Notes: You know the drill. Slowly updating. Tired from life and obvious reasons. Also enjoy Erika being...Well Erika and the ending I had to do. Btw not sure if they can float on water but that ball in the end is a dodgeball.

It was a nice summer day out and with it being Sunday we had no school or classes. There haven't even been any attacks from any of the villains. To be honest, Koji, Natsu, and I were pleasantly surprised. But since this peace wouldn't last forever we couldn't let it go to waste. However, I'm still not very pleased at what Koji suggested…

"Well, here we are," Koji said as he covered his eyes from the sun.

We all stepped off the bus soon behind him with most of the others squealing or glancing around the beach. I know for a fact that I didn't have on a pleased face but no one seemed to take notice of it. With a silent approval, we all started to make our way down the beach to find an empty area for us to set our stuff at.

That was the plan originally. But even on our fifteen minute walk down the shore we couldn't find any open spaces at all. We were about to give up and just spend our time at the food hut when someone's familiar loud voice and waving got our attention.

The blue haired girl zoomed up to us almost immediately. "Yo! I didn't know you guys were going to be here. You looking for a place to stay?" Erika cocked her head as she asked that question. Despite all her devious plans and her do it without anyone's approval attitude, she looked almost innocent for a minute there. Emphasis on almost.

Before any of us could stop her and her optimism, Nozomi excused herself in front of us to meet with Erika and smiled back at the girl. "In fact we are Kurumi! We just got to the beach so we didn't expect this many people here already. Can you help us out?"

"No prob at all! I'm sure Tsusu, Itsuki, and Yuri would be okay with you guys hanging out! Follow me!" With another wave of her arm Erika ushered us behind her.

I could feel that this would not end well.

After a few hellos between us and the other Heartcatch girls, along with Yuri just flat out glaring at Erika and not bothering to hide it, we set our stuff down and got ready at the closest changing rooms. At this point all of us learned not to question Yuri when she's angry. Either way it only took us the matter of minutes before all of us came back out in our proper swimming attire.

My eyes furrowed as I looked at the sea. You don't know how scary that thing is. I dipped my toe in the water. That cold, icky liquid made me jump about ten feet in the air, then run back to the changing rooms. Nozomi and Rin just looked at me like I was weird after that.

From the shock of the water, I was curled up in a corner of the changing stall. There was a shuffle of feet from me. I didn't have enough time as Rin grabbed the collar of my swimsuit. She was pulling me out as I screamed, kicked, yelled, whatever. I even tried to punch her once to let me go. She just blocked it and kept on pulling.

"What is wrong with you Kurumi? You're just acting like a scaredy-cat. The water isn't that bad."

I looked away from Rin's gaze as I admitted, "I don't know how to swim."

"You don't? Well, I kind of expect that from someone who came from the Palmier Kingdom." Her free hand went to stroke her chin, like she was deep in thought. "That's why one of your bucket list things was to learn how to swim…"

"All right!" Rin scared me as she yelled that. She punched her fist up as we reached the edge of the pool. "I'll teach you how to swim! It's decided!"

Nozomi chuckled. "Rin, that's my catchphrase," the magenta haired girl joked. Rin stuck her tongue out at Nozomi as a reply.

"It's not that hard. You just need to learn to paddle yourself." Rin demonstrated for a bit. Then got back up and looked at me. "You have to get into the water first though…"

It took a few tries of me dipping my toes into the water, literally, and shivering every time. But it took a certain 'Blue Spring of Intelligence' to whistle and push me into the water to get used to it quicker. I came back up for water and glared at her as she said in the fakest voice I ever heard from Karen," Oh I'm sorry Kurumi. I didn't see you there."

This was Karen we're talking about. She did it to help me get used to the water and not chicken out.

It was almost like it was instinct. I was able to learn how to paddle and made my way out to Rin. The redhead smiled as she watched.

"See! What did I tell you! It's easy isn't it?" I needed and smiled as a reply. "But that's a really basic and ineffective way to swim. Here, I'll hold your hands and guide you. Just keep kicking your feet."

We took about half an hour for Rin to properly teach me how to swim and I would like to say, I actually wasn't that shabby. No that isn't me being full of myself. That's being truthful.

Before we could do anything else though I was splashed with a handful of water and screamed as I went underneath for a bit as I couldn't see where I was going. Once I returned above, I saw the blue devil herself chuckling as she came over.

"I'm sorry Kurumi," Erika said as she continued laughing. "I had to. You were too vulnerable."

As I glared at the blue head that I still owed revenge on for the various other times she pranked not only me but the rest of the Cures, I spotted a ball. It didn't seem like one of those normal blow up balls but more solid if that makes sense. Not sure what it was but it'll do.

I jumped up and got ready to spike the ball in Erika's face as all of our group and the Heartcatch group tried to stop me with a, "Kurumi no!"
