Back with the team of time travelers who had arrived at their destination, somewhat since it became 60 years into the future instead of 10 years, and were pleasantly surprised by their surroundings.

The world looked very much futuristic like most of the advanced planets with flying cars, holograms, androids, clean and pollution free environment.

Wait what

Impulse was definitively shocked since this wasn't his future. This place looked too peaceful and the people seemed really happy.

"Where are we?" Jaime asked as they had landed in the middle of a park filled with giant trees

"Metropolis of the future" Kara replied as she found the daily planet building along with the Superman statue not so far away with her sight

"How far did we travel?"

"Sixty years" Impulse ran into the city and came back after checking the date on one of the holograms

"Okay, so what have you planned for this trip?" Kara asked as she was itching to find the answers

She wanted to see her future self and the team's future.

'What was the result of the crisis? What were the casualties and how did they get here?

I wonder who got together with Naruto. Did he change or not?'

So many questions burning inside her mind, she held back to hear him out.

"We explore and find the answers through interacting with the future heroes. Some of the old ones must be alive." Impulse said as he was thinking about Wally and hoped that nothing happened to him

"Let's move together since we don't what we might face." Kara said as she looked at them and both boys nodded as they could see she was serious

They had heard what she had said to Naruto and they didn't want to become her targets now. Their legs were precious resources, not expendable like Naruto's.

"Good so let's check out our base." Kara said and they flew into space, only to find a colony living on the moon

"I was not expecting that." Jaime muttered as he zoomed on the name

New Konoha

Seeing the name, Kara felt excited and nervous. She didn't what to expect and flew towards the city.

With the help of scarab they were able to slip inside as they were unsure about the world and didn't want people finding out.

The city was a lot like Konoha but with advanced tech and surrounded by mountains and a large forest.

The faces of the Hokage were carved on the nearest mountain and showed Naruto's face as the sixth followed by an unknown man as the seventh.

In the middle of the city were two statues.

Older Naruto standing with an older and bustier Kara.

Seeing this statue, Kara felt so embarrassed but happy.

'AAAAH, I can't believe it.'

"Kara we can ask about this later but we have important stuff to do." Impulse didn't even crack jokes unlike his usual self and was completely focused

"Yeah" Flying to the next statues they found them and it was not a good sight

It was the team of Golden Dawn with all of them standing together looking heroic.

In the loving memory of my friends that stood by me through thick and thin.

All of them were there except Naruto and Jaime.

"What does this mean?" Jaime asked as he didn't see his statue

"We are most likely dead but why is Kara also among these statues when Naruto isn't?" Impulse was confused as well before some thoughts popped into his head

"Let's go check the base, it should have something." Kara didn't understand the scene a d decided to find the information they needed since Naruto hadn't come to meet them

'He is not here.' Kara knew that he would be the first to arrive if he was present since their life signature was saved into his memory

Ignoring the city, they flew back outside and towards the base that was hidden from sight. Moving towards the entrance, they were given entry naturally as their dna was saved into the system.

The gate opened and they flew through the long tunnel towards the base where they were greeted by an android in the shape of Naruto.

"Naruto" Kara didn't that and called out to him but was disappointed hearing his voice

"Kara, are you another clone? No, the entrance wouldn't have opened for a clone so you are real. Looking at your appearance, it's the similar to when you died."

"What? But who is standing with Naruto?"

"That is Kara from another universe."

"Explain the situation, where is Naruto?"

"Master has left this solar system for a decade already and is conquering the worlds to bring them peace and harmony."

"What? Peace and harmony in the same sentence with conquering like that makes no sense."

"You can see the world beneath us for proof. The earth was taken over by master 50 years ago after being chosen by majority of the population. The world was devastated by the vampire crisis and the system had crumbled. The heroes were doing their best but even they felt tired after losing so much but Master put away his grief and continued helping out the people. He was the guide and they were the followers.

Seeing the effectiveness of his ability and his love for them affected the people. They saw hope and joy in his presence so they managed to convince him to become the king. Then there was a battle by people resisting this change which included some heroes and villains. After this he has implemented the master plan to make sure that good is rewarded and encouraged.

It slowly transformed people into completely good natured with few exceptions."

"What kinds of punishments are programmed?" Impulse asked

"Varies according to action but there is no death sentence as the system stops people before any action is taken. It covers the planet and is powered by it so none of the inhabitants can resist it. If you had tried doing anything illegal you would have received the punishment as well."

"Well I don't care about this so what to do now?" Jaime asked since he wasn't interested in hearing this as it would most likely end up changing or he would go through it personally

'Why can't you listen to some useful things? This matters a lot to your future since you are following him. Maybe by listening to this thing about the details will let you help him.'

"The peace and harmony system's working are confidential, only the master knows the details and it's made by him. The details of the Vampire crisis that you need don't exist in my database."

"What happened to the JL and the Vampires?"

"They were exterminated by the heroes and villains along with the earth's forces while the JL members killed by during the conflict and before it leaving Superman.

Superman left the planet after seeing the result of Master's plan after having been imprisoned for two years."

"Nothing good happened because of that nightmare. Any clue where he went?" Kara muttered as she massaged her temple

"Actually where are the other heroes or villains?"

"They all work under Master or became residents somewhere else. This planet is safe now so they didn't have a purpose anymore. As for following master, you will have to explore blindly since there is no indication on the galactic map in the past two years. I will pass you the map but you will have to search on your own since Master is most likely taking a break."

"Aren't you a dumbass? Your master is a control freak with obsession with peace and harmony so the only thing we need to do is cause chaos." Impulse was getting annoyed by the second hearing this bullshit

"I would advise against it."

"So Jaime let's go outside and try to blast a forest somewhere." Impulse pulled on him and even Kara considered it as this was looking a long journey for a meeting when she was already stressed out by the problem at hand and the revelations

Arriving outside the base, the trio looked down at the country on the moon filled with people from many different places.

"Impulse, I think it's a bad idea." Jaime complained seeing the peaceful city under them filled with people going about life happily

"Do you want to explore the vast cosmos for a person? We might not find him before coming across death."

Kara and Jaime couldn't deny his words.

"Let me take out the people from those houses before we destroy them." Kara muttered as she decided to rush towards the city through the barrier covering the city

The moon had its gravity and was livable now but the barrier was in place to keep it safe from attacks.

With her destructive intent Kara was bounced back and broke her nose from the impact.

"Oww" Kara held her face as she straightened her nose

She couldn't believe this just happened and felt rage from the pain but before she could act, ethereal chains popped out from everywhere and tried to capture her.

'Damn, how careful did he become?' Kara wondered as she flew back to avoid them and lashed out with her heat flare as it became too difficult

The heat vision exploded out in wave destroying the chains giving her chance to retreat.

"I guess he wasn't kidding about regretting it." Jaime muttered

"Fuck that robotic bastard. I am going to pick him apart if he doesn't give us a straight answer." Impulse cursed and wanted to go on a rampage

This wasn't a time to admire Naruto's power, he needed some fucking answers.

"Wait, let's think about carefully. Maybe we can find a clue." Kara stopped him before he ran towards the base to cause destruction

Impulse held back but couldn't think right with all this negativity.

'Negativity will make your thoughts a narrow passage. Learn to always keep a positive outlook. There is always more than one answer and if you see only one then you aren't seeing it closely enough.'

'Shut up dream Naruto.' Impulse retorted as he remembered Naruto's words

It was his go to lines when they sparred or did some tasks.

"What could be important enough and easy to destroy?" Jaime muttered as he looked at the city

"The statues of Golden Dawn or the moon base." Kara answered as she looked between those two locations

"Can we really do this? Maybe a worse security function is activated and we get trapped on Prison Island." Jaime reminded them about Naruto's prison island causing them to hesitate because they were done for if they got stuck inside

None of them had the ability to travel dimensions and that place didn't have enough resources to even go back home.

"We look for him for an unknown time or try destroying these two items with a possibility of having him appear or getting imprisoned." Impulse spoke aloud their options through the link

Kara was silent for a moment before she started laughing.

"Why are you laughing? Did you snap from the pressure?" Jaime backed away from Kara and pushed Impulse in front of him

"Dude I didn't expect this from you."

"I just think you are more suited to this task."

"How could we be so stupid? Even if we get captured, Naruto would know about it so he would still come to us." Kara gave them the reason of her crazy laughter and they couldn't help but smack their heads

"So what are we waiting for, let's do this." Impulse felt calm now as it seemed that all the answers were a just a step away now

"You guys handle the statue while I take out the moon base." Kara commanded since Scarab was needed to go through the entrance of the city

"On it" Jaime replied as he flew towards the gate with Impulse while Kara returned to the base

"I warned you didn't I. The barrier is too much for you Kara and unless you want to spend a month inside the sun, it's better to start exploring with this locater and you will know when you are close to him."

"No, we found a better option. We will destroy the base and the statues."

The android stopped for a moment, "That could work."

"So please step out from the base as you might get hurt."

"No problem"

With those words he teleported outside while Kara flew through everything inside and broke it down, leaving nothing in operatable condition while the boys managed to break the statues.

Looking at the destruction underneath her floating body, Kara couldn't believe she had ended up doing this.

'Hopefully he has a way to return it back to normal and it's actually worth it.' Kara thought as she would feel terrible about destroying this home for nothing

Fortunately she seemed to have been teleported before her thought process was even finished and she found herself in a vast field of flowers.

She could see a lake in the distance along with large beautiful pink trees and a simple old Japanese style house above the water.

It was night in this place and she was surrounded by fireflies and shining butterflies.

She wasn't alone as the boys stood behind her and were also mesmerized by the beautiful scenery.

"He has really good taste. I would never think it from his usual choices." Impulse muttered unconsciously but stopped speaking when Kara glared at him

But as they started walking towards the house they heard a singing voice that took away their souls.

It was just so beautiful and enchanting.

With the lyrics finished the group was still standing in place while their mind had been cleared from negativity and was filled with thoughts about love.

Things that they had avoided, things they were afraid to try because of failure.

Kara was affected greatly as she realized that these lyrics resonated deeply with her heart. She wanted Naruto more than a friend. She didn't like anyone around him because that was her place.

'I can't believe I never realized it.'

"You would have realized it soon enough."

Hearing the voice she looked up to see an older Naruto who looked at with gentle and loving expression.

His hand on her face and his gaze made her feel lost.

"No, he is mine."

Kara realized she was about to kiss him when a hand stopped her from moving and saw the other Kara.

The couple wore traditional Japanese clothing and looked to be in their twenties while they were actually above 70.

"Sorry, he just looked so dreamy. What am I saying?!" Kara replied and realized what she was saying

"The truth, you can't lie here. This is my domain. My private grounds when I just want to rest." Naruto replied as he remembered old times looking at them and his past regrets

"How have you been doing?" Kara asked as she looked at his expression

"I am doing great but you are definitely not."

"Yes, we need to know about the past so we can go back and change it."

"Follow me and we will talk over a meal." Naruto turned around and walked towards the house along with his wife

"Who was singing before you arrived?" Kara asked as she was curious about the song

"I was singing it because it is a song that defined your last moments that are saved in my memory." Naruto replied as he looked at them while they sat opposite him

"What do you mean?"

Naruto closed his eyes for a moment before replying calmly, he didn't show any pain or anything, "In the last moments of your death in my arms you kept on talking but never confessed your love. I already loved you by that point and I knew you also loved me. I just didn't think it was the right time to deal with these things and the fact that I loved more than one girl stopped me from acting on my desire while you were afraid of the pain in would cause me.

You didn't want to increase the pain by saying those words. The fear kept your lips sealed. I will recommend smashing my old self with a direct attack more aggressive than Veritas."

Kara felt her heart clench as her mind conjured up the scene and she was glad they could travel into the future or this would be their future.

"Then you won't mind us changing this future." Impulse asked as he was unsure about this Naruto's personality

He was a king now and maybe he wouldn't want that to happen.

"You can't change anything here. This future is here to stay and you will only create another future."

"Why?"

"Because I don't want it to happen. I have lived decades on this path of mine and I am quite happy."

"You don't care about us anymore?" Kara asked as she was confused by his answer

"Haha, why would you think that? I think you are confused so let me explain. I am still the positive Naruto of old but older with more knowledge and experience. I am free unlike my old self with my desires.

But ultimately we are very similar. I have everything I want and the world is at peace. The universe is becoming a happy place with fewer problems with my army and people moving to combat the negativity of the universe.

This universe and my own universe are in my hands now. My dream is no more a dream anymore. It's a reality so why should I want it to disappear.

I promised you that I will bring back Krypton and I have always kept my promises so I am still looking for the way. It is the only thing left other than the occasional enemy that I work on personally.

And my relation with Death. It was kind of broken when I snapped at her for not bringing you guys back.

I had thoughts about killing her and I would have if I could. She could feel it and left from that moment I haven't see her.

I broke her heart that day and she still hasn't forgiven me. So you can see that I really don't have any reason to want my world to change. It's perfect as it is."

Their expectations were definitely subverted as they had kind of expected an older Naruto with a cynical and negative outlook that thought everything needed to be under his foot.

"I guess congratulations for a dream come true." Kara didn't know why but she felt sad

"Smile Kara, I still love you and will welcome you with a smile like always. My heart will always have a place for you. You carved a place with your beautiful smile and personality. I know my Kara will be sad for a time but I will cheer her up so you shouldn't be sad about it and enjoy the journey with your Naruto."

Kara couldn't keep a smile of her face as she felt embarrassed by his words. She never thought Naruto would be so direct in front of everyone even his wife.

"You mean that it is inevitable that our Naruto will end up like you." Impulse looked at the Older Kara and then to Naruto

"Why, you don't like me?"

"I just don't like the idea of an emperor. It just doesn't feel right especially for such a vast empire. It's asking for trouble. Even if I am supposed to ignore the fact that you could get mind controlled, what happens when you are gone? This empire will fall like the rest and death toll would be enormous."

"I don't think you have an idea where I have arrived so obviously you would have such a question but that question will be answered in your own world so I will leave it as a mystery. And as for the empire falling, you see that can never happen because each fall had a reason while those things can no exist in my empire.

I am their immortal emperor and they would die for me if I want. That's how much they revere me. You have not seen a leader that works like me Impulse. Tell me, would you fight Naruto if someone asked you and told you he was evil?

Of course not because you trust him to always act right. So you can relax, this world is headed straight towards a beautiful ending. I have people handling things on all levels so that people are happy. It is quite rare to find any one resisting this life style since what I have given them as a system of happiness where everyone supports each other.

Even these rare cases happen because of some insane immortal beings that just want to mess with me and we end up fighting because of it."

"Corruption, what if your people are taking advantage of their position?" Jaime asked as he remembered it was a common problem everywhere

"I would throw my children into jail if they dared to break a rule so what do you think will happen to subordinates."

Those words were definitely not a joke and the eyes were extremely cold.

Jaime looked down as he couldn't endure those eyes.

'My God that was scary.'

"You killed." Impulse muttered shocking Kara and Jaime

"It's something you will learn with time. Some people just need to die and have no place in this world. Truly their existence disgusted me and I am glad I can just erase them with a thought instead of standing in their presence."

Impulse held Kara's hand asking her not to continue this topic, they really shouldn't ask more or it might affect their mind about their own Naruto.

The older Naruto was similar but clearly opposite in some ways. Their Naruto would never call someone disgusting and not worth his presence.

"Darling, you are scaring the children. Just tell them about the event and let them go back before they are scarred by your words."

"Aw, you can be so cruel. I was just about to tell them of some good stories so they might wake up and enjoy freedom."

"Let them explore that on their own."

"Guess we will keep it short. First the person killing the heroes is Eradicator, a killing machine of Krypton.

Cyborg Superman is still alive on a planet in the nearby solar system.

Crucifier is in China with Enchantress and Dr. Fate is fighting against Klarion and some of other monster in the dark dimension.

The heroes and villains have turned into vampires and really there is no cure to vampirism. You will need someone who can rewrite reality to undo the affect.

You can find the vampires easily, have Naruto share his chakra with everyone in Beijing and the ones that don't have chakra will become apparent as Crucifier is surrounded by his subordinates.

Don't stop training or you will wish that you hadn't changed your future because the event that takes place after it is worse than this small crisis.

I was training like insanity had taken over and broke limits like they were made of paper and did anything to gain power but I doubt your Naruto would want to follow my path since his experience will be different now. Good enough."

"There is no cure. Do we really have to kill our friends?" Impulse asked as Robin was taken and Tim had been his friend

"Banish them to the dark lands that's where they belong but make sure to take care of the Noblesse or he will kill them. At the climax of the event, three armies fought, Crucifier and his vampires, the amazons and the Noblesse, and the humans along with the heroes. It was a devastating battle that caused massive destruction across the planet and ended with every vampire dead. The Noblesse is the origin of all vampires and Crucifier is his direct servant."

"Is there anything else we need to remember?" Kara asked as she noted down everything carefully inside her mind while the scarab recorded the words

"With your sweet little mouth tell him that some time's it good to be selfish and listen to your heart. Some things are just simple, why make them complex. Tell him this when you kiss him and he will understand, most likely. Just so you know, I already love you, Raven and Veritas at this point of time so you it depends on how you approach this topic. I want you to be happy but you chose someone like me so you will have to accommodate such a thing."

"But you only have one."

"You only see one but I have four wives. The other three aren't here at the moment so you couldn't meet them but you already know one of them."

"Donna" Impulse muttered

"Yes, we kind of bonded after the crisis."

"Why is everything difficult with you?" Kara asked as her head hurt

"I trust your abilities so I think you get through this but make sure that Raven ends with him or it will be bad end for you because she lost control when I was almost killed and died for me.

Her heart weakening at this moment is not a good idea. She needs support not a heart break so even if you don't want others girls joining, you need to at least get Raven there."

"Are you actually saying this to me?"

"You are a good girl so I know you can do it."

"Ughhhhh"

"What about this dangerous event you said was worse than what we are facing now?" Impulse asked as the talk seems to come to an end

"I can't tell you about it or you will end up dying when it comes. Knowledge about it only gets you targeted so it is better not to know anything specific. Just remember that you will need everyone to work together and I mean the world as a whole. This isn't something a small team can handle and it will affect the whole universe. But don't lose hope and train hard as you will also meet new friends that will join this fight."

"Is Wally alive?"

"He is living as a rich old man surrounded by his grandkids, do you want to see him or do you want to meet the new Flash?"

Impulse had a desire to meet Wally and ask him how life has been but held back as he didn't need to know.

"No need, I will just talk with the Wally of the past."

"Your choice, now I won't hold you back. Go and wreck the plans of the enemies." Naruto grinned and as they stood outside, they saw the time machine

"Why did you never go back in time?"

"I only found it after having lived for 20 years in this world. By then I saw no point in it and to me it is just a weakness. I will fix things in the current time and show the people that you don't need to go back in time to fix things. Obviously you can't forget the mess I would cause by actually appearing in the past, my very existence can never be welcomed in the world you live in. It will just start off a new war and I won't get the chance to change anything. There are really many reasons why going back is bad for me but those reasons don't actually matter because in the end, I don't go back because I only live in the present."

Impulse couldn't help but nod to those words as Wally had also told him something similar as even one change could lead to a worse future. Barry had saved his mother in the past and it led to a future where there was no Flash in the world.

"Thank you for your help and I hope you get your wish fulfilled soon." Kara said as she hugged him and Naruto just smiled as he held back from keeping her here

There were times he had considered kidnapping Kara from the past but held back as in the end, it wasn't the right thing.

Seeing Kara again was a great temptation but there some desires he couldn't follow because of his principals.

With his power it would be so easy to just change her memories so that she would think this was her world.

"No problem and remember that When we love, we always strive to become better than we are. When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too."

"I will remember it."

"It is good to love many things, for therein lies the true strength, and whosoever loves much performs much, and can accomplish much, and what is done in love is well done." Naruto muttered as the trio walked through the portal and he stood there in silence as memories of old times surfaced

"Dear, you forgot to tell them about the virus."

"Ah, it just slipped my mind."

"You were staring too hard."

"What can I say? I am a crazy lover and holding back was a real challenge."

"Are you not worried about him dying?"

"Dying, I handled it without much help so he should get through it without much problem." Naruto smiled as he held her hand and kissed it

"I am not letting you go today. You really tested the limit of my pressure here."

"Ooh I am so scared, the big bad wolf is going to eat me." Naruto ran towards the inside playfully while Kara followed him

In this world of beauty they were the only ones present until the children or the other wives came back.

Getting back to their world, they realized it had been few minutes from their departure. With the information in their hands, Kara flew towards Naruto while Impulse and Jaime went towards the League.

The matter was urgent and they didn't want war to take place.

"Naruto" Kara saw him sitting on top of the moon watching the planet below and smashed into him

"One of these days I am going to die from this abuse."

"Shut up and listen"

"Ah, okay" Naruto was surprised at her words and saw her excited state, it was just weird at this moment

Kara calmed her nerves and kissed him.

Naruto never expected it and his eyes went wide, he didn't know whether to push back or not as his heart desired it.

The kiss felt like a life time but truly it was a short mash of lips with no skill involved from both individuals.

"Do you understand?"

Seeing Kara sitting on top of his body, Naruto stared at her pink lips, "I understand…"

"Stop, listen. Some time's it good to be selfish and listen to your heart. Some things are just simple, why make them complex.

It is good to love many things, for therein lies the true strength, and whosoever loves much performs much, and can accomplish much, and what is done in love is well done." Kara blocked his mouth with her hand as she felt he was going to spout some bullshit she didn't want to hear now

"Do you understand what you are saying? You are acting weird, did Raven tell you something?"

"I understand what I am saying and I know that you love me, you love Raven and you love Veritas. I am okay with it. Just go with it as it is better to see you happy and content then seeing you run away from reality. I trust you. I believe that you can make us all happy so stop acting like a coward.

Accept that there are weird girls that can fall in love with your goofy self."

"You are not going to give me time to think about it."

"I think leaving someone like you alone with his mind is never a good thing so no. Here and now, decide. Remember that Raven also loves you and saying no will cause her mind to weaken."

"Are you threatening me?"

"I am just reminding you of the stakes so you won't think it is pure selfishness."

"What if I only choose Raven?"

"Yes, he was happy and with his dream come true but his past was sad. The result of this event was death and destruction but luckily he passed us the information needed so we can handle it now." Kara talked about their meeting with him but left his acknowledgement of killing people

"We can do that?" Naruto had never thought of spreading his chakra into pieces

'I don't know but if it's your future self then he obviously knows about it.'

"Is there really no cure?"

"No, he said we can only banish them or find a reality warper to help us."

"You know I have been thinking and hearing your words made it click. We will stop the process and come to a compromise by creating a way for them to feed without killing humans."

Hearing those words she would usually feel annoyed but it just felt right because this was her Naruto, someone that will always find the right way to do things even in the darkest of times.

She didn't know what part that future played in the genocide but Kara didn't like genocide and Naruto in the same sentence in that manner.

"You are not going to say I am crazy."

"No, I think your choice is logical because these vampires are the people of earth and we sending them away is punishing them for a sing they had no control over."

"I am happy that you can see that but let's quickly inform them before we start acting."

"One more kiss first"

"Glad you asked" Naruto didn't hold back this time as he held her head and kissed like his life depended on it

He felt so happy and fulfilled at this moment.

Fighting alone can take a toll on the mind and body so Kara's presence and words gave him the push to follow his ideal desire.

Before this he had never imagined dreaming of such things but these girls were too important to him.

It would have been so easy to give up if they had never loved him but knowing they did, hurt him to think of saying no when he also loved them back.

Love never dies a natural death. It dies because we don't know how to replenish its source. It dies of blindness and errors and betrayals. It dies of illness and wounds; it dies of weariness, of withering, of tarnishing.
