Author's Note: After I finished the GMW series, I wasn't planning on continuing this…BUT I've decided to continue it. So, I will be doing deleted scenes from Season 8 and then I'll do some for their teenage years since it wasn't in the Season.

So this one will be a deleted scene from Season 8 Episode/Chapter 4 "Sinking in Part II".

Auggie's POV

Mom's phone started to ring. She was in Riley's old room, so I answered it.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Auggie?" Maya's mom asked. She sounded like she was crying. "Where's your mom?"

"In Riley's old room," I told her. "Are you okay?"

"No," she said, "I need to talk to your mom."

"Okay, here she is," I lied.

"Topanga, Aaron's cancer has taken a turn for the worst," Maya's mom said. "He only has a few days, at most." I couldn't believe what she was saying, "Farkle just called Maya, and we're headed over to the hospital now."

"Aaron's gonna die?" I asked, crying.

"Auggie!" She said. "You were supposed to give the phone to your—"

I hung up on her.

"Mom!" I screamed. I ran to Riley's old room, she caught me, halfway down the hall.

"Auggie!" She said, worriedly. "What's going on?!"

"Aaron's gonna die!" I said, crying into her.

"Auggie, you don't know that," she said.

"Yes I do!" I yelled. "Maya's mom called, and I pretended to give the phone to you. I heard everything! He only has a few days!"

"Do you want to see him?"

I nodded.

"Can Ava go with us?" I asked.

"Yeah," she said.

We rode in the car, Ava laying her head on my shoulder the whole way to the hospital.

Ava's POV

We walked into the ER waiting room, along with Auggie's dad. I saw Maya (holding Christian), Josh, Shawn, and Mrs. Hunter all sitting down. So were Farkle's parents. Then I saw Farkle. His eyes looked dead. You could tell he'd been crying and had bags under his eyes.

"Where's KC?" I asked.

"With Aaron," Mrs. Hunter answered.

"How is he?" Auggie asked.

"Well, you heard me on the phone," Mrs. Hunter said. "There's nothing they can do anymore."

"How is she?" Topanga asked.

"She won't leave his side," Farkle said, finally speaking. "She won't even talk to me. She won't let me console her. She just shut me out completely."

I looked over at Auggie. That sounds like how I treated him last school year. I never let him in. We sat down. The doors opened and we saw Riley and Penny walk in.
