A/N: Sorry I haven't updated in such a long time, in all honesty I've lost the passion and interest in updating any of my Naruto stories and one reason is that I don't think they are very successful but that's just me. I've felt a small spark inside to update again but the interest and passion in updating any of my Naruto stories is slowly coming back. Hope you enjoy.
Chapter 8: Impending Danger
*Two month time skip*
-Akatsuki Hideout, Amegakure-
''We're getting closer to our goal.'' Pain said in his usual emotionless voice.
It has been two months since the Akatsuki has begun to hunt the remaining jinchuurikis and so far the organization has had mixed results but mostly success. So far they once again attacked Iwa and managed to acquire the tailed beast from Han as well as Yagura from Kiri who had Isobu as his beast. However, when Akatsuki members Hidan and Kakuzu confronted Killer B who was the junchuuriki of the 8-tails for a second time they encountered Kumo's second jinchuuriki in Yugiito Nii and they only managed to capture the young woman who had the 2-tails but Killer B once again proved too strong for the two plus interference from the 4th Raikage. One of the first they captured was from the efforts of members Sasori and Deidara had managed to capture a young girl named Fu who had the 7-tails in her but she proved to be a skilled opponent. Sasuke and Kisame had launched an assault on Sunagakure and easily captured the jinchuuriki of the 1-tailed beast who was the son of the fourth Kazekage Gaara Sabaku and here were the two now presenting the unconscious boy before Pain and Konan.
''Here Pain-sama, the son of the Kazekage Gaara.'' Sasuke spoke plainly as he sets the boy down.
''This kid was no pushover but we still got him, so here you go.'' Kisame said.
Pain then looks at Tobi who was standing idly nearby and nods and the masked Uchiha male walked over to the unconscious Gaara and uses the kamui to keep the jinchuuriki in the kamui dimension for safe keeping. While Pain just watched the jinchuuriki disappear with no emotions Konan on the inside was saddened as Gaara was just a teen and now he was going to die after they had extracted the tailed beast from his body.
''Anything else you need Pain-sama?'' Sasuke questioned.
Pain shook his head and with that Sasuke and his partner Kisame left the room leaving Tobi and Madara alone with Pain and Konan.
''Tobi, Madara.''
''Yes Pain-sama?'' Tobi asked.
''Please leave me and Konan be for the moment, I have a few things to discuss with her.'' said the orange haired man.
''Understood.'' said Tobi and he used the kamui to teleport him and Madara away.
Now that they had the room to themselves Pain can now tell Konan what he had planned to do next.
''So far we have the Shukaku, Matatabi, Isobu, Son Goku, Kokuou, Saiken and Chomei so the only remaining ones are the Gyuuki and Kyuubi.'' Pain said, ''However from what we've seen getting the Gyuuki has proven Hidan and Kakuzu a really difficult opponent.''
Konan noticed the tone in Pain's voice and she knew he had an idea and she knew she was obligated to ask even though she was terrified of his answer.
''What are you thinking Nagato?'' she questioned.
Pain just simply stared into space and didn't answer Konan so the two were left in silence for the time being.
''From what I've seen of Hidan and Kakuzu's attempts to capture this Killer B I believe it would be our best interest to put a hold on him and put our focus on Naruto and the Kyuubi.''
''How are you going to go about getting the boy? Unlike most jinchuurikis Naruto wasn't shunned by his village and is respected since his father is the 4th Hokage. It wouldn't be surprising if even the villagers come to his defense aside from the shinobi. Getting to him will be difficult.'' Konan interjected. The woman knew that Konoha is the strongest of the great villages and the fact that a Sannin was the current Hokage only meant it would be harder to get Naruto.
''It is quite simple, I will have Sasuke and Kisame move in to capture him first.'' replied Pain.
''And if they fail?''
Again, the two found themselves in silence before Pain gave her an answer.
''Then I will attack the village myself.''
-Unknown location-
In some cave far away from where the great villages were Tobi and Madara were seen with a now dead Gaara laid out on the ground before them. The cave was massive and there appeared to be a massive statue looking over the three that looked very humanoid in appearance. Tobi and Madara just stare at the corpse before Madara finally spoke.
''That's one more down, two more to go.''
''Yes and we are one step closer to executing your plan. All we need now is Gyuuki and Kyuubi.'' Tobi spoke, ''Are you sure you want to try to convince Pain to attack Konoha even if we force Sasuke to attempt to kidnap Naruto?''
''I am very sure Obito, I know Sasuke and Kisame will fail and that is enough to convince Pain to go after him himself and I plan on him being killed in the process and after I kill Konan we will make sure the remaining members follow my lead or they will die.'' Madara said evilly.
''Oh I hope young Sarada encounters him, it should make for an interesting reunion to see.'' Tobi chuckled.
-Konoha Hot Springs-
Since Rin had started advanced training with her students a few months ago the three Genin had made very good progress. For Konohamaru he had mastered several C-ranked fire release techniques as well showing massive improving at using a transformation jutsu to infiltrate enemy strongholds and as of now he was capable of transforming into Naruto, Sarada and even the Hokage herself but him turning into Rin was a bit of a challenge for him. Sarada was getting even better and stronger with the Uchiha exclusive fire release Rin had learned thanks to her sharingan such as the phoenix sage fire, a toned down version of the majestic destroyer flame as well as finally achieving some degree of skill with the chidori stream. Right now Sarada was coming closer to developing a jutsu for lighting the young teen called the lightning blade where she would gather lightning chakra into her hands and form a ball of electricity which she demonstrated on some target logs of piercing a human body.
However, little did she know that a certain someone was keeping a sharp eye on her training at the request of Tsunade and this person did a very good job at concealing himself that even an experienced Jonin like Rin wouldn't be able to detect him. Who was this person? She was going to find out very soon...
She was on her way toward the hot springs after the conclusion of another week of training she walks into the building where the springs were and goes into the locker room she begins taking her clothes off leaving herself completely nude before taking a towel and wraps it around her body. She then walks over to the sliding doors that led to the female side of the hot springs and slowly she made her way to the water. The feeling of the warm steam was enough to make her feel at ease. she takes her foot and places it in the water but just barely so that her toe touches the surface and finding the temperature of the water to her satisfaction she steadily steps in and sit down until she was neck deep in the springs. The feeling of the spring water surrounding her body helped her feel even more relaxed and she felt the stress of the shinobi life leave her body.
She sat there and relaxed before she began to drift and get lost in her thoughts and many things were going through her mind.
''Naruto is making great progress, even his first day of training with the rasengan he already beat me at it. Popping one-hundred in one day since we started? I barely did fifty! Konohamaru has improved on his transformation jutsu when he transformed into me. I mean sure, the boobs were too small and the ass was flat but...other than that a bit more practice and he'd get the portions of my body right and for Sarada, she really got the Phoenix Sage Fire down really fast.''
She smiled at the thought of how amazing her students were during the training and she inwardly giggled at how it compared to when Minato Namikaze was her Jonin sensei.
''I really do see Kakashi and Obito in you Naruto, Konohamaru. It really warms my heart that I get to train you Naruto, Minato-sensei would be really proud at how well you are doing with your training.''
The positive thoughts made her giggle and she opened her eyes and looked at the night sky to see that there was a full moon high above. Her smile however disappeared as she remembered why she did not like to see the full moon. During the last war while on a mission against Iwa in a night infiltration she and her teammates were compromised and both Kakashi and Obito perished against an onslaught of Iwa shinobi and she barely made it out alive. She only made it out alive when Minato-sensei arrived but it was just too late to save the other two. She was clinging on for dear life and that night was the same night she got the sharingan from Obito. The second reason was the night the Kyuubi attacked the village and caused the deaths of Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki and the beast being sealed inside a just born Naruto.
Even though she was thinking happy thoughts about her team's great first training session she began to feel tears at the previous thoughts she was having about her teammates and sensei.
She began to lightly sob.
''I miss you all so much.'' she sobbed, almost in a whisper like tone.
She wiped a tear that began to creep out the corner of her eyes and she used a finger to wipe them both away.
Though she was with her students for two months now she had to make sure she always put on a tough girl act in front of them as to hide her sad, lonely and soft side. she wanted to be the kind of kunoichi that her students could look up to and be tough like. What kind of sensei would she be to them if she portrayed herself as weak and sensitive? She absolutely did not want them to be like that, especially Sarada with what happened with Sasuke massacring the Uchiha clan. Just as quickly as her tears came she calmed herself down and soon she wasn't feeling emotional anymore. The only time she ever really got emotional was at home where no one could see her and the only person that ever saw her this way was Tsunade. When she lost her sensei, Kushina and her teammates Tsunade took her in and watched her grow through her teen years as a kunoichi and medic-nin.
She was grateful Lady Tsunade was there as she had always looked up to the legendary sannin for her caring personality and skills as a medic. In time Tsunade had become a second mother to her after her own had also perished during the fox's rampage. She continued to bathe in the springs for at least another hour before she decided to head home for the night and just when she gets up to get dressed she swore she heard some perverted giggling on the other side of the wooden barrier that separated the female springs from the men's. She stood still for a few seconds before she heard the giggling continue and she snapped her attention to the barrier and saw what she believed to be a small peephole and an eyeball looking through it.
''Hehe, I've finally got a peek at you Rin!" giggled the unknown pervert.
Instantly recognizing the voice Rin materialized several kunai and threw them at the peephole. ''YOU GODDAMN PERVERTED HERMIT!"
''OH CRAP WAIT!''
The unknown peeping Tom leaped backward from the peephole to avoid losing his eye but at the same time Rin had leaped over the wall and crashed landed on the unknown creep.
''RIN WAIT!'' the man pleaded.
Grabbing the man by the collar of his mesh undershirt and held a kunai at his throat.
''Just what the hell do you think you're doing Master Jiraiya?! You think you can peek on me like that huh?!'' Rin screamed at the top of her lungs.
Jiraiya held his hands up defensively in front of him and began to plead his case to the Jonin. ''I wasn't peeking on you Rin I was only doing my research!''
''Yeah right! It's just an excuse for you to look at girls when they're at their most vulnerable!''
Rin then put Jiraiya in a chokehold but as much as the sannin resisted he wasn't able to fight off Rin due to her extreme anger giving her super strength he was eventually choked into unconsciousness. Setting the sannin down Rin went to get dressed before dragging the man out of the hot springs and toward the Hokage tower since even though he was peeking on her she already knew why he was here and she wanted Tsunade to talk to the perv first before he could even meet Naruto.
-Hokage's Tower-
''Is that anyway to make your return to the village you perverted idiot?'' Tsunade said in annoyance.
She was happy to see her old teammate but when she saw Rin dragging his unconscious form into the office she already knew why he wasn't even moving in the first place and almost ended up killing the man in his unconscious state. So instead they tied him up in a way that he couldn't use hand seals to escape from the bindings.
''You sent a summon to contact me to come and help train Naruto with Rin so I came! First I wanted to go find Rin to talk to her.'' Jiraiya explained.
''And you couldn't just wait until I got home to find me? The only way you would've known I was at the hot springs was if you were fucking stalking me!'' Rin shouted in anger.
Tsunade wasn't shocked at that either, this old perverted hermit managed to sneak into the village after her summons found him and he stalks someone like this.
''You're an idiot, sannin or not Rin could press charges against you for that kind of crap and I don't take kindly to it you moron.'' said the Hokage.
Jiraiya knew the Hokage had him there but the stalking of Rin wasn't all bad. ''Okay I admit, I was stalking Rin but I was observing her and her students at the training field.''
Rin and Tsunade looked at each other and while they wanted to deny that his stalking wasn't all bad if he was telling the truth then they would let slide. The two women then glared back at him and the tense glares made him feel more uneasy.
''Look I'm sorry I didn't approach you directly Rin but I just wanted to see how Naruto was doing with the training you were putting him in.'' the perverted sage admitted.
The ladies knew he was telling the truth and seeing no more reason to have him tied up Rin cut him free albeit having him create a distance of six feet away from them since they didn't want the perv anywhere near them unless certain circumstances called for it.
''Oh yeah?" Rin said.
''Yeah! The boy is doing really well with the rasengan's water balloon training. One hundred by the end of each session? That's impressive and he popped more than me and even Minato.'' Jiraiya said proudly.
''Pfft, you could've trained him since the day he was born but oh no you decided to go on some perverted adventure and leave me to train him. You know about the deal me and Lady Tsunade made?''
Jiraiya tilted his head curiously. Those two made a deal? Tsunade's summon didn't mention anything about that and just told him the woman wanted him back at the village since it was about him training Naruto and said summon mentioned that he would have joint training of Naruto with Rin.
''Wait, a deal? What kind of deal are you ladies talking about?''
''We made a deal that you will not be allowed to train Naruto until I give you the approval. As you saw he does have the rasengan down but you WILL NOT train him. I only want you to train him in the use of the Hiraishin. No more and no less.'' explained the younger medic.
There really wasn't a point in arguing with the women, from what he observed from spying on the four while they were training he knew Naruto had potential to surpass his father. But if Rin wanted to keep the blonde boy with her until he can completely and utterly master the rasengan then it would be fine with him.
''Okay I understand, but aside from Naruto eventually being my student there's something I thought would be of valuable information to you Tsunade.'' Jiraiya said while looking at his fellow sannin.
The serious in his voice caught the women off guard and knew this was something that they couldn't ignore. Tsunade knew he had an immense and effective spy network running through the great villages and something was telling her this might be about the Akatsuki.
''Spit it out then perv.'' Tsunade demanded.
Jiraiya simply nodded. ''Okay, first and foremost I assume we all know or have heard of the Akatsuki right? I know that Kiri's jinchuuriki was taken from them.''
Rin mentally scolded herself for her team's failure to get Utakata back from Sasuke and Kisame and she felt like the biggest failure in the world.
''We knew that, my team was sent on that mission and we failed really bad.'' Rin said through gritted teeth.
The perverted sannin could sense the emotion from Rin.
''Don't worry about it Rin there was nothing you and the team could have done. Now who were the two Akatsuki members that took Utakata?'' he asked.
''It...it was Sasuke Uchiha and a man from Kiri named Kisame Hoshigaki.'' answered the medic.
He already knew that Sasuke had massacred his whole entire clan and despite having his spy network work hard to locate him he had come up short but to think he would commit crimes for the Akatsuki so soon by capturing a jinchuuriki surprised him.
''So you strike as soon as you defect? You're really bold Sasuke and to think you're out there hunting the tailed beasts means Naruto would be your target very soon.'' Jiraiya thought.
''Wait, why did you even want to know who the Akatsuki were and why did you ask the names of the two?'' Rin questioned curiously.
''From what my spy network gathered the Akatsuki tend to work in teams of two whenever they do work for the organization and knowing Sasuke had defected I wanted to see if he had already made an attempt to capture a jinchuuriki.'' Jiraiya explained, ''You see, my spies believe that the Akatsuki pair members based on how well their skills compliment each others.''
''Interesting, is there anything else you can tell us about this organization?'' Tsunade said.
Jiraiya just shook his head. ''Sadly that's all I got now Tsunade.'' He then looked at Rin. ''If I can't train Naruto alongside then I see no reason for me to stick around here and..''
''Stay.'' Rin said with no emotion in her voice.
''Huh?''
''I said stay Master Jiraiya.''
Jiraiya and Tsunade looked at Rin confused as they knew she, despite her respect for Jiraiya's power had an open dislike for the man due to his perverted tendencies and his failure to get involved in Naruto's life when he was younger she knew that if the Akatsuki somehow found out that Jiraiya had returned to Konoha they might not want to risk battling him and Tsunade, plus the entire shinobi force in the village to get to Naruto. Rin knew that if Jiraiya stayed it would benefit the village and help keep it safer should the Akatsuki try to go for Naruto which she knew was coming in the near future.
''Why would you want me to stay? I know you don't like me for my research and being incognito for Naruto's life.'' said the sage.
''I know that you perv but, you being here only adds to our strength should the Akatsuki try to get Naruto.'' Rin snarked.
Tsunade looked at Rin and smiled, she was proud that Rin was willing to put aside her general dislike of the other sannin and asking him to stay would sure keep the village more safe.
''She's right Jiraiya stay I mean, we haven't seen each other for a while so stay and we can catch up later.'' declared the medic sannin.
Jiraiya gave their proposal some thought and nodded his head in agreement but there were terms.
''Okay you ladies got it however, I want to be able to at least check in with Rin at the end of every week of Naruto's training schedule to see how far he is getting. Since he is learning the rasengan from you I feel its only right for me to see his progress with it.''
''Anything else?'' Tsunade asked.
''Secondly, I think if I roamed the Land of Fire and the Akatsuki find out it may deter them from even stepping within our borders. I can also use that chance to meet with my spy network and when I come to check Naruto's progress I'll deliver the info I know to you.''
''Sounds good Jiraiya, anything else?''
''I'm good, one week from now Rin let's meet in the woods away from the village so I can see his progress.''
Rin nodded. ''Alright, but remember you aren't touching my student until I am satisfied with his training you got it pervert?''
''I know and I get it, however that doesn't mean I won't step in if the Akatsuki try to get him.'' Jiraiya said, a hand raised in front of him defensively.
''If there isn't anything else can we finally go to sleep? It's almost 1 in the morning.'' Tsunade yawned.
''You think you can head home Rin? I kinda want to catch up with Tsunade if you don't mind?'' Jiraiya asked.
Rin was seriously praying to kami the perverted sage wasn't going to try anything with the Hokage but could sense that Jiraiya was being truthful to she conceded.
But that was not until...
''BUT FIRST RIN! HOW WOULD YOU LIKE A COPY OF MY LATEST ISSUE OF THE MAKEOUT PARADISE SERIES?!'' Jiraiya screamed at the top of his lungs.
The sannin reached into his satchel and pulled out a pink book with an almost nude medic kunoichi on the cover.
Rin was appalled at such an offer and before she can voice her discontent she looked at the cover long and hard and noticed something off about the almost nude medic. It had the same hair style as her, the same body proportions...
Tsunade merely sweatdrops at her teammates usual antics and the thought of Rin being the subject of one of his novels made her cringe and shiver.
''...''
''So Rin whattya think?! It's the first copy and starting tomorrow I'm going to have it hit bookstores!'' declared an overly joyous Jiraiya.
The Jonin did not give the sannin an answer and simply took the book right out of Jiraiya's hand and took out a kunai knife and shredded the entire novel to pieces much to the chagrin and shock of Jiraiya and the amusement of Tsunade. The sannin almost ran to Rin to grab the novel but Tsunade quickly grabbed him and held him in place as Rin continued to shred the paperback work into oblivion.
''NOOOOOO MY RESEARCH!''
''You...GODDAMN SICK OLD MAN!'' Rin screamed viciously into his face.
It took Jiraiya a good hour to calm down from the destruction of his work and by the time he did Rin had already left obviously very angry with the sannin and this left Tsundae alone with the pervy man.
''Sorry about the tears Tsunade, now on to a more serious topic.'' Jiraiya said having finally calmed himself down.
''From the seriousness in your voice you don't want to catch up huh? Spit it out what do you need to tell me?'' Tsunade said sternly.
Putting his pervy persona away he put on a real serious face and the tone in the room felt tense. Ever since Sasuke had killed off his entire clan the male sannin had to get answers.
''Why did he do it? Do we have a definite answer to his crime?'' he asked.
Whenever that was mentioned Tsunade couldn't help but cringe, that bastard went from a highly respected member of his village to the most hated and spat on in such a short amount of time.
''I don't know Jiraiya..that's a question that won't be answered until he is captured.''
''I see, it just doesn't make sense to a supposed pervert like me but when news of that reached the town I was in I gave an order out to my spy network to let me know if there are any rumors or sightings of that bastard anywhere on the continent I would report back to you. I have them working 24/7 trying to track him down and so far we've come up short but we aren't giving up the search as he will be brought to justice.'' Jiraiya declared confidently.
''There's a problem with trying to bring him to justice though.'' Tsunade interjected.
''Oh yeah? What problem?''
''The thing is, Sarada vowed to kill him and sees no reason for him to be brought to justice for what he did.''
Jiraiya sighed loudly at that and it wasn't a shocker to him at all and to him it would be better to bring Sasuke to justice and locked away for the rest of life but if Sarada manages to take him down in the near future then he was fine with it too.
''That is her brother after all, but a Genin at her level won't be able to match him at this point.''
''As much as I hate to admit it, I personally think if Sarada was presented a chance to take him down we must leave her to do it. Then again I don't want her to get hurt by him as he would never kill her.'' Tsunade added.
''How can you be so sure he wouldn't kill her? With what he did I'm sure the first chance he gets when he sees her he'll take her head off!'' Jiraiya spoke in a slightly raised voice.
''They encountered him during their mission to Kiri right? He had the chance right there and didn't kill his sister.''
Now he was really confused, why kill off everyone else in the entire clan but not Sarada? It literally just doesn't make sense to him let alone Tsunade herself. Knowing this conversation wouldn't go anywhere if they talked about Sasuke's crimes the male sannin excused himself for the night.
''I'll see you at the end of the week so if you need anything just send a summon my way and any new info I get from the spy network I'll bring it to you.'' Jiraiya said before bidding his friend farewell and leaves the office.
-Briefing Room, Hokage's Tower-
She was taken by surprise when a few letters of urgency reached her in the early morning and she knew it would've been a matter of time before the Akatsuki would set their sights on Naruto. Now that she knew the Mizukage had lost her other jinchuuriki as well as the Tsuchikage and the Kazekage the Hokage knew that this meant that if the criminal organization could get their hands on the other two jinchuuriki her village will be in grave danger and she had to inform her shinobi.
The next morning the fifth Hokage was seen sitting on her chair as she watched her shinobi enter the briefing room, surely some were aware of the important event that was coming in the next month but she was indeed sure they did not notice what was going to happen when it came down to the jinchuurikis who haven't been captured by the Akatsuki. Several minutes would pass and soon the room was filled with various Jonin and Chunin and she stood up and nodded to her ninjas and among them was Rin herself.
''Good morning everyone.'' Tsunade said with a nod.
''Good morning Lady Tsunade.'' greeted the shinobi.
''I'm sure you're all wondering why I brought you in here so I'll get straight to the point. We all know about the Akatsuki and their apparent goal of capturing the jinchuurikis right?''
The various shinobi talked among themselves before nodding in response to the Hokage's question.
''Early this morning I got letters from the Kazekage that his son who was a jinchuuriki has been kidnapped and for the Mizukage she has lost her other jinchuuriki. In the Raikage's case he has lost one of his but the one who contains the 8-tails is still in his possession.''
The shinobi talked among themselves again before going silent but Rin would have a question to ask.
''What about the Tsuchikage Lady Tsunade?'' asked the woman.
Tsunade shook her head. ''I wouldn't know as the man is stubborn and still hates our village a lot I will still try to see if we can cooperate against this threat. With this new information I have decided I will be restricting the amount of ninja that will be out for C to A ranked missions. Neighboring towns will also have at least 50 shinobi in them as an extra means of security and should anyone encounter a member of this group you are not to engage AT ALL.''
The shinobi cringed in slight fear at the tone she used for the last two words she spoke and they knew she was being serious.
''It doesn't matter how good of a shinobi you are we have no idea how capable and strong ninja in this organization are so I don't want any of you throwing your life away like that.''
Deep down Rin had this feeling that the Akatsuki might send Sasuke and that Kisame guy again to capture Naruto and having fought him before she understood Sasuke and Kisame's combat capabilities to an extent.
''Lady Tsunade.''
''Yes? What is it Rin?''
''How do you plan on setting up the security for the towns outside the village?''
''I plan on using a combination of ANBU black ops as well as the normal 3-man Genin teams. ANBU will be on the outskirts of the town, hiding in buildings and anywhere where there is high ground on the edge and in the town and if you're wondering Rin that means your group will have a few extra ANBU for added security. This will start tomorrow morning so those who I have scheduled to do missions that will keep you in foreign countries you will be rescheduled to patrols. Anyone who has questions about this may speak to me after this. Dismissed.''
The shinobi all got up and bowed respectfully to the Hokage before they all left and Tsunade had noticed that Rin was the only one remaining so he motioned for the Jonin to come to her.
''There's no doubt in my mind if the Akatsuki would try to get Naruto they'd send Sasuke since he obviously knows us best.''
''That's exactly who I have the ANBU keeping an eye out for and I know he's most likely to be looking for you because he knows if he finds you he'll find Naruto and you're the only one who can match him in a fight but I'm still not having you do this alone. I'll have Guy and Yugao back up and your team up.''
That put a bit of relief as Guy and Yugao were good friends of hers and extremely capable shinobi themselves so to know she had them for backup really put her mind at ease should Sasuke show his face if he comes to get Naruto.
''I'm glad I get those two as backup so does that mean we'll have Guy's Genin as well?''
''Yes, they will however remain alongside your Genin. Guy is probably the only other person aside from you who can match Sasuke in taijutsu but promise me this.''
''What would that be Lady Tsunade?''
Tsunade looked hard into Rin's eyes to show that she needed her to do just one thing.
''If Sasuke is sent to get Naruto, make sure you, Guy, Yugao and the Genin protect him.''

''YOSH! I am pleased to be partnered up with my good friend and rival!'' exclaimed a Jonin with a bowl haircut and green jumpsuit.
Next to him was a woman with purple hair and a ninjato strapped to her back and she wore the standard ANBU uniform and she couldn't believe her luck. She'd rather be dead than be partnered up with someone as loud as Might Guy, Konoha's green clad taijutsu specialist.
''Just..please don't be so loud Guy sheesh.'' Yugao said shaking her head.
''I was excited to have a great taijutsu user partnered up with me then I forgot how ridiculous your intensity is.'' Rin said rubbing her temples.
Behind the three Jonin were six Genin and the first three were Rin's team and the other were Guy's team which consisted of Tenten, Neji Hyuga and Rock Lee.
''Is your sensei always this weird?'' Sarada questioned.
''IT IS NOT WEIRD IN THE SLIGHTEST! GUY SENSEI MAY BE INTENSE YES BUT HE'S A GREAT MENTOR!'' Rock Lee declared, fire replacing his eyes.
''Oh brother.'' Tenten thought with a sweatdrop.
''I'll never ever get used to their ridiculous levels of intensity.'' Neji said stoically.
''Weirdos.'' Naruto thought with a deadpan expression.
''I'm just about to ask the old lady to put us with someone else.'' Konohamaru said under his breath.
Despite loud outbursts and intensity from Guy and Lee the other seven just stared into space to ignore their intense behavior and before they even realized it they had actually reached the gates leading into Tanzaku Town.
Tenten looked at the sign and seeing where they were she couldn't help but shrug.
''Hey they still contributed to us getting here faster huh?''
Rin rolled her eyes and soon they walked into town and with that Guy, Rin and Yugao went to their area in the north side of town whereas the Genin were all instructed to rendezvous with some ANBU who would be confirming their arrival with the Hokage.

''And these are your village's best? What a joke Sasuke I expected better.''
Kisame was seen standing tall over the bodies of several Konoha ANBU agents, their bodies shredded and mangled from him using his Samehada blade. Sasuke had several dead ANBU around him as well and despite the pain of having to kill fellow Leaf shinobi he showed no visible emotion even to his Kiri partner, his blade stained in their blood.
''Keep it quiet you idiot we're almost in town.'' Sasuke said, no emotion in his voice.
''Whatever you say partner.'' Kisame quipped.
The two Akatsuki members had a change in entire since it was no secret on what the Akatsuki members wore so they chose to come into fire country with simple hooded cloaks and gaiters covering their faces. With all the ANBU in this town dealt with they made their way into the town ready to find and capture Naruto Uzumaki for Pain and in Sasuke's case, Madara Uchiha's eye of the moon plan.
