Chapter 8
Alright, I'm back!
This time I'm gonna get on time to post.
Now let's get on with the stories.
Don't own adventure time or any of the characters.
Now skipping to lady & peebles.
Where pheeb and PB and lady working together to save Finn and Jake.
It's been months since the hug-wolf incident Finn and Jake have not spoken to PB for a while since she attacked Phoebe and trapped her in that lamp.
After the hug-wolf incident, LSP has spread the news about Finn's relationship with the flame princess and every princess of ooo was jealous and angry.
Finn heard the news and blushed like a tomato and smiled. He liked the idea of Phoebe being his girlfriend and he wanted to be her boyfriend, of course, Finn didn't know how to approach this or what to say, but right now he told Phoebe he and Jake had to go face the ice king and understand.
Time skipped.
It has been three weeks since Finn and Jake left to face off the ice king and Phoebe was worried sick about them and the coal supplies were running low for her to eat.
"Oh no, running out of coal and Finn and are still missing"Phoebe talks to herself. Phoebe ran to Finn armory and See Finn sword collections"ok, what sword should I pick?"Phoebe asked herself and see a sword with Marking on the blade"huh, what's this?"Phoebe took the sword off the wall and the blade part burst into flame, Phoebe dropped the sword in shock" whoa, I didn't know Finn got that"Phoebe said as she picked up the sword again.
Phoebe looked at the sword with amazement"awesome, well better go look for Finn" Phoebe said as she walked out of the door and shut it behind her, and flew to the ice kingdom.
Phoebe flew up high and scouting the landscape, as she flew up she started to feel the cold air"geez, this is what the cold feels like"Phoebe spoke to herself and spotted a familiar pink princess" oh, it's bubblegum"Phoebe said deadpanned and see her going into a big tent, but her only concern was Finn.
Phoebe flew a little and put her arms up and let out a big heat sense. She could feel three heat signatures in a black ice cave.
"Hmmm, the ice king must be holding Finn and Jake hostage there" Phoebe flew to the black ice cave.
Phoebe at the mouth of the cave"ok, in I go and no turning back" Phoebe flew inside the black ice cave.
Phoebe flew into a chamber seeing black ice spikes all around her. She flew in further seeing a sphincter closing and opening repeatedly.
"That's a weird-looking door," Phoebe said, as she flew in as it opened and flew fast, entering a chamber and seeing some weird Looking columns in the sideways and flew past them.
Phoebe continued to fly forward until she heard a sizzling noise. Phoebe turned around and saw multiple hands try to grab her, but thanks to her flame the hands were unable to touch her; all it left were cooked hands. Phoebe chuckles at this and continues to fly forward. Phoebe stopped and used her heat scent to see where Finn and Jake are at. Phoebe could still see them but then scent two more behind her.
Phoebe quickly turned her head back and saw princess bubblegum and lady rainicorn. The two were shocked to see her here"flame princess!?"PB exclaimed, "What are you doing here?"PB asked FP.
Phoebe narrows her eyes at PB"I'm looking for Finn and Jake" Phoebe replied"but what are you doing here? Bubblegum?"Phoebe now asked PB.
PB can tell she is still angry at her but spoke"I'm looking for Finn and Jake too."PB replied"I track them here in this ice cave, I'm pretty sure the ice king is holding them, hostage, "PB said as Phoebe tilted her head in confusement.
"What do you mean? You track them here? And how did you know they were here?"Phoebe interrogates her.
PB grew nervous"well….. I implanted a tracking chip behind Finn's ear, just in case he ever went missing" PB said with a slightly nervous tone.
Phoebe made a frown at the PB but then saw more of those hands and turned away from her and spoke"oh, watch out for those hands behind you" Phoebe said, making PB look confused.
PB looked behind her and freaked out" ah!"PB screams as she aims her ball blam burgler ber and shouted out"Ball-blam-burgler-bler-ber!" she fires her weapon, shooting out a green glowing ball, as it hit the wall blowing away some grabby hands.
Phoebe sees the hands blocking her field of vision and taking her weapon away and her bags on her back. Phoebe sigh then decided to help them, she turned around where Finn and Jake are, then she put her hands up and blew a hole in the fleshy wall.
PB and lady look at the explosives, seeing Phoebe making a pathway and looking back at them.
"Well, are you coming or not?"Phoebe said, flying into the next room. PB and Lady looked at each other and nodded as they followed Phoebe.
Phoebe looks around and sees pipes and some sort of green nasty liquid on the flesh floor, Phoebe looks back and sees PB and Lady behind her.
Phoebe was about to say something until she heard the ice king's voice.
"This is total bunk, your copier! the three look up and see a vent where the ice king voice is coming from." you're only in love with her because I'm in love with her!" the ice king shouted.
"Ice King" lady said as the ice king continued the shout.
"I've been playing this game a lot longer than you pal! I've been working my moves smooth-talking her, showing her magic tricks! Don't ignore me! Come back!" the ice king shouted.
PB looked at her tracker on her wrists" I'm picking up three heart signatures. Ice king must be talking to Finn and Jake."PB said as the three flew into the vent.
Phoebe, PB, and Lady see the vent are big enough to fly through.
The three see two pathways.
"Go to the right, lady"PB told lady as Phoebe heard growling noises in the left.
PB gasp as a giant tongue appeared and tried to squash them but avoided it and went to the right. As they went to the right, the vent started to get smaller.
Lady spoke, "you're making me sweat."Lady told PB. Phoebe didn't understand what she said.
Phoebe was ahead of them and She saw a way out. Phoebe flew out of the vent and guess what? More fleshy walls and floor. Phoebe began to feel sick of this place.
"This place is beginning to make me sick," Phoebe said as PB and Lady flew into the chamber, as she saw a door in the middle of the chamber"look there a door"Phoebe pointed.
The three flew closer to the door, but it shut on them. Seeing eyeballs opening. Phoebe began to feel gross-out, seeing so many eyeballs on the wall.
"Ew," PB and the lady said at the same time, but the eyeball began to glow pink as they're shooting pink lasers at them, Phoebe and Lady Manage to dodge them, but lady got hit in the face and PB and Lady fell on the ground.
Phoebe still dodged them but got hit in the back, "huh?"Phoebe looks at her back and nothing, it seems the laser doesn't affect her. Phoebe looks at the wall of eyes and they close and the door opens again."hmm, look like the laser eyes give up"Phoebe thought and looked back at PB and Lady.
"Lady!"PB looks at Lady"Lady, are you okay?"PB asked in a concerned tone.
"Eh, yeah. Don't worry about me. I'm perfectly, perfectly fine"Lady tried to get up"let's go. Get up! Guh" but fell back down"I don't think I will make it anyway. You two should just go alone, I'll just be a burden for you two."Lady told them to leave her behind, but Phoebe does not understand what she's saying at all.
PB shook her head"No, Lady, I won't leave you while you're hurt. Come on" PB began to lift Lady and put her on her shoulder and look at Phoebe"let's go, "PB said, as they went through the door.
PB and Phoebe walk through a dark room while Lady unconscious, but thanks to Phoebe flame they could see a little. PB and Phoebe look at the tracker.
"What are you playing at, ice king?"PB still looking at the trackers seeing three yellow blips"three heart signatures. Getting closer."PB said as she stepped on something. Phoebe and PB look down and see the ice king on the ground with his chest opened.
Ice looked back at them"hey" the ice king said. Making the two princess scream and PB dropping her tracker, but then heard another voice.
"Princess" the two princesses look up and see a red talking heart in the shadow"what a pleasant surprise," he said.
"Ricardo!"PB exclaimed in anger.
"Yes, it is I. Did you find my dungeon stimulating?"Ricardo asked PB, but Phoebe spoke up.
"Your dungeon is disgusting! It's all fleshed and eyes for glob sake! And it smells too"Phoebe covering her nose.
Ricardo frowned at Phoebe's answer" I didn't ask for your appreciation!"Ricardo said angrily at Phoebe but looked back at PB.
PB growl"Where are Finn and Jake?!"PB asked.
"What do you see in those two?"Ricardo threw Finn and Jake"A boy? And a dog? You deserve more mature companionship."Ricardo said in the dark.
PB and Phoebe gasp"poisoned with zanoits!"PB said, making Phoebe confused and worried.
Phoebe was about to speak but Ricardo interrupted.
You see, I thought I only wanted your heart. But I was wrong. I was unfair to you. I want…the full package." said princesses making the two princesses look at Ricardo with disgusted looks.
Ricardo stood up a little higher than them"princess…"
"What?"PB just said.
"I'm a man now."Ricardo comes out of the shadow with muscular arms and legs attached to his heart and sees a happy paper face on top of his heart.
PB screams at the sight of his arm and leg, but Phoebe wants to vomit.
"Oh glob, that is the most disturbing thing I ever have seen, "Phoebe said covering her mouth.
I made myself this body for you, princess, synthesized from ice King's living tissue, his bone broken and reassembled" explaining how he made the body.
"But where is the rest of the body? You only got the arms and the legs, where the rest of it?"Phoebe asked Ricardo but the ice king interrupted.
"It hurt! Ooh, boy! How about a hug? Give me a hug! I need it!"The ice king wanted a hug but then Ricardo stepped on him.
"Silence, Simon!"Ricardo shouted at the ice king as Ricardo walked towards the princess bubblegum but then Phoebe stepped in the way with the flame sword in her hand.
"Stay away from them!"Phoebe threatened Ricardo as her sword was pointed at him.
"Hahaha!"Ricardo laughed"get out of my way, flame girl, you are no match for my superior intellect," Ricardo said to Phoebe.
Phoebe just gave him a deadpanned look"*thinking* really? He doesn't know that I can throw fireballs or grow twice my size. His ego has gone to his…." but a sudden realization"...I was going to say head, but I just realized he doesn't have ahead. He's just a weird-looking heart with a face" Phoebe said in her head.
PB examines Ricardo's arms and sees there was a flaw in his creation. PB gently put Lady down and took off her coat and ran past Phoebe. Phoebe dropped her guard and was shocked to see PB punching Ricardo's chin. He grunts in pain as he tries to punch her back with his right arm but she dodges it and grabs his arm and planted her feet on his face as PB as she pulled it and tore it off his little heart. Phoebe was surprised as she saw the princess bubblegum holding her own. Then Ricardo swipes his left to attempt to hit PB but she ducks down and she slips behind him and she grabs his left leg and pulls him to the ground and lays on his back.
PB stomp her foot onto his face and spoke" you think we're intellectual equals? It only took me seconds to get you off your guard!" PB shouted.
Phoebe just stares at PB with a serious look" is she serious? I'm the one who was distracting him" Phoebe thought in her head with a frown look and put her sword strap to her back and listen to PB talk.
PB twisted Ricardo's face"...And this" Body" you designed is self-congratulatory garbage! See, I know a thing or two about building a body out of biomass, and you don't leave your heart exposed!" PB said as she tears out Ricardo's left leg and holds it high.
"I just wanted to impress you," Ricardo said while his voice was muffled by PB boots in his faces.
"You didn't" PB shouted as she slammed his leg to his face leaving a black eye and bruise. "Get out of my sight," PB said with a hate tone.
Ricardo whimpers as he crawls into the darkness with remaining one leg and one arm with defeat.
PB panted as she looked back at Finn and Jake, ice king and Phoebe next to Finn.
Phoebe looked at PB with worry as her hands were covered in tin foil as she was trying to wake up Finn. PB ran to their side and looked at her champion as he and Jake were breathing slowly. PB looked at Phoebe with a serious look.
"We need to get them to the candy kingdom, they need medical attention," PB said as she grabbed Finn and Jake and set them on lady back.
Phoebe watched this and agreed to help. She follows her out of the black ice cave.
The scene cut to three days and fifteen minutes later in the candy kingdom infirmary. Phoebe is sitting next to Finn as she has a bag under her eyes. Phoebe doesn't sleep much as she was worried for Finn and will not sleep till Finn was okay.
Moments later Finn slowly opens his eyes and sees Phoebe looking down on him.
" Phoebe? Princess?" Finn stood and fully awake." Princess! Ricardo is back! He's in the black ice cave, and he's peacocking hardcore!" Finn exclaimed.
" I know. And he poisoned you both with Zanoits. But I took care of it." PB said.
" What happened? How did we get here?" Finn asked as he looked at Phoebe" Pheeb are you ok" Finn asked Phoebe. She nodded her head as she let out a yawn.
" she hasn't slept for days. She wouldn't sleep till you were alright. And I dragged you here on lady's back." she went to check on Jake" it took two days. And another day to make you guys an antidote. And fifteen minutes to build the ice king a new heart" she walks to ice king and showing the hole in his chest and showing a new heart" I made it out of Ricardo's sinews, and some toffee and maracas" PB said as ice king laugh as he began to shake the maracas inside his body.
" Coochie-coochie-coochie!" ice king exclaimed.
"I'm glad you guys are up. please make the ice king leave." PB said as the ice king continued to laugh and shake his body. " Ice king, please leave!" PB shouted as she walked towards Lady.
Moments later Phoebe just sat on one of the beds in the infirmary as she was too tired to move as she watched Finn and Jake trying to get the ice king to leave, but then she saw Lady getting up and called out to Jake as he turned around.
" Lady! Oh, Lady!" Jake shouted happily.
Lady spoke to Jake with a worried look as she began to tear up and Jake tilted his head in confusion. Lady spoke again but shocking Jake" I am pregnant!" lady exclaimed.
" I'm puppies!?" Jake just said as he was shocked. But Finn and Phoebe both look confused.
Finn spoke up" what pregnant?" Finn asked.
" Yeah, what is that?" Phoebe wanted to know too, but she could feel her eyes getting heavy.
Jake didn't say anything as he was still shocked to listen as he was still taking the news that he was becoming a dad.
PB just stood there as these two didn't know about the bird and the bee, but she noticed Phoebe's eyes closing.
"I'll tell you later, but you need to get Flame princess home, okay," PB told Finn as she walked up to Jake and snapped her finger in front of him, but did not respond" guess you have to head home without Jake cause…..' PB waved her hand in front of Jake's face but still did not respond"...he may be in shock for a while," PB said to Finn as he nodded.
Finn looked back at the tired Phoebe." come on Pheeb, let head home" Finn said, and Phoebe nodded. The two walked out of the infirmary and left PB, Lady, and Jake in the infirmary.
Finn and Phoebe walk out of the candy kingdom and head to the grassland. The two stay silent halfway through the trip, but Phoebe decides to break the silence.
"So…" Finn looked at Phoebe with a concerned look"...how did Ricardo catch you?" Phoebe asked.
Finn was taken back at this. He thought she was going to talk about their relationship." oh, well, me and Jake enter the black ice cave. As we went further in Ricardo got the jump on us and everything went dark and woke up in the candy kingdom infirmary." Finn told his story to Phoebe as she gave him a smile as Finn smiled back at her.
The two continue to walk back to the treehouse. Finn noticed Phoebe was slowing down and fell to the ground. Finn ran to Phoebe's side and saw that she was asleep.
Finn sighs in relief that Phoebe was just asleep. Finn reached inside his backpack and pulled out a rolled tin-foil and wrapped his arms, as he finished wrapping his arms, he started to carry Phoebe in bridal style back to the treehouse.
The scene cut to the treehouse in the Finn bedroom. Finn sets Phoebe on his bed and closes the curtain blocking the sun, as he wraps Phoebe in her tin-foil sleeping bag, Finn smiles at the sleeping princess. Finn kisses her ruby gem forehead.
" Sleep well," Finn said quietly as he walked to the living room.
As Finn walks out of the room, Phoebe smiles in her sleep.
The screen faded to dark.
Sorry for the delay in getting used to the new PC. I got no hate or angry comments.
