Apple explained, her voice going from scared to angry. From happy to sad. Suddenly Raven put her hand on her shoulder. "And we will, my friend." Raven smiled, and Apple looked up with a happy smile. "Awww." Their friends chimed in, and Apple laughed.
A few moments later, Apple's leaning on Raven, Raven on her. And Apple's so tired. And Raven's so warm. Suddenly Featherly came to them, a fruit basket with her, talking to Ashlynn. "Why thank you, Featherly. The pixies say if we plan to face the Evil Queen, we need to nourish ourselves." Ashlynn said, taking a pear. Apple sighed. "This is going to be fairy, fairy dangerous. The Evil Queen has turned half our friends and all of the staff into creatures! The place is like a mile high off the ground, and surrounded by dark, dark dragons." She explained, her friends sadly and tiredly nodding along. "Then we need our strength." Raven said beside her. "Oh, thanks." She smiled at the pixie, and took an apple. 'Ironic.' Apple thought, taking a bite of her own pear.
Apple watched Raven fiddle with the fuirt for a minute, before biting into it. Apple looked away, opening her mouth to ask Darling something, when suddenly Raven coughed and stood up. She walked away, her face turned pale. "Raven?" Apple asked concerned. Raven fell to the ground, her hands closing around her own throath. "It burns." She squeaked. Apple and their friends rushed to Raven's side. "Raven!" Maddie yelped, taking a dissapearing, black apple into her hand. Apple recognized it. It was from the Evil Queen herself. The apple was for her. "Is she dead?" Apple asked quickly, looking at Maddie. "No. Just sleeping." Maddie said.
Apple didn't know how long she had sat beside Braebyrn while crying. "It's my fault." Apple said, burying her head into the dragon's neck. Nevermore, now the size of a teen dragon, walked up to them. "I'm sorry Nevermore, Raven's gone." Apple choked out, petting the dragon's head. Nevermore purred sadly and pit her head down on Apple's lap.
Apple sat next to Raven's sleeping body. Apple's eyes were red and puffy from crying, and she could feel more tears forming. A loud roar alarmed her and she stood up. She saw the dark dragons flying over them. Her friends ran to her. "What's happening?" Holly asked. Suddenly, Poppy gasped. "It's the Evil Queen." She said. "How did she find us? Why is she here?" Ashlynn asked, looking just as alarmed as everyone else. "She must know about Raven." Darling replied. Apple put her hand over Raven in a protective way.
The dark dragons finally flew down, the Evil Queen standing in front of them. A distraught and scared Faybelle followed her. "Apple White." The Evil Queen said, looking at Apple pointedly. "Don't touch them." Darling said and everyone nodded. "Touching. Now let me see my daughter." The Evil Queen said walking closer. Apple didn't stand back, but she did lower her hand away. Raven's body was framed with flowers and dark, almost purple leaves. Apple studied the Evil Queen scared. The things she could do to her or more importantly to Raven terrified her. "You did this to her. Your obsession to get your happily ever after drew Raven into this state." The Evil Queen spoke, looking at Apple. Apple was more scared that the Evil Queen wasn't smiling or trying to joke around. She was truely angry. "You are the villan of your own story, with her." She finished and Apple glanced at Raven. "But you can reverse it, right? You created the curse. And she's supposed to be a villan." Apple tried to reason. "You know how the story goes, Apple. And no one can love a villan." The Evil Queen said. "I have a school to lead, don't I?" She smiled walking to the dragons and Faybelle. They left, and Apple felt empty.
Apple took Raven's hands into hers. "I'm so sorry." She whispered. Their friends had found other escapies, and were trying to help them and make a plan. Apple didn't want people to all crowd around Raven, so she didn't let people visit her. Suddenly, Darling came rushing to her. "Faybelle's here, on our side. She opened the mirror!" Darling said excitedly, but quieted down. "We have to came get her after we defeat the Evil Queen." She explained, putting a hand on Apple's shoulder. "Daring was trapped in the mirror, by the way." Darling tried to smile and Apple smiled just for a second. "Come soon. We need you." Darling said and left Apple alone. "No, we need you." Apple whispered, looking at Raven's face, searching, but finding nothing.
Apple stood up. She had to leave. It was time to defeat the Evil Queen, to make her pay, for their friends, the school, Snow White and Raven. But Apple couldn't let go. She hung onto Raven's hand. "You're not a villan, Raven." Apple whispered. "And you are loved, so, so loved." She continued, tears finding their way back to her eyes. "And I love you more than anyone." She finished. "Apple! Come on!" Came a shout. Apple looked away, took a step forward, before quickly snapping back and kissing Raven.
Apple felt Raven come back to life under her. It was surreal. "You're back." Apple smiled, keeping her head close to Raven's, a tear rolling down her cheek. "I'm...?" Raven started, her brain finally catching up, and she smiled back. "You saved me." Raven smiled, looking straight into Apple's eyes. "About time I paid you back." Apple laughed through tears. Raven sat up fully. She took hesitantly Apple's hand into her own. They stayed like that for a hot second.
"So, is this a thing now?" She asked glancing at their now linked hands. "If you want that." Apple added and Raven stood up from her bed. "It had to happen at some point, right? But about time I pay you back." Raven smiled, cupping Apple's face and pulling her into a kiss. Apple smiled, and they soon had to break apart from laughing warmly. After they calmed down, Apple looked into Raven's eyes. "Your Mother's still free. And now we have to stop her." She explained. "How?" Raven asked. "Faybelle came to us with the mirror. She's done with your mother." Apple replied and Raven nodded. "Let's stop my mother." Raven smiled determanetly.
Apple smiled happily, as she and Raven walked up to the others and they 'oohed' and 'awwed' at them. Maddie was the first one to scream that Raven was awake, and then say that Raven and Apple were now dating. Raven had hugged Maddie for a long minute, before they desided to part. Apple had smiled and talked to their other friends and curious schoolmates about them.
Apple and Raven were the last ones to get on their dragons. "Stay safe, please." Raven pleaded, taking Apple's hands. "Of course. And I know you'll come to save me, if I can't save myself." Apple smiled, kissing Raven lightly. Raven put the mirror into Apple's hands. "Raven?" Apple asked. "Take it, try to free the students, I need to speak to my mother alone. But be there to imprison her." Raven explained, getting on Nevermore. "I will." Apple nodded and Raven flew off. "I love you." Apple whispered, smiling happily.
How it would continue but I'm too lazy:
- Raven talks to her mother and the Evil Queen imprisons her like in the series, but without the whole costume change
- The other students save the others before the actual fight
- The school would get damaged badly, which makes Apple rethink imprisoning the Evil Queen once again
- Raven shows up, tells Apple she loves her, and that Apple, though a human, is not the villan
- The Evil Queen is imprisoned by Apple and Raven like in the series
- Instead of just falling, Raven and Appld destroy the mirror together
- The school is restored
- Everyone is safe
- Everything plays out the same, except now Raven and Apple are together
