Flashback ~ Decades ago...
In an unknown domain...
Crossing along the deep dry trench, a child pierced out from the shadows, lifting herself up to touch the edge of that ground. Getting up, she whirled to the figure behind her, whom followed on, appearing up at the same levelling pavement as the girl. The two rode fast, flinging their steps along the way to a near pipeline. Their feet hurled forwarder and forwarder. Each step crossed on, they have finally extended to their point on a wall. What the duo perceived presented in front of them is a pipeline in the size seeming to give them a fitting place in through. The two exchanged glances, prior to registering, once turning their eyes, the imaged perception of androids alighting around them.
"Get inside. Now!", the man ordered to the child, whom complied.
She popped inside the pipeline, bending her legs by her knees. She dragged herself, crawling on route towards the pipeline.
Whilst the little girl continued front crawling, the man wielded a weapon, bolting back a few androids back. He whirled at one side, rupturing the android's point in chest that trips them into dying. He shot another few blazes at three more androids, though the numbers grew exponentially. The male swirled his focus at the pipeline. He pulls together his legs and arms in working condition, hauling his body, immediately fitting in entering the pipeline. He crawled through, with legs progressing its path to the end. Each spot crossing on, the male has reached the end.
As the man came out, he is suddenly met with a outburst cry and hug from the girl. The male being wrapped his arm around her, giving her comfort. "Don't cry", the man fatherly advised. Their hugging moment extended longer. Seconds stretching out of length.
"I thought you were going to sacrifice yourself", the girl expressed her assumption.
The male forcefully parted the girl from her grasp. He lowered himself in on his knees, placing a soft warm hand on the female kid's shoulder. "Your my main priority", he said. "So whenever I request you to leave, you leave at once". He gave one small little shake in a vertical line. "Do you understand?".
The girl nodded to her father. "Yes dad", she retorted.
After the father had noted his child's response, he whirled his sharper sight, catching the image of a building at the hill not very far from the man's point. He then had his hand reach on, intertwining with his daughter's hand. The two's hand merged into a ball. "Let's go", he said. The father began pulling the girl with him, sending the both of them to dad's next aim.
Running off, gazing their route along the dusty high, tattered footpath. Their carried their legs forward, rushing to the other end. Their breathing levels thrusted high in an increasing rate. They ran and ran, printing their steps, hauled to it. After crossing over a few stuffed stones on a long footpath, the two spin to the large view of the greatest threat they had, out of all their time, encountered: constructions and erections tearing itself in millions of pieces. The two gazed, the intense feeling of fear and shock drawing on their faces, and in their hearts. In addition, they perceived a blue ray enclosed in highlighting the remaining piles, at once destroying them.
The little girl treaded backwards. Her breathing feeling the need to stop. Her eyes triggered on making eye-reach with her father, with the latter pulling her hand, taking her on course. The two headed to the door that was their opposite of the direction they discerned at the widening viewpoint of chaos. They entered through the automatic entranceway, of which the it recognised these two people's identities. The father and the daughter advances their route along the path-line, ramming their legs forwarder, forwarder and forwarder. They reached the middle point of the corridor, having touched midway. They continued to run on, appointing their shift to the one area. As their legs lunged on and on, their breaths began to lose the amount. Nevertheless, by the man's choice: they kept running. During their pace, they could hear an air rupturing itself apart. They carried on moving, ringing their ride. Faster and faster, they finally outstretched to the end.
The girl bended her upper body down slightly, trying to grasp some air.
Her father went over the panel, that's beside the large bay door. He tapped on the buttons, activating a cause on the door's function to completely shut itself, which it productively did.
"Dad where are we?", the girl asked, unfurling her eyes at every side she can see within the large area.
The male emerged to pick in the same point next to his daughter. "The only place none of our people have known for generations since the House of El's existence was debuted. Our one chance at ensuring you and your cousin's safety is proceeded", said the father.
"Me and my cousin's safety?", she exclaimed, pondering on whether her dad was referring to the two of them or the whole family. She couldn't speak any more, plunged off in feeling the touch of her father placing his hand on her shoulder.
"We shall proceed now effective immediately. This gate won't prolong our safety for long-". The male is cut off when he heard the bay door instantly sprouting the increasing sound levels of banging. His hand instantly plummets to attaching his daughter's hand. "We need to move. Now!". Afterwards, they ran off, coursing on another corridor. Running a cross on the door, the door behind them instantly closed down.
Exactly after a second of that, the large baying door exploded. Machined figures emerged from the appearing smoke, holding weapons and readying their metal ropes for entanglement on the victims they are told to slaughter or brutally apprehend. They drew directions, scattering on every end of the large room. Their red beams, closing a light on the spot of faces they lock in. So far, no sentient being is captured from their scanners.
