Elizabeth came bursting through the room with fear in her eyes, a look Percy had never seen on her face. She marched towards him and grabbed his arm dragging him towards the window in the back of the room. "We need to go this way," she said and opened the back window. Percy had no clue on what was going on. She noted his hesitation, "now, gods damn it!" she shouted and pushed him through.
Percy crashed into the floor outside their room and curled into a ball to lessen the impact, rolling into a standing position. A moment later Elizabeth fell through the window and broke into a sprint not telling Percy anything, but he decided it was wise to follow her.
He heard multiple screams and yelling voice flow through the streets of Hogsmeade behind him. "What's happening?!" Percy shouted over to Elizabeth whilst they ran away from the small town. Her dead straight hair whipped around so that her face was looking directly towards his confused expression. "Run now, explain later!" She called back to him. With frustration Percy shock his head and fastened his pace.
He followed her as she ran through the castles gate, towards the headmasters office. "Dumbledore!" She shouted at the guarding gargoyle. Once the staircase revealed itself, she wasted no time in moving forward and once again like a lost puppy Percy stumbled on with her.
"Professor McGonagall!" She yelled out of breath. The Headmaster of Hogwarts immediately snapped her head around at the incoming intruders. "What is going on?" She asked innocently. That was the same question that had been going through Percy's mind since the moment he was pushed out of the window.
"I need your answer," Elizabeth pleaded desperately. Her eyes were constantly looking around the room as if paranoid someone else was about to come into the room and rupture the conversation. "I have only consoled a few of the teacher all with mixed feelings. No certain answer has been decided yet."
"Well we need an answer, preferably yes, right now," she demanded. The professor looked shocked at the anger held within her voice. Percy had no idea who was hurting the people outside, but the last thing he wanted to do was portal away from them and leave them to fight on their own. He wanted to help, but Elizabeth seemed to have other plans.
The professor looked at her hopeful eyes and with sympathy replied. "Yes, I will agree to fight. Although I am not sure how many other, I can get to follow me, I will be there." The air immediately started to shimmer behind them, a portal opening behind them.
"Thank you," Elizabeth said with relief and grabbed Percy's arm without notice, dragging him into the portal before he could even say goodbye or finally speak to Harry Potter.
Neither of them knew where they were going to end up, but Elizabeth hoped it was far away. Far enough that they could not find her again, at least not for a while.
